To add on: I had a thought a while back after seeing this post for the first time, that the world where Maria survives could be the New Yoke one? And perhaps Dr. Done-it could be Gerald.

I don't know my Sonic lore too well yet as I'm pretty new to this fandom but maybe Gerald figured out a way to cure Maria at the cost of Shadow? GUN could've been pissed about loosing the ultimate lifeform and had the project shut down. Or not at the cost of Shadow, but that GUN simply wouldn't like how Shadow was used for medicine and healing instead of training to be a weapon and still send that squad to get Gerald & Shadow. However instead of Maria getting shot it would be Shadow? He could maybe be weakened and vulnerable somehow as a result of finding the cure for Maria and his immortality and healing aren't working because of it and dies. However I'm not so sure what could lead to Gerald becoming evil, but one way or another it happens and Maria (going by the vibe I've gotten from the movie and what I've seen of the project shadow lore) would be opposed to him. She could be aiding the rebellion in New Yoke, working from the shadows to bring the Chaos Council down. She'd most definitely be aged up but by how much, I'm not sure. With this I personally see seasons 1 & 2 being largely the same outside of Rebel & Knuck mentioning an unknown helper (maybe they call her Shadow and Sonic thinks it's a version of Shadow and doesn't realise it untill season 3?).

Season 3 would then need a rewrite to include more of Shadow and explore the Maria & Shadow dynamic, especially with the versions of them who've lost the other. During episodes 3x1 and 3x2, Shadow could remove the inhibitor rings to get a power boost, get out of Grim and start figuring out where Sonic is. Meanwhile in New Yoke, Maria could reveal herself and help get the citizens safely to the Chaos Council base (maybe appealing to Gerald to let them in?). Shadow could then appear and cue angst!

Not sure how to continue it from there so someone much more talented and knowledgeable of the lore and characters can take it from there :').

SONIC PRIME MISSED OPPORTUNITY

I think Sonic Prime could have had an alternate version of Maria Robotnick where she survived but Shadow didn't. Similar to Gwen from Spiderverse.

everyone cheered when they said lines from the trailer (flint and steel, the nether, chicken jockey, etc)

there was a technoblade reference of a pig wearing a crown

there was a LOT of romantic tension between jason momoa and jack black. no really. like there will be fics. and i will be reading them.

jack black sung a couple songs. they were decent

a plan involved jason momoa and jack black wearing mushroom hats and playing trumpet in front of a group of evokers to distract them.

endermen don't just attack you, they make you hallucinate the people you love saying they hate you. and then they attack you

jason momoa sacrificed himself but came back at the end to save someone (classic)

there was a weird america's got talent reference ? nether's got talent ? and it was the backstory for the main villain ?? (they played pigstep)

"first we mine, then we craft. now let's minecraft!" was actually a line. they said that out loud.

a piglin named chungus said he was gonna unalive the main characters.

jennifer coolidge did date a villager it was like 3 total scenes and largely ignored

in the post credits scene the end the villager spoke in perfect british english and it was revealed jennifer coolidge could speak villager then they got married

i think seeing it in theaters is the best thing you can do because the audience was hilarious i have so many videos of everyone applauding and laughing and commenting on stuff. anyways i know technically it sucks but whatever i had a good time

Was listening to the first live-action Monster High movie songs again and I can't believe that it took me this long to realise that the Mr. Hyde they talk about throughout the movie is a reference to the book Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde.

My favorite thing is imagining what it would be like if the canon characters met fanfiction versions of themselves

For example-

Canon Stephen: Who are you?

From the Top Stephen: I’m you, but where you only think of having sex with Tony Stark, I actually do it

Whenever Joker goes out under cover (as a regular civilian) he wears a scarf to cover his mouth and hide his teeth.

Now imagine he meets Bruce Wayne, they hit it off and start dating, both completely ignorant to who the other really is.

Joker goes out more as a regular person now that he has a boyfriend. During the day they date, and by night they fight, both careful not to reveal who they really are.

Bruce has seen the man without his scarf but it’s extremely rare and he speaks smaller, facing down to hide his mouth. Bruce just thinks he’s shy, and finds it adorable.

During an intimate moment together, Jokers scarf removed so they could share kisses, Bruce finally tells his boyfriend his biggest secret.. he’s Batman.

The Joker laughs like it was a bad joke, laughs so hard that Bruce sees his sharp pointed teeth and instantly recognizes the smile.

Joker slaps his hands over his mouth, realizing what Bruce had seen “… You’re not serious” he asks
