I know I've said it before but
Mafia AU where Tony likes to keep an arm around Peter, but Peter notices this creates a weak spot so he learns to shoot left handed so he can guard Tony's left while his arm is around his waist
it's just me and my gay fanfics against the world
Do you like enemies to lovers because itâs hot or do you like enemies to lovers because you think of yourself as unlovable & unworthy of love and therefore like the idea of someone seeing all the worst in you right away and still falling in love with you anyways
me reading straight up pornography: hmm⊠this one just doesnât have enough accurate character psychoanalysis to get me off
i can't do this anymore! i mean i can, and i will, obviously. but i can't fucking do this anymore!
Peter blinked and stared. But the image didn't change.
But there Bucky was. One Lego bouquet in hand for him and a different design still in the box.
" It's embarrassing on how long it took me to put this one together. Hoping you would be willing to help with the other."
Peter watching 30s and 40s movies with Bucky because it makes him so happy and he love making Bucky happy, loves seeing him laugh and smile so freely.
Peter watching 30s and 40s movies with Bucky and realizing this is the kind of romantic Bucky is. This is the way he tries to romance Peter. This is how he loves, a grumpy man with a soft heart for the one he loves.
âJesus Christ how old is this kid Tonyâ âI donât know heâs on the young side I didnât carbon date himâ you had that conversation many times didnât you
I'm hopping back on the boat that the spider that bit Peter was mixed with one of the spider that has that glow in the dark/blacklight markings that glow.
So Peter's freckles glow in the right light or glow at night.
I just the love the idea of someone discovering this.
Okay but all I can picture is someone approaching Peter at a party/club etc
" You looking for a Daddy?"
And Peter responded with a
" No, I'm looking for a HUSBAND not a Daddy"
And someone else turns around and speaks up.
" Is that so?"
Bucky chuckled at the remark Steve just said, taking a drag from his cigarette. It's a thing they both do while in the tower. They always stand on their own balconies and catch up.
He was about to speak when the balcony door slid open.
A sleepy " Babe?" came from the doorway.
Bucky turned his head to glance over his shoulder, and he smiled at the sight that greeted him.
A half asleep, Peter, wearing only his large henley, was slowly stumbling his way over. Only one eye partly cracked open to see the other still closed. Peter moves stand behind Bucky and presses his face into his back, wrapping both his arms around his waist.
"Come to bed. I need cuddles."
" Yeah? That's what they call it these days?"
Peter snorts a little and squeezes a small hug, giving Bucky's back a couple of kisses.
" I can give you wild ride in the morning. But I wanna cuddle with you tonight. It's too quiet without you. "
" Aw, Doll. You feelin' soft tonight and want pillow talk?"
Peter laughs a little and pulls away from Bucky to head back inside.
" That line might have worked back in your day but not on me. I'm tired, and I need your snoring to put me to sleep. "
" I don't snore,"
" Sure babe, don't be too long. Night Steve."
" Uh.. night Peter."
The door slides shut again, and Bucky frowns at it before looking back at Steve.
" I don't snore."
Steve raises his hands up in an ' I don't know ' gesture.
" You snored before the war... maybe you're just relaxed enough to... snore again."
" Shut it, punk. If anyone snores, it's you."
" Well, uh... 'babe' when did this happen? Does Tony know?"
Bucky points at Steve after putting his cigarette out.
" Not a word."
And then he opens the sliding door to his room and just as quietly closes it behind him. Steve is left alone on his own balcony, staring at the spot. Bucky just was out.
" Shit "
when i first listened to nobodyâs soldier by hozier i misheard the chorus as âchoose between being a husband or a soldierâ
and if that isnât the most winterspider thing ever
One thing about Starker that always gets me is how they're both huge nerds. Their minds are always racing with ideas and thoughts. To find someone that not only accepts that but revels in it? It's the best feeling in the world.
Also, I love that Peter gives Tony a run for his money. Tony is usually the one pressing everyone's buttons (re: the Avengers) but Peter presses all of his. He has such a big heart and no sense of self-preservation. Maybe Tony sees a bit of himself in Peter, but without the sarcasm he wears as armor.
