We’re currently approaching 500 followers, and to celebrate a half-thousand of you making the questionable decision to follow a side blog for a frustrating visual novel app, I’ll be holding a giveaway of some art for one follower.
How it’ll work: I’ll put every entree’s name into a randomiser and DM the winner from this blog and they’ll get a free Choices fanart.
To be in the running you:
Must be following me on this blog.

This is definitely not an excuse for me to procrastinate the art WIP I should be doing. Not at all.

“It’s about damn time.”
Fandom is becoming increasingly toxic and I’m so disappointed, I thought we grew past this shit. Some of ye need to learn that people can have different opinions to you and they should be free talk about said opinions. If it differs to yours you should not label them sexist, racist, homophobic or a general bigot. Absolutely call out stuff that is actual proper harmful bigotry, but that’s not what this was about. This is about petty and harmful behaviour used to silence people. To accuse someone of being that just because their take is different to yours is incredibly harmful. These words hold some power. They’re meant to shame someone and make them reflect on their actions. By throwing it around you’re making that word lose power. You’re making people not care about actual issues because they’ll brush it off like it’s another non-issue wrongfully labelled as problematic.
The idea that “I am right and you are wrong, therefore you’re problematic” (empathising that I mean when this is used in the wrong context) is absolutely ridiculous and if you behave like this- shutting down other people because they don’t agree with your specific narrative- you should probably take a step back until you learn how to engage properly online.
TL;DR: you are allowed to have different fucking opinions on media. Be respectful.
Lu Xin is so exasperated with everyone and it cracks me up.
During federal government shutdowns many national parks are open with the vast majority of National Park Rangers off-duty. Law enforcement rangers will be required to work (but won’t be paid). So if you’re visiting a National Park during a shut down please be considerate to the rangers you see. And please help us. There’s fewer rangers so step in to stop/report quickly any criminal activities you see. Also since most of the staff is out rescues will take longer and take up more resources so PLEASE try to limit taking risks with the understanding that you might have to wait longer for help than usual. Above all please help us take care of the park, last shutdown saw significant increases in vandalism and poaching and we need your help (in lieu of congressional/presidential help) to protect the parks.
A day late, but I care not.
Now let’s go have a ton of chocolate.
Buy them online! Directly from the USPS website! Buy them so my cute and sad five year old can keep sending drawings to the friends that he misses terribly!
The USPS is facing privatization by the GOP greed-mongering idiots, but let me tell you why this is bad
First of all, the postal service is in the constitution. You know, that thing the GOP pretends to care about when it suits them. It’s designed to make communication available for even the poor. It’s the only service that reaches many rural addresses, ALL addresses, in fact, and other shipping services will leave packages to them because of this. It’s the only service that is as cheap. Fifty cents to send a letter across country. The next cheapest service is $13. They are not subsidized or funded by the government, but make money off mailers and advertising and junk mail...and stamps.
This vital service employs over 600,000 people, services every place, rural or poor. If it is privatized, it will be the end of accessible shipping for the lowest class. Make no mistake, it’s not just greed, this is an attempt to take one more thing from the 99%
Buy stamps! If we all do, we can save them!
Reblog and spread the word!
Stamps can also be purchased via phone, online, or even by fax.
We like to be prepared....lol.
All those water guns, I'm dying.
