Being an evil doppelganger has to be so fucked up like imagine meeting a better version of yourself. Some chain of events going differently that led to "you" being a better person in a way you can never achieve. Personally I'd have no other option but to try and kill them
say what you will about the side of “evil” but at least we’re hospitable. what do you always see in the antechamber right outside my lair? that’s right, a healing fountain. sometimes some mana potions and a cool sword in case yours broke on the way to my tower. do you think i get that when my dark forces are storming the princess’s castle? think again. i get guards with +2 radiant broadswords rearing to play the “let’s see who can break the geneva convention fastest” competition. un-fucking-believable
The grim reaper was initially illustrated as doing a mundane, regular job that everyone has seen done - a reaper swings his scythe and the hay falls, just as easy as people fall as death swings. Now many people who have never been to a farm only know the scythe as the weapon of Death personified, and farmers in most places of the world don't even use them anymore.
Imagine Death personified as someone doing a modern regular, mundane job. Imagine thinking "hoo boy, this is it for me. The Grim Bin Man is coming to collect, hauling my sorry soul into the trash compactor of his great eternal garbage truck."
i want john to narrate an ocean nature documentary
“OH ORTHER…. that jellyfish… it’s.. massive”
also he’d make everything sound like some hideous sea monster
“it’s fins turn up in knife-like spikes, it’s bulbous eye, protrudes from its head…” (he’s literally just describing a common sea bass)
got possessed by a shitpost my friend shared on discord and drew it in 30 minutes instead of going out to buy eggs
OG under the cut
The more I reread All Systems Red (too much) the more I adore Mensa, expect more of her scenes because she deserves the world.
Religious art leaves out the best part and it’s such a goddamn shame. Livestock, Agriculture and Food is an integral part of any culture and we all need to be pushing for more realistic sheep in religious art. #FATTAILSFORJESUS

can we all collectively agree to not stop drawing murderbot however we want after the show comes out. i KNOW there's gonna be people getting into it through the show and there'll be a lot of art reflecting that which is good and fine and encouraged however i would hate more than anything to lose the diversity of murderbots i see in fanart rn
Sometimes non-binary people in real life look like men. Did you guys know that? did you guys know many people don't have the resources to alter their facial structure to fit into your (eurocentric, by the way) ideal of "androgynous"? did you know some non-binary people have physical traits that are commonly associated with their sex that was assigned at birth. Sometimes they don't have the energy to shave or the money to get electrolysis or the desire to get top surgery or the genes for hormone therapy to make a big difference in their appearances Did you know that when you complain about a non-binary character in fiction looking "like a man" you harm actual non-binary people and let them know you're not safe to be around unless they do a lot of surgery, makeup and hormonal treatments to be what you want them to be. Did you fucking know!!!!