Peter trying his best to be sexy and seductive but Tony just finds it adorable and gives him cuddles and kisses. The boy is simply too cute and innocent.
âIâm trying to seduce you,â Peter pouts.
Tony smiles and kisses Peterâs hair, cuddling him tightly and speaking into his soft curls. âIâm seduced.â
âHow?â
âYouâve got me wrapped around your little finger, you know that?â
Peter groans. âI want my mouth wrapped around your⊠you-know,â he mumbles shyly against Tonyâs chest, blushing.
Tony laughs softly. âMy what?â
âYou know, Mr Stark.â
âIf you canât even say it how are you going to seduce me?â
âI thought you were already seduced?â
âBy your cuteness,â Tony says softly, kissing Peterâs hair again.
Peter sighs but canât help smiling. Maybe heâs not entirely ready for sex yet and thatâs why heâs not âsexyâ or âseductiveâ, but at least Tony doesnât seem to mind right now. In fact, he seems to love Peter the way he is, and Peter canât really ask for anything more.
When people find out Tony and Peter are dating: Tony is evil he must've groomed that poor boy, is he really okay?
When people find out Steve and Peter are dating: What a beautiful and wholesome couple. Steve must take such good care of him.
Bucky didn't know when he got attached to Peter.
He doesn't know if it's when Peter smiled at him and ask if he prefers James or Bucky or if he had another preference.
He doesn't know if it was when Peter surprised him with a homemade dessert cause he found an account online that explores "vintage" recipes and thought Bucky would know best if it was right or not.
He doesn't know if it was when Sam made a crack at him and Peter ended up tripping Sam, giving him a grin before running off.
He doesn't know if it's when he caught Peter sneaking into his apartment to visit Alpine. And bringing her gifts. It's good to know that it wasn't Alpine stealing cat toys and bringing them home.
He doesn't know if it was when Peter asked if his arm was doing okay and if he needed any maintenance.
He doesn't know if it was when Peter invited him out to conney island.
He doesn't know if it was when Peter asked him to join him when he visited his parents graves, and ended up visiting his own parents and siblings. And Peter had brought beautiful stones he collected to put them on all the graves.
He doesn't know if it was when Peter was pestered him about history. Whether it was a historical event or something as silly as was this around then? Has it change etc?
He doesn't know if it was when he noticed someone else was paying attention to Peter.
He doesn't know what he is going to do.
Third in my series Bucky Barnes meets a cat, two years later
Fast friends đ€
Peter whoâs never really been able to date because of his powers but tried not to talk about it because heâs insecure about it, and finds it embarrassing.
Virgin Peter who canât even remember the last time he was kissed.
Peter whoâs romantically and sexually stunted and knows itâs not healthy to get his emotional fulfillment from rom coms and books but thatâs all he can do.
Peter whoâs so naĂŻve romantically, sexually. He knows of the horrors of this world and the universe but doesnât know when heâs getting played.
Peter who gets so love sick with his crushes. Who yearns so badly, who can act on it for one reason or another but itâs so, so obvious. The wide eyes and loving looks, the sweet softness in his voice.
And the team knows it well by now, the phases of a Peter Parker super crush. The build up, when it hasnât hit him yet but theyâre watching him fall. The âsheâs so niceâ âhe looks different, did he get a haircut?â âHeâs so funnyâ phase. Then the crush itself. The crush that only grows deeper and deeper. The soft sighs, the head on his hand. The puppy dog eyes. The âobsessionâ. Maybe itâs brutal to call it that, but he becomes absorbed. And then the break. He realizes itâll never happen and it breaks. And heâs sad, heâs mopey, little gives him joy. Itâs an honest to god depression.
And when his newest crush is on Bucky, well. People talk. Itâs the talk of the tower. Itâs patronizing towards Peter and he doesnât appreciate it.
