The conversation I wish we would have

His chest was slick with sweat as I shifted against his side to pull the covers up around myself and finally ask the question that had been burning inside me since we had started sleeping together again.

Afraid to possibly face the rejection in his eyes, I pressed a kiss to his cheek before tucking my face into his neck.

“Who are we to each other?”

The hand that had been lazily trailing up and down my spine faltered. I wished I hadn't asked.

We had been strangers, friends with benefits, lovers, each other’s, estranged for a while, friends again, and now- now I didn't know how to label us. Didn't know if he wanted to label us.

To label us would make things real and complicated and messy.

Another moment is stillness and his hand resumed its path on my back.

“You tell me.”

His answer was a non- answer. An avoidance. A turn around.

“You know what I would like is to be. What I want us to be again.”

I shifted again to lean against his chest so I could meet his eyes now.

“What feels like forever ago, we stood in the kitchen, and I told you I had to say the words at least once.”

His hand tightened around my waist as I ran my hand up his neck to hold his cheek.

“I have to say it again. I need to say it again.”

“Then say it.”

“I love you. I am in love with you.”

“I know.”

Break it take that mold you poured me from, that box you put me in will no longer hold me. This life has not been kind to this old stubborn fool but I have gotten back up each time. Today as I lay here admiring the views contemplating my next move your voice is all around me, your message rolling through my head. Rise up and take flight, let go of yesterday's fight. Free yourself from within and accept who you have always been. A beacon of guiding light like the fiery phoenix, you light up the night.

Instead of worrying about it, I have decided to trust fearlessly in the process as it all unfolds. Worrying has no place here anymore. Just faith.

ASTROLOGY FINANCES 101

I've been digging a lot about money and astrology, and most information is pretty basic. They all say to keep an eye on 2h, but this is not enough. So, this is a short summary of things that i've found relevant so far:

2H: yes, your 2h is important. It is the house of value, and therefore, it also includes your income. But this house talks about how you make your regular day to day money, AND your relationship with that money. So, if your 2h is on a fire sign, you will be comfortable making money in risky ways, and you will have a very passionate relationship with your money. Money becomes something exciting, and if you have a job that is not exciting, you will see that reflected. Of course, it is important to know what other planets are there and PLEASE check your house ruler. For example, if you have a 2h Aries, where is Mars on your chart? This will give your a better idea of how money comes to you.

8H: this is the house of shared money, investments, stocks, inheritance. If you have placements in this house, you will probably be interested in investing or making your money work for you. You can receive or work with money that isn't yours too. For this house i think it is not only important to know the qualities of the sign that is in, but the ruler of that sign. For example: if you have a Libra 8h, and Venus on 9h, we could say that could feel a bit insecure about investing even though you like the idea, but through knowledge and information, you can make solid choices and start your path.

11H: this is the house of gains, popularity and social recognition. People with placements in this house are recognized by their community and tend to accomplish their financial dreams. They are wealthy, and it comes without much effort. It is important to see the sign, of course, but also what placements are here. Mercury? Then you will gain through communicating. Venus? Maybe through art or entertainment. Mars? It could be activism and social causes.

North Node: do you have your north node on these houses? If your north node is on the 2h and 8h, you are called to make your financial dreams come true. It is important that you see what aspects and signs are affecting your north node so you can know how to work with it. For example, a 2h Cancer North Node can feel very shy about finances and will struggle taking risky decisions. They want to feel safe first, and this will be majorly important to make money in the right way for them. If they don't feel safe first, money won't come.

Saturn: many people ignore Saturn when is about finances, because saturn is mostly about karma and lessons. But Saturn is also discipline, hard-work, control, and stability in the material world. Saturn in 2h 8h often means that big money will come, but it will come later in life, you will have to go through his lessons firsts. If you have conjuction with Venus or Jupiter, this will give a bit of push to your finances and you won't struggle much, but again, you need to be ready for father Saturn lessons too.

Jupiter: known as a the planet for luck, it can play a big role on finances. Not only check where is located on your natal chart, especially in the 2h or 8h, but also it is interesting if it is on the 10h or 11h. What sign is located in? This can tell you the qualities. For example, Pisces 11h with Jupiter could be manifested as a lot of gains through creative work or spiritual work.

Moon: i'm sorry but the moon is extremely helpful for making daily decisions about money, don't come at me lol do you need to publish your big project or business and you need people to pay attention? Wait for the moon to be favorable, maybe on your 10H, 11H, wait for a full moon. You want personal recognition through your business? Wait for the moon transit your 1H. Get a moon calendar, you won't regret it.

