end of session summary
armi did an oopsie and met someone that burned a whole kingdom to the ground. ;)
um... hi? just checking how everything works in this app
I completely forgot I signed up for this at some point, and just today got it in the mail. I was shocked to see Cave Johnson himself! Thank you so much! I plan to donate way more! This was so cool!
I sent everyone in the third batch an email today that either confirmed your Holiday Card has shipped or included your eCard, so please double check your inbox and junk folders if you haven't seen it come through yet!
Please also wait patiently for your Physical Cards to be delivered; they can take up to 2 weeks to arrive, especially if you live outside the US.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to my Ko-fi to help with PHSI! Your kindness has helped cover 44% of the cards sent this year!
The astute among you might have noticed that last week 48% was covered but this week it's only 44%, and might be wondering where the extra 4% went. Let me explain: When more people request a physical card, the total cost spent on cards goes up. If people don't donate to help match the number of requests, the percentage of cards covered goes down. This is why I always mention the need to donate in my posts!
I really hope that people continue to donate and help cover everyone's cards this year. After all, doing something nice for someone else is what PHSI is all about! Please visit ko-fi.com/247testing and click the Donate button if you'd like to give $5 or more to cover the cost of a card for you or someone else.
If you'd like to learn more about the Portal Holiday Spirit Initiative or request a Holiday Card yourself, check my blog's tags for #PHSI 2024!
Thanks everyone!

This cliché is death out of time, breaking the first the second the third the fourth wall, the fifth wall, floor; no floor: you fall!
the way that taz balance, in the stolen century and in the finale, used bonds as like, a mechanical thing? absolutely choice.
like it's just a box on the character sheet in dnd 5e that most people probably don't really fill out. to take something that's abstract like that, just a flavor element, and make it have like... tangible gameplay utility and repercussions?
i can't put a finger on why but it resonates with me just so much.
really not fucking around when i tell you to have a session 0 where everyone figures out PC relationships btw. in high school i played a game of dnd where i was a human rogue assassin from a murder cult and then found out on game day that there were two more human rogues and that those players had come up with their own murder cult.

I think I've posted this before but I'm marinating my thoughts on the themes I see in Control again