Bucky noticed. Sure. Peter got more present. Heâs everywhere suddenly. Heâs sweeter, as if he wasnât already the sweetest thing. Heâs so obvious. Bucky canât not notice it, even if he doesnât acknowledge it more than a soft smile and a kind word.
Peters his friend- heâs all of their friend. And heâs the only one who seems to remember that fact right now.
Itâs tactless, itâs disrespectful and worst of all itâs unkind. And heâs comfortable telling everyone to shut the fuck up about it.
The problem is, Peterâs thing⊠itâs working on him. Not that he can say it.
Buckyâs in the gym. Itâs a hell of a gym in the tower. Sure weights arenât doing a damn thing for half of them, but the facilities are immense. Super-heavy bags that he wonât knock off their stand, expansive facilities for sparring and mobility work and drills. Thereâs also a lovely meditation and yoga room.
And Bucky finally snaps one day in their little meditation circle. Some of them with⊠foggier brains like to meet regularly, meditate and commissariate. Itâs a big group.
And Peter, sweet Peter, walks past the glass walled room on his way to the bags and grins and waves, sweet genuine Peter.
And thatâs when the comments start. And Buckyâs had enough.
âWhere are you going, Barnes?â
âTo ask Peter out and shut everyone the fuck upâ he grumbled.
Peter who is Tonyâs personal assistant - the only personal assistant who has actually stuck through him for more than two years. Prior to Peter, all of Tonyâs past PA(s) were people who had resigned within 24 hours (and left in absolute tears) because they simply couldnât cope with the stress.
Peter deals with everything; handling the older maleâs hectic schedules, enduring crazy ex-partners and slighted flings who show up here and there and hey, heâs had coffee and juice, whatever-you-name it thrown in his face. Before anything even reaches Tonyâs desk, be it an interview request or social invite, itâs strictly screened by Peter first.
He works round the clock basically. Itâs high stress, but the monetary compensation isâŠ.Peter thinks he might be set for life if he keeps it up for another couple of years.
âSo, remember, youâve got that in-person interview with Ms Bellford at 6 today. Iâve screened all the questions, but Iâve got Happy on standby just in case she goes off script and-â
Tony frowns, âYouâre not going to be there?â
âUh-â Peter glances up from his new yet-to-be-released Stark Industries-issued tablet. âI requested for time off for today a month and a half ago. You signed off on it.â
Tony has that particular look on his face which tells Peter that the older male doesnât remember doing anything of that sort.
âTony-â Peter really canât cancel because this is the third time heâs rescheduling this date with a guy heâs sort of hit it off with from a dating app four months ago. âI need to turn up for my date, because my social life is non-existent as it is.â
ââŠyou donât count being with me as socializing? Also, a date? First time Iâm hearing of it.â
âYouâre my boss - I have to socialize with you.â
âOuch.â
âAnd itâs the first time Iâm mentioning it because the previous two dates didnât happen. But it needs to happen today because he seems somewhat decent.â Peter hopes so, at least.
Tony leans back in his chair, âWell, I hope Mr.Decent is taking you somewhere nice.â
âMm, whatever is âniceâ in my vocab would probably be âpeasant-likeâ in yours.â Because Tony has ridiculously fancy taste. âI think itâs some fine-dining Korean restaurant in West Village.â Peter glances at his watch. ââŠand if I want to make a good first impression, I really need to leave.â He gives Tony an imploring look. âUh, would it be too much to tell you not to call me if you donât need me?â
Tony grins at Peter, teasing, âBut I always need you.â
âNot this evening, you donât.â Peter quips. âAnyway, behave, donât terrorize the interviewer, please. She seens genuinely interested in the companyâs progress, so - best behavior, please.â
âSee, thatâs why you need to be there. Iâm always the best version of myself when youâre around.â
âUh huh.â Peter deadpans. âIâll see you tomorrow, Mr.Stark.â

âUhâŠwhat do you mean itâs closed? I thought we made reservations.â Peter asks his date over the phone.
âYeah, a month ago. But someone from the restaurant called me just now and said theyâre closed because of a sudden emergency.â
Peter tries not to feel too bummed. He had been looking forward to dining at the restaurant since they made plans for it.
