Been there done that..it will happen again!
Recent rains encouraged this beautiful cap to grow and spread! Any ideas? It is believed this edible mushroom is a coprinus sterquilinus which white upon emergence but this speciman has another fungus turning it black.
Blue snake 'bout 5 feet long headed into the flower bed! Hope it catches some mice! Not our toads...sadly if they jump they're dinner.

Just want to take a minute and thank God for the rain we’ve had almost four inches here in South Texas. North of here in the Hill Country had 10 to 12 inches.

The prickly pear is blooming in South Texas! Red is not very common. Love it here!

No seed eating birds on my bird feeder today! This guy hunts my feeder I am guessing as I occasionally find feathers by the feeder. Love south Texas!
