I drew the last two staff members and I come bearing news of how the campaign has been going!

First: Have Roier (solitary guard) and Doied (prison doctor)

Now for the news:

My players have successfully escaped the prison! They're now playing out the final bit on a deserted island, but everything has gone so well. This campaign has been so much fun.

Every character in the campaign was a reference, which was honestly really fun to do.

I got to include some tap code ciphers in the most recent session, which was so cool. It was so cool to watch my players decode the message (though they still don't fully know what it means).

It has gone so well! I'm so very happy with it and my players have been enjoying it quite a lot, most of them have drawn fanart for it- It's so cool!

You guys know how I said I was doing another DnD campaign? Well it's started (this one isn't a oneshot this time), so I can start sharing the character sprites.

Before you ask. Yes, this is a Fuga Impossível campaign.

Hey so while the server is closed for now, can we go back to QSMP prison for a minute? Because I think we moved on way too fast from ghostbit, Abueloier, and the implications of their relationship.

Ok, just so I don't get this wrong, that old man was Abueloier, right? He was working as a janitor for the prison, and the ghost of his old friend that he betrayed has been haunting him for what, 60 years?

Was it confirmed that the ghost was related to qCellbit? Like an ancestor, or was that just a headcanon? Because listen, if that ghost was qCellbit's grandpa or something, then everything about Spiderbit (all the way from when we first met Abueloier just became more tragic and hilarious)

So, I'm going to take the headcanon that the ghost in the prison was q!Cellbit's grandpa for my own timeline:

Ghostbit and Abueloier are individually arrested by the Federation in their 20s (???)

They meet in prison and become friends

They plan an escape together

As time goes on, Abueloier became paranoid and less trusting of Ghostbit

Just as when they're about to escape, Abueloier betrays and kills his beloved friend and is damned to a life sentence as a prisoner

After more than half a century has gone by, Abuleoier's grandson is engaged. He's heard some stuff about the guy, but he still wants to meet the guy his son is about to marry.

Then he meets qCellbit, and finds out he has the same voice and the same face as his old friend. How haunting is that?

Then qCellbit is just set on killing him and absolutely hates him (for all the right reasons ofc)

Isn't that just the most poetic form of karma? To be forever haunted by, not only the ghost of your old friend, but you also continue to see his face and be reminded about your betrayal in the man your grandson chose to love...

God, in every universe and timeline, Spiderbit is just doomed by the narrative, aren't they?

Imagine it’s Doied in Roier’s body who realizes that little Pepito needs glasses- the tot keeps running into things, always squinting, always looking confused when someone points something out to Pepito. How Mariana of all people didn’t notice first is beyond him, but he’s stupid enough to believe Doied’s farce so he won’t complain.

Pepito is a reflection of him as a child, blindly stumbling around, unable to differentiate one blob from another, not being able to see his own twin properly, and well- what kind of father would he be if he didn’t fix his child’s problem?

Although his heart stings a bit when Pepito begins to cry happy tears, exclaiming that Pepito can finally see Pepito’s dad’s smile to the fullest, so it finally feels real.

The reunion of Pac and Cellbit a few days ago was exactly as I expected. An anticlimactic ending to a months old conflict. Which maintains both characters stagnant in terms of development, no new knowledge was gained in these past five/four months. However it seems that that sentiment wasn't really common, most people were just happy that they were ‘family’ again. ‘

Sometimes I feel that there is more interest in simply consuming the relationship between Cellbit and Pac, in a way that ‘saint-ifies’ Cellbit, than actually understanding what is going on and why. This makes Pac’s flaws exist in a vacuum, they are only allowed to exist and affect Pac’s actions when Cellbit and Pac are having a positive interaction. And it makes recollection of certain aspects of the story seem incredibly biased.

I definitely can’t see Pac and Cellbit’s ‘fervent family friendship” as much as seemingly other people do. Although Pac’s love, specifically familial love, for Cellbit is quite intense, as he is always missing him, wanting to help him and such and especially important he calls him family. Cellbit’s familiar love is completely nonexistent, (Romantic love is a completely different story as Cellbit did once imply he would be willing to cheat on Roier with Pac, but that was before Cellbit and Roier got together at all. And Cellbit did greet Pac by flirting with him at their last meeting.)  Cellbit seems to see Pac as more of a friend than a family member ( Need I remind you that the presence of a child within a group does not make a family?). This information gets quite clear when you decide to pay attention to how Cellbit titles his relationships, he always calls Roier, Richas and Pepito ( And I think Foolish and Jaiden as well but I cannot remember) his family, they even have their own clear, traditional family titles. Husband, Son, Son. The most recent example is his last stream, “No time is lost as long as it is spent with family” about them wasting time considering going to see a warden. I think he said once he sees bolas as a family but I don’t really have any proof of that beyond my own memory, and him non-jokingly calling Philza “Dad” during the tie-breakers in Purgatory. Cellbit has only called Pac his friend, he calls Pac his friend in the title of stream where he would save him from the Happy Pills, he calls Pac his friend when threatening to take Foolish’s access to the Ordem Theoritas if he continues to bother Pac and Mike. I’m not saying that Cellbit doesn’t care about the people whom he decides to title friend; The Regret Arc was done in order to save Felps, whom he titles as a friend ( A best friend however). But I do think that Pac is not that high on Cellbit’s hierarchy of importance.