âOhâŠthen, should we go elsewhere?â Peter suggests.
âWell, itâs a Friday and anywhere else nice is probably fully booked out.â
Peter wonders if this third failed attempt at a date is the Universeâs way of telling him that things with this particular person is not meant to be. Look, heâs not insanely superstitious, but surely it means something?!
ââŠmaybe next time?â
Both of them agree on next time, but Peter thinks thereâs not going to be one. He sighs as he ends the call. Well, he could just order in and spend the night actually resting, but instead, Peter finds himself re-entering the office tower and making his way up to the topmost floor and back to his own personal office (truly a perk)
âSomeoneâs passionate about their job. What happened to a date with Mr.Decent?â Is the first thing that Tony asks when he pops in.
Peter simply sighs, and itâs then that he realizes Tonyâs tie is slightly crooked. He gets out of his chair and closes the distance between them, nimble fingers adjusting the tie to sit nicely.
âThe restaurant had to close all of a sudden. Last minute emergency.â
âA well-prepared man would have made back up plans.â Tony remains still as Peter fusses over him.
âI kinda thought so too.â Peter admits, hands sweeping along the lapels of his bossâs suit jacket. âItâs weird - Iâm disappointed, but Iâm not that disappointed?â He shrugs his shoulders.
âWell. I, for one, am glad.â

Itâs Peterâs third year of overseeing that the Stark Expo runs smoothly, but itâs still as anxiety-inducing as ever. The moment Tony ends his speech, Peter heaves a sigh of relief, knowing that the most important aspect of the expo was over. Now, the attendees would be mingling and networking and Peter could finally enjoy a glass of wine. Or two.
âCan I assume that itâs finally safe to approach you?â
Peter lets out a laugh as he accepts the glass of red wine being handed to him, âFashionably late as always, Quentin.â
âMm, itâs on purpose really. I donât really need to waste twenty minutes of my time listening to Stark stroke his own ego.â
Quentin Beck was one of their biggest competitors to date, and frankly, he was smart enough that it kept Tony on his toes.
âYou look great.â Quentin comes in for a hug which Peter reciprocates. âItâs the third year of you handling Stark Expo, and my third time trying my luck at poaching you for myself.â
Peter had to give it to Quentin for his persistance, âBetter luck next year.â
âIâll keep that in mind. ThenâŠhow about trying my luck for something non business related? Coffee, dinner?â
Peter grins up at Quentin, âAre you asking me out?â He canât deny that that theyâve always engaged in flirty banter whenever they meet.
âMm hmm, and I know thereâs a conflict of interest somewhere, but I truly canât bring myself to give a fuck.â
He nearly snorts the wine up his nose, playfully swatting Quentin on the shoulder. Heâs giving the thought some consideration because Quentin is smart and a looker, and heâa older too, somewhere along Tonyâs age, and thatâs always a plus. But he doesnât get to dwell on it much longer when Tony comes to join them.
He doesnât seem too pleased to see Quentin, startling Peter slightly be resting his hand against the dip of Peterâs back. As if staking his claim over his own personal assistant.
âSorry to interrupt.â He doesnât sound apologetic at all, and Peterâs instantly whisked away before he manages to get a word out to Quentin. âWhat is it? Do you need something, Mr.Stark?â Peter asks, absolutely confused once theyâre quite a distance away from the crowd.
Tony eases his hold slightly around Peterâs waist,â There should really be laws about fraternizing with the enemy.â
âYouâre exaggerating. You know how Quentin is.â
âYes, and I donât like it one bit of how he was looking at you.â
ââŠcareful, Mr.Stark. Your jealousyâs showing.â
Peter waits for Tony to laugh, but it doesnât come.
No way Tony Stark is jealous.
Peter doesnât know what to do all of a sudden, not with his boss staring him down. Heâs self-conscious of their proximity all of a sudden.
âMr.Stark-â
âI donât really take too well to sharing, both professionally and personally.â
