October 10. Just an Autumn leaf. And some news.
Today was not the best day, and I could not draw things as complex as I wished. Even if procrastination was another factor. I had personal issues, and the next several weeks I will have some work related issues. I hope they dont stop me from drawing, but we will see.
October 9. My attempt at drawing a cat.
So. Today I drew a cat. Not as proud of it as the wolf I drew yesterday. Honestly, the main problem with what I drew was at the very beginning, having redrawn the first steps several times, and getting angry. With the marks of this remaining.
While at the middle stages I was better, by the end I entered in a hurry.
Also, today I procrastinated again. Maybe I will draw another cat tomorrow. Or maybe something different.
Science: "hey if we don't do something about climate change there's a POSSIBILITY of increasingly catastrophic weather phenomena within our lifetimes, as you know a projected worst case scenario we could mitigate, not saying it's happening on any particular schedule but the trends are alarming! New York City will be underwater just like in these dramatized movies about it" Conservatives: "ummm it's not happening exactly that way so obviously scientists were WRONG about what we falsely think they were saying and therefore climate change is not really anyone's fault and can't be averted and won't hurt us so let's do more fracking" Climate: *goes ahead and does that shit anyway but somehow that debate continues exactly fucking the same and probably will for the rest of our shittier and shittier lives*
October 8. One of my last wolf drawings this month
So. I drew another wolf this day. I did one thing differently through. I tried to draw it at a large size.
Overall, I think it is a significant improvement. But even so, it still has some issues with the paws.
October 7. An attempt at drawing a dog.
Today, I drew a dog. It is not the best, but it is better then the three wolves I drew up until now. The more I look, the more I get proud of the improvement...and more dissapointed I get at the bad details.. From now on, I really should try and make my drawings larger. Because it might make them look better at the details.
October 6. A quick drawing of a dog's head.
So. While today I procrastinated somewhat, it was not as bad as yesterday. And I actually made two drawings today. And the first turned out so bad I could not stand showing others. So here is the second one I made. It was stil made in a hurry, but it is still something I can show others.

October 5. Yet another attempt at a wolf drawing.
So. Today I tried to draw another wolf. After procrastinating. And I drew it in a hurry. Still, I think it turned out better then the last two wolf drawings I did, but now that I look, it has the worst coloration out of the three I did, and it still has some other issues with the limbs. But still, I think I am improving.
October 4. A more simple drawing.
So...here is the fourth of my drawings for October 2024. Tomorrow I hope I make something more complex.

October 3. Another attempt at a wolf
So. Today I procrastinated even more, and got really in a hurry with this drawing. On one hand, I am more proud that this wolf seems to have a more...„accurate” shape, if you ignore the head, and a more accurate posture and running motion. On the other hand, the perspective seems off, and the head has its own problems, different then those of my drawing from yesterday.

October 2. My attempt at drawing a wolf.
So. Today I procrastinated just a little bit. Even if I also had some work do.
So anyway, here is my attempt at drawing a wolf. It is...not the best. I did redraw it several times, as can be seen, and by the end I entered a hurry, to get it today. I am not that happy now. The more I look, the worse the position and the shape looks for a wolf. On the other hand, the coloration does not look as bad as it looked to me at the beginning. But I at least did something today.

October 1. Pumpkin drawing.
So. It is October, and I though to myself....I dont draw enough. Personal problems are a reason, but another is that fact that I keep procrastinating. So I decided...what the hell. If I want to improve, I need to draw. So I decided, each day I am drawing something different this October.
Would I actually succeed? Well, maybe if I keep a lot of them simple.
But I am still going to try.
Anyway, here is this pumpkin I drew today. The perspective is not the best, but I am at least proud of it for now.

So. There is some chaos and discussion on what the democratic party in the USA should do. Keep Biden, or replace him with someone else(most likely Kamala Harris).
This is actually complicated, for several reasons. Sure, Kamala is younger, and in a better mental and physical shape and according to some polls she does better against Trump. But on the other hand, according to most polls, she does worse then Biden, the GOP has started their racist and sexist attacks against her, she lack the traditional incumbent advantage(incumbents tend to do better then they are polled to do), and a large part of the centrists and the goldfish swing voters have forgotten how bad things were under Trump.
But whatever the Democratic Party choses to do....please. Just fucking vote blue. If anybody from the USA sees this, vote blue, and save your country from fascism. Just...do this.
If Trump gets four more years he’ll have the chance to appoint 2-4 more justices. That’s thirty more years at least of ultra conservative far right rulings taking away our rights. Look at the damage they’ve done in just the past eight years!

-Project 2025 will happen, and the USA will slide into actual fascism at worst.
-The Environment will be even wrost affected, and all attempts to mitigate the damage the USA does to the environment will be stopped, thus helping bring out a climate apocalypse.
-Worker rights will be ruined even worse in the USA.
-Fascists around the world will be emboldened.
-So much more shit.
And if you think you can fix this with a revolution, do you have any idea how bloody a revolution will actually be? How many people will die in a revolution, and how much a revolution increases poverty? Do you have any conception of the fact that a revolution can actually fail at succeeding and can be squashed by an army?
Do you have any idea how much less damaging and less risky just voting now is?
This AI art thing is becoming so harmful to artists, and not just in the obvious ways. I keep seeing videos of people picking apart art to prove that it’s AI. They point out mistakes that don’t make sense like incorrect folds or abstract backgrounds. While a lot of these are in fact AI, the mistakes they point out are mistakes real artists make too. Sometimes I don’t draw correct folds or anatomy. Or I make a decision that doesn’t reflect reality because it looks better.
As AI art becomes more and more indistinguishable from real art, artists aren’t allowed to make mistakes or take creative liberties that “don’t make sense” anymore. It completely discourages learning. We’re now being told that computers can make mistakes, but humans can’t. It’s not just our jobs or our art being stolen, it’s our humanity too.
