Can you believe it? Two whole years since What Remains was created, two whole years of production! It’s great to see.

We’ve been busy slowly chipping away at the story and many huge alterations have been made! One important change to note is that we’ve removed the aspect of trials, in part due to a lack of ideas and to improve the plot.

Chapter 1 is still in the works. We’ve had to workshop a lot with all of the modifications and but progress is steady! In fact, here’s a little teaser of one of the scenes.

We’re aiming to finish storyboarding soon! We can’t promise Chapter 1 will come out this year, but we hope that 2025 will be more eventful for the comic. We appreciate your patience with us as WRos enters its third year of production!

What Remains is encouraged to be taken by a mature 14+ audience, due to its dark themes and horror-centric nature.

Many years after a war tore itself through Passern, objects had finally found a sense of normalcy as the war was left behind as distant history.

This was until an ad found itself advertised all over Passern and its provinces. A survey, with a promise of 10,000 dollars to whoever signed up for it. While suspicious, many desperate objects across the country signed up for a chance at a life changing reward.

Only 20 passed into the next phase.

Yet, not even a week later, these same 20 mysteriously disappeared and found themselves waking up in a vast forest. A mysterious voice spoke to them, calling themselves The Auditor. Yet no one could see them. they were a voice in the wind. A voice within the trees and foliage..

What Remains follows 20 objects as they try to navigate the seemingly endless forest they are now lost in. Full of twisted creatures and unknown dangers, survival is difficult. The Auditor provides these “contestants” with tasks, called Trials, for a chance to win aids in survival. Tensions are rising, escape feels futile and soon, monsters that lurk in the shadows aren’t the only danger to contestants.

However, one question lingers in their minds…

What will remain of them when this is all over?
