No, but, like, what do they do then? Do the other pantheon gods claim them and send an apology note and be like "Lol, sorry. They took a wrong turn"!?!?!?!?!
Do any of you ever wonder if Camp Half-Blood accidentally brought in a demigod of a different pantheon before?
This would be especially hilarious if it happens sometime after The Last Olympian/Heroes of Olympus, where the gods are required to claim their kids quickly.
A whole day passes, and the new demigod needs to sleep in the Hermes Cabin and Percy is furious. Meanwhile, the Greek Gods are pointing at each other and shouting, contacting the most obscure of mini gods. Chaos erupts on Olympus as every deity in Greek Mythology is called upon and interrogated. Hermes hasn't run around so much in centuries.
Hecate sits in silence, fully aware of what's happening, but enjoying the show too much to intervene.
Oh, yk what else they have in common? So much suffering and them not ending up together:')
I was today years old when I realized Percico has the exact same age gap as Romeo and Juliet.
It means absolutely nothing, but it's neat to think about.
Percy, singing dramatically, clutching his chest: What about us?! What about everything we’ve been through?!
Nico, singing along, melancholically: And what about trust?!
Percy, teary-eyed, reaching for Nico’s face: You know I never wanted to hurt you…!
Grover and Rachel, watching from afar: …
Grover: What the hell are they doing…?
Rachel, nonchalantly: One of the Euterpe kids cursed them and now they’re using it as a way to have a talk about their feelings… Like people do in musicals.
(Nico, hitting a high note in the background: AND WHAT ABOUT MEEEEeeeEeeEeeEEeeE?! 😭)
As a person who has shipped Percico the moment they said Nico likes Annabeth, this is soothing my heart, i can't-
No one attack this post or I will curse you
Nico as Percy's unintended Ace in the Hole. Nico is his secret weapon, able to give him the key to victory when he feels lost or that death is a certainty. Whenever Percy is in danger or destined to die, it's Nico who gives him what he needs to keep going, to survive. He's such a secret advantage that not even Percy knows he has it.
Think about it, everyone just gave up and accepted he would die at 16, Nico didn't. The battle of Manhattan was a lost cause, with them heavily outnumbered, and Nico arrived with Hades and the Cavalry. Nico finds out where the Doors of Death are, he talks up Percy to Bob and he's key in helping him and Annabeth go through Tartarus. Nico is always there, and he's the reason Percy is successful.
And the moment he realizes this, the moment he sees that Nico is his greatest asset, he'll also turn into his greatest treasure. Nico might have fallen first, but Percy definitely will fall harder.
CanNOT wait for Blood Of Olympus jdmsmzkcjfnfjfjfjrj
this was the biggest joke of my life
I was just singing this to one of my fellow Demigods because HE DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THE SONG??? AND HES NOT WATCHING THE SERIES????
Ngl, I get human rights and all, but it's giving Ohio

I'll help alongside dad and be the second hardest shipper. Arghhhh. I need itttt.
The fact that I had expected him to be a lil weirded out by Nico liking Percy but still would have supported him. This one is so much more juicy, jekskxidkemfkdk
Oh, I desperately need this Hades-Percy-dynamic in regards to Nico/Percy though.
This Hades? Who saved Sally Jackson, instead of danging her as a bargaining chip right away?
This Hades? Who offered Percy sanctuary and protection, instead of antagonizing him?
And this Percy? Who accepts the quest to retrieve Hades' helmet for him?
This opens the door to such a positive spin on their dynamic - and now imagine Hades' reaction when he learns that his son is hopelessly, obsessively in love with Percy Jackson?
I need Lord Hades, number one Nico/Percy shipper, captain of the ship, in my life right now.
I think the dead mother / reluctant father figure trope is way too oversaturated when it comes to coming-of-age hero epics.
It's always the father who stepped up but never the mother who stayed.
I just love when a camper tells Percy that demigods can burn their favorite food as offering to their godly parent so they can be heard and he burns the blue candy Sally got him to pray to his mortal mom.
