I know a lot of Smiling Friends fans love to heap praise on Zach Hadel for the show’s success because OneyPlays and its humor are more familiar to American audiences, but don’t forget that Michael Cusack is just as big a part of it! I just watched YOLO Crystal Fantasy (another show created by Michael) and so much of the humor is very Smiling Friends-y. That show has awkward realistic conversations, random rotoscoping and live-action shots, silly little musical numbers, and lots more that made me go “hey that’s just like a Smiling Friends bit.” It’s not all Zach’s work! Give Michael credit too!

IT GOT BANNED BEFORE I COULD EVEN SAY GOODBYE OR ASK FOR THEIR OTHER SOCIALS IM GONNA CRY!!!!
