I feel like i've posted these already. Sorry if the image quality sucks, I'm kinda just copying old stuff I posted on discord so maybe it's getting double compressed. I'm preemptively apologizing cuz the preview looks super blurry but I'm too lazy to do something about it. Maybe I should apologize for that instead.
It's really fast but it might be due to how empty these testing levels are and not how well I coded it lol. I sorta want to edit the shader I'm using to do a radial wipe but glsl is the enemy of mankind.

Super important feature since I can't put the whole game in one scene without gigabrain code turning things off and on as needed. It also lets me teleport the player within a scene which is nice
Started implementing another important menu. This one gives you and overview of all your quests and lets you lightly manage them. I plan to also put a 'database' feature in so you can come back to important information/lore you've encountered previously.
Time to begin a shit ton of reposting. The title is the date of the original post. If you don't want to wait for it to appear here you can try and find my Twitter. No, I will not link it for you lazy bum. I will link discord tho
All I really did was move it to the left of the screen compared to the one the older version of the game had. I like though since you could technically get back to what you were doing on the overworld while the game celebrates your victory (or uh discusses your loss) of to the side.
I present to you my first block out for a dungeon level. Yea, it isn't great lol. But with these pieces in mind, I was able to make a proper sketch
It still needs some work but I'm getting somewhere with it. If only writing the story was this easy...
Slowly putting it together... It's just undergoing a few hiccups, totally not bugs arising from my janky programming skills
A blog for a game about a rather peculiar exam. Made in Godot Engine!
