my Wife used to hate these boots. i asked why and it was societal in nature. Only prostitutes wear them and they are slutty. She appeased me after a request to wear them a couple of times. Some notes from Her...they are comfortable, stable, warm and although She does not like them as much as Her knee high boots She does see the value in them. She is generally happy in them but i also know when i have not lived up to my standards.