These are just a few basics observations that have helped me on my financial journey. I hope this helps you guys!

Finance Girl Starter Pack

1. Books

You will read books but don’t be overwhelmed by them. Every finance book reiterates the same thing. Understand the difference between personal, corporate, public, and international finance. Hence there are certain I moody to vocabulary for each field. Once you become family with the basics, it will be easier to understand as you go on.

2. Finance media

Being on top of the financial news is a good way of knowing the finance. You’ll come across real life scenarios of some of your textbook definitions. Watch CNBC, Bloomberg. You can read Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Kiplinger. You can also check online sources like Investopedia, Nerdwallet, and some interesting ones that include news on fintech.

3. Productivity & tools

My favorite is Notion. I use it to track assignments and projects, Google Calendar is your friend. Know how to use Google Docs. Play with various tools to figure out which you like best.

4. Skills

Knowing how to use Excel and PowerPoint is a pathway to opportunities. Use YouTube first, then try other classes available on Udemy, Coursera, or eDx. Build up skills in modeling and business analysis. Communication and other soft skills should also be worked on.

5. LinkedIn

LinkedIn is very important to network in finance. Start with a professional headshot. You can connect with industry leaders and corporations you’d like to work for. Create a profile that includes your skills, showcase your financial modeling, dashboards, infographics. Be consistent and engaging.

6. Good business wear

A wardrobe of staple work clothes will go a long way for interviews and busy work days. Two to three blazers ( including tweed), a classic work bag, comfortable shoes, formal dress, and pants. The goal is to be business- professional, business-casual, or business-chic.

Manifesting Money

Remember that money is a tool. It can be used to build many feelings such as confidence, gratitude, and joy. But it's not the source of these things. You are.

Money is like a toothbrush. You use the toothbrush to brush your teeth so they can be healthy which results in what you're actually looking for, a confidence boost.

Notice how both money and a toothbrush are used to get a result but they aren't the focus nor the end goal.

When manifesting money, focus on why you have it. It'll be easier to feel abundant this way.

Personally, I use my riches to invest in my lifestyle, the people and things that I love, and my career. Thinking about the impact my wealth has on my life provides me with a much fuller experience of abundance than simply thinking about a number in my bank account does.

More about the TRAPPIST-1 planetary system

TRAPPIST-1 is an ultra-cold red dwarf star in the constellation Aquarius.

It has:

a mass of about 9% that of the Sun

a radius slightly larger than the planet Jupiter

surface temperature of about 2,560 K (2,290 °C).

It is about 39 light years (12 parsecs) from the Sun and is estimated to be about 7.6 billion years old, making it older than the Solar System.

TRAPPIST-1 is a planetary system. The main object of this system is a dwarf star much colder than the Sun named also TRAPPIST-1 and which I told you about above.

In simplest terms here are the definitions:

Asteroid: a large rocky body in space, in orbit around the Sun.

Meteoroid: much smaller rocks or particles in orbit around the Sun.

Meteor: If a meteoroid enters the Earth's atmosphere and vaporizes, it becomes a meteor, which is often called a shooting star.

Meteorite: If a small asteroid or large meteoroid survives its fiery passage through the Earth's atmosphere and lands on Earth's surface, it is then called a meteorite.

Asteroids

Most asteroids in our solar system are found in the main asteroid belt, a region between Mars and Jupiter. But they can also hang out in other locations around the solar system. For example, some asteroids orbit the Sun in a path that takes them near Earth.

Meteoroids

Space debris smaller than an asteroid are called meteoroids. A meteoroid is a piece of interplanetary matter that is smaller than an asteroid and frequently are only millimeters in size. Most meteoroids that enter the Earth's atmosphere are so small that they vaporize completely and never reach the planet's surface. When they burn up during their descent, they create a beautiful trail of light known as a meteor, sometimes called a shooting star.

Meteorite

If any part of a meteoroid survives the fall through the atmosphere and lands on Earth, it is called a meteorite. Although the vast majority of meteorites are very small, their size can range from about a fraction of a gram (the size of a pebble) to 100 kilograms (220 lbs) or more

Summary

In short, the difference between asteroids and meteors all comes down to a question of location. Asteroids are always found in space. Once it enters an atmosphere, it becomes a meteor, and then a meteorite after it hits the ground. Each are made of the same basic materials – minerals and rock – and each originated in space. The main difference is where they are when they are being observed.
