Some lightning shots I got this evening. Was supposed to be a fairly big storm so I set up my camera to try and image it. It nearly passed me by completely. I did manage to capture a few of the cloud-to-cloud lightning as it was receding. None struck the earth from my view. Took a lot of shots to get 3 moderately decent images. Orion Nebula - the middle "star" in Orion's sword in the same constellation. A favourite target for all astro-photographers because of its colours and size. It is fairly easy to image without overly fancy equipment.