I have my suspicions about their ‘clearly positive’ interactions. I sincerely do not know why Cellbit would call Pac queridinho when he feels proud of him. It's a nickname that carries such negative weight, it symbolizes power imbalance and it is used to cause intimidation. It makes me question if Cellbit reacting proudly to Pac's acts of independence are truly honest.

I think what I want to actually say is that although Cellbit and Pac's relationship is complex, I think people tend to cut it's rougher edges in order to create a more wholesome image.

I know the flowers Cellbit gifted Tallulah and Chayanne after he met up with Philza were most likely ones he just picked up in his travels [?] *but* I looked up the meaning after he gave Tallulah Fireweed and Chayanne Hyssop;

And I'm so normal about this by chance meaning of this.

Maybe in another universe, this is more than a far dream.

And a little information taken from Cellbit's Live: He said he is looking forward to this new year of QSMP, in particular he spoke about the 3rd. Even at the end of the Live, he made us agonize with anxiety saying ``In fact, on the 3rd…´´ and closed the live. I don't know if it will be exactly on the 3rd, because the 3rd is an event day, and I don't really know WHAT TYPE of event it will be, if it will just be opening the server, or if there is something more, but the return him and qBaghera seem closer and closer. The continuation of qRoier's Lore also seems close, tape 2 seems to be on the way, I wonder if it could come out this Friday, or even on Saturday itself. I saw people theorizing on the neighboring network that tape 2, the rescue and the event would all happen on Saturday and I confess that I find it very difficult, but if all of this really happens, well...I'm sure we will explode. I confess that my biggest anxiety at the moment is the rescue, because qCellbit and qBaghera have been without their children for more or less 5 months. And to top it off, they think they are dead. Today Cellbit commented this about his character, that he doesn't exactly consider himself an absent father because he thinks he no longer has a son, so…it's just anguish.For the love of God, let this family find each other.

So we all know Pomme and Richas disappeared before the testing started, and I remember seeing someone say that they went to Purgatory for the rescue without Phil

But I raise you one better

They went to GET Phil

They are currently dragging his unconscious ass to a boat and leaving as we speak

He's gonna wake up and it'll basically be like

It would be SO fuckin funny

Okay, a lot of information in a short period of time to process. First of all, Cucurucho decided to take advantage of the parents' “absence” to carry out experiments on the children. He took everyone except Richas and Pomme, because they're clearly slipperier and smarter than he thinks (qCellbit and qBaghera's rescue team on the way). The eggs had to answer questions based on the situation, who their parents are (in this case, who they have already met, so the youngest ones did not include QJaiden, QPol,QRiver,QCarre, etc…unfortunately for Hideduo Cucurucho, no seemed to approve of QPac as Ramon's father, in short, homophobic.), they needed to talk about living with their parents and other eggs, etc. In the next test, the children had to fight each other: Chayanne/Empanada= Chay Ramon/Tallullah= Talulu Pepito/Dapper= Dapper Sunny/Leo=Leo. Finally, Cucurucho went to the reporting room, where there are cabinets for each egg, he said that there can be no failures, the Federation wants perfection. He told them to look for Richas and Pomme and then pressed the red button. The final information is that the vovos are divided into groups, interestingly, only Richas is in group 4, along with an unknown live egg. Hope? A 1? Who knows. But I'm curious because when group 4 appeared, the screen started to fail, to have static…I think our little eggs have a lot more Lore than we think.But if there's a new egg, I wonder how they're going to find it. Will it be for the new residents, or will it be for some of the old ones? Could it be connected to qCellbit's search? Because two unknown eggs were shown, one alive and one dead. Which is which?

I think we move on too quickly from this Jaiden and Bagi: Failed Baghera and Cellbit: Issued Mouse and Étoiles: Rejected ElQuackity and Arin: Obsuleted

I'm not the first person to make this connection, I'm sure, but I wanted to put it out into the world before we get the rescue mission arc.

So, we know that QCellbit and QBaghera 100% believe their children are totally dead, and they react with great hostility to anyone claiming otherwise (as we saw with what happened to BBH in purgatory 2's Bolas hunt).

Put a pin in that.

You guys remember the false eggs from the election? The ones that looked like Chay and Tallulah (just uncracked) but turned out to actually be codes?

Put a pin in that too.

Now, remember that it's specifically Pomme and Richas planning this rescue mission, with the aid of QPhilza.

Others have also pointed out the way Philza spoke about the mission could imply the two eggs will very likely lose a canon life doing this.

One last pin, I promise.

Cellbit and Baghera believe their children are dead, but suddenly, out of nowhere and without warning, what looks like their eggs come running up to them. In their current mental states, they very well might believe it to be a trick like the false eggs, set up by the purgatory watcher with the sole intention of torturing them, so they might fight.

