Popular Artists & Friendships
One thing that I notice a lot with both myself & other well known artists I talk to is that you have a fan/follower that tries really hard to fish for your attention & create a friendship. If they realize their efforts didn’t work, they either try harder, passive aggressively reference it, or make a huge scene about how you’re too snobby to notice them.
Behavior like that is obviously unacceptable.
You can’t just ask to be friends with someone, nor can you just simply make them be your friend. Friendship isn’t something that you can ask for as if you’re at a restaurant wanting food. Relationships like that take time to build, it also goes down to how you present yourself. There are people out there that fail to understand this which saddens me. I fully understand the desire of wanting to get to know someone better, especially if they’re someone you admire/look up to but there are limits before you end up making yourself look like some creep or a try hard.

a while ago i reblogged a paypal tutorial with some extra info / warnings in the comments, but the site updated so i figured i’d make my own tutorial with all that extra info added in
if you’re new to paypal, “Send & Request” is at the top of the page - click that and then select “Pay for goods or services”
paypal says they will take a cut of the money when it gets to me but it’s only 2.9%, meaning anywhere from a couple of cents to a buck with the rates i usually charge. if you wanna be nice you can add that 2.9% in but i don’t expect people to and i don’t mind if you don’t
MAKE SURE YOU SELECT “NO ADDRESS NEEDED”. if you select the other options paypal will think i’m shipping you physical goods and expect me to cough up proof that i did - and they’ll flag me if i don’t!
as mentioned in the photoset, i need to be very careful about what people mention in the payment notes so that paypal doesn’t think i’m up to any fishy business and lock me down for it. all i need is for you to tell me who you are (tumblr / DA / FA account name etc) so i know who’s sending me what. if your blog name is ballslappingsex69.tumblr.com then consider using a nickname.

An AMAZING COLLAB I DID WITH WINGS this thing came out so amazing like i can’t even handle how great it came out!! ;w; (Now follow along as i explain how we did this lol) She did the sketching process of both our sonas, She also did the coloring and shading for her sonas side. She also did the moon and sun (the wavy lines you see in the circle). I did the lineart for both our sonas, I colored and shaded my sona, I did the sunlight rays and the moonlighting effect (those blurred out lines).
Overall we really loved how this came out and I just can’t help but post it <3 I hope we can do more cool stuff like this and I hope you all enjoyed the effort we put into this!
