Crowley referring to Gabriel, Michael, and the others not as "angels" but as (the honestly more accurate) "angelic entities" in front of Aziraphale is such a wonderful bit of flirt.

Crowley very deliberately not using "angel" to describe anybody else as a nod to Aziraphale that Crowley's romantic pet name for him is a word that he sees as belonging just to Aziraphale is really sweet.

Romancing his angel and shading angelic entities have always been the twin passions of Bildad the Shuhite.

in the reunion scene there's a moment during the hug where louis is moving away a little to place a kiss on lestat's temple but lestat thinks he's ending the hug and for a second lestat's hands move to let him go but then he's like "oh" and his hands move back again to embrace louis fully, and every time i see it i can't function for half an hour

Yeah okay so every vampire in the vampire chronicles is turned at critical a moment in their lives and beyond just the body they are in when they are turned, their mentality stays at that standstill for their entire immortality, Lestat was turned against his will, he was clinging onto Magnus begging him to be freed, so he’s constantly seeking freedom and only finding loneliness and thus turning back to people again and again, however he can’t STAND being told what to do, since he desires agency in his life so desperately, Armand was turned after years and years of abuse and lack of control but such a desire for genuine love, by a man he ‘loved’ so wholly who he felt was barring his love from him, he needs control in his life, he needs a ‘master’ but he does not desire it, it does not fulfill him, he is trapped in a room but the door is unlocked! Louis was mourning his brother, he felt like an utter failure and so he’s always seeking family, seeking people he can care for, he can coddle, he can prove he is good too, but he loves people who either cannot stand coddeling and need a sense of looseness to live (Lestat) or people who grow out of coddling who prove to Louis he will always fail the people he loves (Claudia), Claudias turning, in many MANY ways mirrors lestats in that it was against her will, she was stolen from her home, and in her immortality she desires freedom but unlike Lestat does not have the agency/ form to get it, she will always be small, she will always be looked down on, even by Lestat who cannot deny how much she is just like him *taps mic* ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME!! NONE OF THEM CAN BREAK THE CYCLE!!! TO BREAK IT WOULD BE TO UNDO THE VERY FIBER OF THEIR IMMORTAL SELVES!! THE CYCLE IS THE BLOOD THEY DRINK IT IS THE HEART IN THEIR CHEST AND IT ROLLS AND ROLLS DOWN THE MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS OF THEIR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER AND IT CAN NEVER BE STOPPED BECAUSE THEY WILL NEVER STOP LOVING EACH OTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!

DN Fanfiction Recs Masterpost

I will not be answering fanfiction Asks for an indefinite amount of time, which is why I prepared one post containing most (if not all) of the Death Note fanfiction recommendations on this blog.

A link to this post will be included in the blog’s bio/description so that it is always accessible. It’s worthy to mention that many fanfictions on these lists are repeated; however, they are separated into different categories so that readers can easily navigate through the works depending on what sorts of plot/genre they’re looking for. Fanfic recommendations on this blog were never properly organized, so instead of manually directing the readers to old posts with specific content, the latter can use this post to find fics, as it contains most of the common and popular plots/pairings. That being said, please do not send me any more fanfiction requests.

Regarding the popular ships Mello x Matt and Mello x Near, I have already apologized many times for my inability to recommend fanfictions of these pairings on this blog. You can find fics like this and more on deathnotefics blog (inactive). Still, a few fanfictions with these pairings are included in some of the posts mentioned below; those are exceptions.

This post isn’t final. It will be updated if I take any more requests in the future. For now, my fanfic request Ask box will be closed, and that doesn’t mean it will stay closed forever. Meanwhile, the blog will resume its normal activity (i.e: I will still be online); the only difference is that I will not be taking any more fanfic requests. Since most of which are redundant, this post shall combine them all.

As for fanfiction submissions, my inbox is still open. That is to say, you are free to submit your fanfictions here at any time. Submissions necessitate that the fanfiction submitted is your own work, not a recommendation. Recommendations are separated from submissions, and you are free to send in your fanfiction recommendations through an Ask/Message at any time. To clear things up for those who are confused: Recommendations are works you have read and liked, and you wish for others to read them. Submissions are your use of this blog as a platform to publish your work, so that more people can read it. Of course, your work has to be already published somewhere else (AO3, ff.net..) so all you have to do is submit the link to it.

My Ask box is still open to anything other than fanfiction requests, if anyone’s interested. Also, I might still recommend fanfictions by quotes/text posts from time to time.

If you think Bedelia told Will that Hannibal was in love with him, you're wrong.

When Will asks her plainly, “Is Hannibal in love with me?”, Bedelia does not offer the comfort or constraint of a simple “yes.” Instead, she replies: “He daily feels a stab of hunger and finds nourishment at the very sight of you.”

This is no evasion, but precision. Bedelia is the consummate observer, the only one perhaps capable of reading Hannibal accurately not through empathy but through pure intellect, refrains deliberately from naming the feeling as love. Because she knows better.

To say Hannibal is “in love” would be to reduce him to the category of the ordinary. It would be to align his experience of desire with that of humans, those who love and pine, who miss and regret, who fall and suffer. But Hannibal does not fall. He devours. He consumes. His longing is not sentimental but carnivorous. He is not wounded by love but sharpened by appetite.

Hannibal and Will both occupy a liminal space beyond the structures that define conventional emotion. They are not simply men, but something Other. Beasts, Fallen Angels, mirrors of each other’s darkness. For Bedelia to claim that Hannibal loved Will would not only be false, it would betray her own intelligence, and her understanding of what Hannibal is. Hannibal does not love in human terms. He feels hunger, fascination, aesthetic rapture, a sublime compulsion that transcends the human vocabulary of affection.

And that is precisely why Bedelia’s choice of words matters. He finds nourishment at the very sight of you. That is not love. That is need on a mythic scale. So, no, Bedelia did not tell Will that Hannibal was in love with him. She told him something much worse.