He really was like god of the seas or no, he's a deadbeat.
My human mom would NEVER.
Sally Jackson you truly are singular 💖
And then imagine him going "Oh, wait. Jesus wasn't a God. He was the son of God. WAIT SO ILL5BE JESUS'S UNCLE???"
Waiting for a scene in pjo s5 where zeus declares that as a reward for saving olympus, percy will be rewarded with the gift of immortality, receiving the greatest gift of all-being a god, and in the heat and tension of the moment, percy with blood on his face, torn clothes, trembling, stutters “a-a god? Like jesus?”
sally jackson and annabeth chase solidarity is my favourite thing ever
heroes of olympus - the mark of athena
And yk what I was waiting for? Charon to actually act like the underpaid employee that he is and Percy promising him that he'll talk to Hades about that raise. Which he does.
This is scene would be remembered with fondness.
This was the silliness missing in the episode! Was waiting for it the moment Charon appeared.
But you know what he still did? Blindly trusted that Grover couldn't possibly be the friend who betrays him from the prophecy. It never even crossed his mind that Grover had stood against him even if it was for protecting him. Because, I mean, I don't think any friend would just accept it that easily. Ykwim?
Percy’s face when Sally mentioned Grover playing a role in getting him kicked out of school…
The way his face scrunches up really tight before relaxing? That’s anger.
But not the kind of anger we see in him in the last episode.
This is the kind of anger that makes you cry. The kind that’s underpinned by embarrassment and hurt and feeling like you’ve been treated unfairly.
Percy knows he didn’t push Nancy into the fountain and he thought that, if anyone would have his back, it was going to be Grover. And then he didn’t. And it’s unfair to Percy. It’s Wrong. Because no one believes him, apparently not even his best friend.
And the way he closes his eyes and takes a really deep breath? That’s a tactic that’s literally recommended to stop yourself from crying when you’re angry. It allows your body to “catch up” with your mind.
What do you wanna bet that Percy learned that from a school counselor?
post episode 8 just feeling medically deprived of hearing walker say this
I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT
I CAN JUST HEAR IT WITH A VOICE CRACK RIGHT ON THE SOMEHOW
Everyone talking about how they are the most excited to see Grover in a wedding dress (if/when) we get a second season of the Percy Jackson series. And I understand the excitement for all the giddy moments that are to come from that, as the book is adapted episode per episode :,D. BUT BUT !! I myself am actually more excited to see that one emotional conversation that Percy has with Tyson at the very end of The Sea of Monsters :,). That conversation is so precious to me, and I hope it makes it Final Cut of the series. I want the scene to be brought to life beautifully and accurately.
I want to see Percy go and apologize to Tyson for feeling ashamed and annoyed of having him as a half cyclops brother at the beginning of the book; only for Tyson to tell him that he had asked Poseidon for him.
“You asked Poseidon for… me?”
"For a friend, young cyclopes grow up alone on the streets, learns to make things out of scraps. Learn to survive … Makes us appreciate blessings, not be greedy and mean and fat like Polyphemus …. I prayed to Daddy for help. Soon the people at Meriwether found me. Mey you. Biggest blessing ever. Sorry I said Poseidon was mean. He sent me a brother. ”
I would fall into the pits of hell with you rather than face the thought you might suffer alone. A powerful goddess erased all my memories but she couldn’t make me forget the sound of your laugh. You are my tether to mortality and the hand that saved me from drowning. The first time you kissed me I caused a seismic volcanic earthquake. When I met Aphrodite I thought she looked like you. The divine rulers of this universe fear I might burn down the world if you asked. And I would. Without hesitation. Do you get it? Do you understand?
Thank goodness. I was so scared when I saw the notification with dad's photo that you'd have posted thirsting after him like I did yours. :')
You know what crossed my mind the moment I saw Hades?
He looks like such an awkward dad.