Imagine the horror they'd each experience if they realized these truly were their eggs, alive and well, only moments too late. Imagine Phil running up too late to stop them, shouting to them that they were real, that they were alive. Imagine the heartbreak.

I hope it won't be like this, but I recognize the angst potential when I see it.

There was context to this, but I think it's funnier without it.

Cellboo the wingman my beloved

So... Cellboier decided to give us old man yaoi, I am honoring their wishes

(can't believe i am unaronically writing about Abueloier and his "friend", dear fucking god)

There was blood under his nails, but that wasn't new. He sometimes scratched too hard or got too rough with the guards after trashing around his cell. Those were the bad days, when he couldn't even control where his hands landed.

Any other day, he couldn't control where his thoughts landed. That was the real danger. Not the scratches and bruises, the teasers and beatings. None of that compared to what years of confinement can do to you.

It probably would've been even worse had he not met him.

"Hey" he had whispered one night from the cell next to his, just over a year ago, after the guards left "You okay?"

"De puta madre" Abueloier hissed, touching his busted lip "Y tu qué? You're new?"

"Got transfered today" the man behind the wall moved to the front of the cell, Abueloier instinctively followed "Are they always like that?"

"Only if you're crazy enough to start breaking shit in your cell and threatening to kill everybody"

"Are you?"

Abueloier almost heard a smile in his whisper. He'd always remember that as the moment he realized he had finally found a match, someone of his caliber. An equal, a partner.

"On my bad days" he answered.

The other huffed a short laugh "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you at your worst"

"I'd hope so, you would hate me at my best"

From then on, they moved together as one. It was them against the rest of the inmates, the guards, the entire prison. They shared every meal, every recess, and talked about what they'd do once they made it out.

"I'll build myself a house" he spoke around a spoonful of beans "Maybe a castle"

Abueloier laughed "You dream too big"

"Okay then, what will you do?"

He shrugged and looked down at the stale beans on his plate "Make tacos, probably"

The talking got to planning, the days got longer and Abueloier's mind got louder. Every time his new friend explained what they had to do, his voice morphed into some distortion of what he said. The last days were bad, worst than bad, and nothing could stop that train of thought from flying off the rails.

"How do you know their schedual?" his hands shook, they had been doing that for a while.

"I told you already, I sneaked into the office-"

"Yeah, right. Fucking likely" there was a noise coming from his right but nobody noticed, so Abueloier didn't turn to check. He kept staring into those wild, troubled blue eyes and decided that if there was a white figure at the corner of his eye, he'd not give it the satisfaction of being noticed.

"You trust me, right?" he tilted his head, some of his hair brushing the neck of his uniform. Had that smile always been part of the design on their uniforms? Was it there at all?

"I do" he sighed and closed his eyes, mostly to avoid noticing more than he could handle "We can do this, and we will. Together"

There was blood under his nails, and it wasn't his or from any guard. His only friend tried to sit up to cough up blood but winced when it only made the knife dig further into his abdomen.

"Why would you do this to me?" he heaved, but Abueloier was about to ask the same thing.

"Where do you know them from? Was this entire thing just a trick to get me to them?"

That smile was plastered everywhere, he could see it in the blood that poured from his friend. He would see it in the tears that fell to his hands.

"I would've gone to the end of the Earth with you, but you chose them" he pressed his forehead to a bloody chest, feeling the difficulty of its rise and fall "You chose them. You chose them. I would've chosen you"

The realization came seconds before those wild, troubled blue eyes dimmed into nothing. There was blood under his nails, on his hands, on his clothes, pouring from his friend's body. There was betrayal laced to his last words.

"I choose you too" it sounded like a scratched record, wet with the blood drowning the sound from his throat "At your worst and at your best"

The guards found him some time later, maybe minutes, maybe hours, could've been days for all he knew. Turns out they didn't wear white, never did, in fact. The smiles from the walls were no longer there, the eyes in every corner had completely dissapeared. No trace of bears or artificial voices telling him about other people's intentions.

All that was left was a life sentence and years worth of lagoons in his memory, blissfully blank and confused. Still, he managed. He got a job as a janitor, even went out sometimes to meet up with his grandson, but always tried to avoid that good for nothing husband of his.

Those eyes, they looked too lively. Too wild, too troubled for anyone's good

So I was going through some surname headcanons and I have one thing to say: yes Cellbit is technically surname-less (if not taking his merrige to Roier into account) however I have a better propsition:

Do you think that Bagi and Cellbit grew up with stories of their dead grandfather?

Do you think they heard about how he never returned from prison? How he must of died there?

Do you think when they were young, too young to understand, the twins promised they would grow up to be investigators and find their grandfather? Bagi was so close. Cellbit will never know. They kept part of their promise, isn't that something?

Is Cellbit named after his grandfather? They look a lot alike, don't they? Was his first brush with the paranormal trying to reach out for his grandfather?

Did Bagi find two near identical mugshots when looking for her brother? One of them is over forty years old at this point. Did she wonder if her family is cursed in someway?
