Owner: “How Much Will This Cost?”

Owner: “How much will this cost?”

Me: “I will get a treatment plan made so you can see everything and what the total cost will be.”

Owner: “Just tell me. Afraid I won’t pay? I want to do what’s best and I don’t want to waste time.”

Me: “A signed treatment plan is our permission slip to proceed, we have everyone sign them. It takes less than 5 minutes.”

Owner: “Jesus. Fine. But can I just have a guess as to the cost?”

Me: “Without the plan I can’t say for sure. I believe about $800 for everything.”

Owner: “Just do it!”

Me: “Here is the plan, please sign in all the highlighted areas. The total is actually going to be $740.”

Owner: “Yes, yes. Please go help my dog. Here it is all signed.”

Owner at the front desk: “OUTRAGEOUS! I had no clue this would be so much! $740 for basically nothing! I won’t pay. Take me to court of you must!”