Demigods who made it into their adult years is a fun concept because I'm just imagining a random son of Athena on his late thirties who's like, a Math teacher or something, watching the news about "the storm that was destroying half the country" and seeing through the mist that that's fucking Typhon and seeing his mom and the other gods fighting him and just. Wondering what the fuck did he miss lol
Grover: Oh, you like war? Me too! My favorite part is *commits psychological warfare*
#NETEYAM & #KIRI #TYKTIREY🫶
OH MY HOLY GODDESS SALLY JACKSON, YES! YESSSSSSS, WE NEED THIS. ARGHHHHHH YESSSS
My truest hope for PJO season 2 is that they put Grover in the full bridal saree and not a white gown. Aryan would look quite pretty, i think.
Lmao I just had a whole hour talk about it with @anivynyx yesterday 😭😭😭
Yk the fun thing about reading the pjo books as a child and watching the tv show in your 20s is that you realise 12 is really fucking young for three children to do anything on their own, let alone traumatizing god related shenanigans
*gasp*
I HAD THOUGHT ABOUT THE WEDDING DRESS BUT THE ISLAND OMG YESSSS
personally i think they should make the s2 announcement via video with aryan in a wedding dress, leah in a fancy white dress, and the two of them holding a little guinea pig. yknow. to confuse the new fans.
I just love the use of bestie here😂😂😂
it just occurred to me that nobody bothered to tell Annabeth about Ares and the helm and the bolt since she was in asphodel.
Girl saw her bestie challenge a god to combat with no context a couple hours before her oldest friend tried to kill her bestie. The girl must be confuzzled.
And this all comes down to his fatal flaw, Unwavering Loyalty. Something he's commited his mind to? Baby seal needs to stay loyal to the stuff. Someone he loves needs saving? He's tye strongest. Someone doing something he believes is wrong? He gonna fight because the stuff affects his people too. I just- you get what I'm saying?
pissed off percy is a determined percy. because the second he saw his mom encased in gold and being held captive in the underworld. it was go time. he gained the upper hand on hades in under ten minutes. whooped ares's ass in under three. returned zeus's bolt and told him off like twenty minutes later. and then told kronos to stop being a coward and come find him. no one's fucking do it like our boy.
I do. I want something. I want to come along please. We can also get the people who we actually convinced and weren't gonna take him
Hey I’m going to go beat up the previous school counselor that tried to get Percy pulled out of his school before he even started over a fucking DRAWING and walking on a roof and convinced the principal that Percy was so mentally unwell that the best school in the state couldn’t help him, do y’all want anything?
What are you even supposed to do after thinking about how the two women most important to Percy are paralleled to medusa. This was painstakingly deliberate. What do you do then
just thinking about how percy's plans look like he's actively trying to get himself killed because he doesn't take the time to explain his plans to anyone else because they are time-sensitive. and how annabeth never needs him to explain anything because she can recognize battle strategy from a mile away. and how she knows that percy only diverges from a collective plan when he sees a flaw in it and is about to do something that'll confuse the opponent long enough for them to gain the upper hand. and how annabeth will only take over when she sees a flaw in his plan and guide them back on track. and how percy gives her the space to play on her strengths instead of fighting her over it because he trusts her judgment. and how all of this basically happens wordlessly because they understand each other.
Sally Jackson really said "drop everything now meet me in the pouring rain" and Poseidon answered
I've been mad since 2022 for him being dead beat and the moment he showed up from the random burnt ice cream, I knew I was a goner
I SPENT EIGHT EPISODES SHITTING ON DEAD-BEAT DAD POSEIDON ONLY FOR RICK RIORDAN TO MAKE ME REGRET MY WORDS IN THE LAST TWO. HONESTLY. I AM SO MAD IT IS NOT EVEN FUNNY. FUCK HIM.
AND FUCK TOBY STEPHENS AS WELL LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE SECOND HE WAS ON SCREEN I DID NOT HAVE A COHERENT THOUGHT RUNNING THROUGH MY BRAIN. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT TOBY.
