when you hear the premise of saiki k is "a loner boy with amazing psychic powers is constantly hounded by people desperately wanting to be his friends" its easy to assume that its because they think his powers are awesome, but... they dont even know about his powers. they just all love his autism swag so much that theyll start crying and screaming and throwing up if hes not around

I was looking at Shin and Keiji's wiki pages and I saw something kinda funny.

In Shin's relationship section, with Keiji there's the line "If Sou lives in chapter three, upon the prospect of Keiji's execution at the banquet he becomes upset, yelling about how Keiji can't die, possibly referring to the fact that he wants to kill Keiji himself."

But on Keiji's wiki page under the relationship section with Shin it says "If Sou lives in Chapter Three, upon the prospect of Keiji's execution at the banquet he becomes upset, yelling about how Keiji can't die, implying that he cares for Keiji somewhat despite the fact that he voted for Kanna in the second main game. Keiji seems unsure of how to receive Sou’s outburst and says nothing."

It's funny as fuck to me, because one says "I want him dead" and the other just says "I want him" and the difference made me reread the pages and laugh.

But it's also interesting because the relationship between these two is so weird and complex and the people writing these had two different ideas on their dynamic (that could coexist yes, but only in fanfiction).

I also want to add the fact that both pages reference Shin's yelling about Keiji not being allowed to die, then he trails off with no more context because honestly, what the fuck was that dude? Happy pride month to these two weird grown ass men.

So like, I saw a meme of Dio being a nightmare housewife. I think it was on Tumblr, actually. And my brain filled in the rest. Except I forgot to draw the nightmare housewife part and just drew them in love.

Fellas, I don't know how to defend myself with this one. I think I'm just mentally ill.

another stupid jotahan headcanon:

rohan would absolutely love the fact that jotaro’s favorite color is, canonically, transparent. rohan’s an artist, he always asks his dates about their favorite color, and definitely judges them way too harshly based on their answer. someone says something simple like “blue” or “red”? too boring for the artistic mind of the great rohan kishibe. but if they get too poetic or dramatic about it and say something like “the color of the sky as the sun is rising over the sea”? too pretentious, and they probably think they’re more creative than him, which is obviously impossible.

so there he is, sitting across a table from jotaro at tonio’s restaurant on what he’s pretty sure is a date, and he asks, “what’s your favorite color?”

there’s a pause as jotaro’s brow furrows and he seems to be genuinely considering the question. that’s a good sign.

eventually, the gruff response comes. “transparent stuff, i guess.”

rohan blinks while he processes this answer, makes sure he heard it right. it’s a stupid answer, really. completely absurd. right? oh, but it’s interesting, and that’s what rohan really cares about. he wants to know more about the inner workings of the mind of a man whose favorite color is transparent.

that’s why they work so well together. jotaro is used to being an outsider, a misunderstood loner. then rohan comes along, sees all the things that make him weird and different to most people, and instead of trying to change him, he says, oh, this is delightful, and i want to know more of your wonderful mind

i’m desperately trying to find a way to communicate the headcanon that jotaro and rohan’s love language is bugs without sounding completely unhinged

we’ve got these two sides of the same coin— they’re both highly intelligent and curious, independent and antisocial, obsessed with their work, and full of repressed trauma from their younger years, which all makes them both pretty awful at communicating their feelings. however, jotaro is a biologist who would understand the ecological importance of bugs and therefore if one was in his house, he’d try to catch and release it outside, while rohan is a known bug-killer for his artistic research. but when they get together and start spending more time in each other’s spaces, rohan gets tired of being lectured on ecosystems every time he stabs a bug, so instead he starts catching them between paper and a glass cup the way jotaro showed him, and bringing them to jotaro to identify and tell him all about its biology, why it has that many legs, why its eyes are placed there, what it eats, how its lifecycle works. it’s actually way more enlightening than just killing it to observe its death. eventually jotaro starts bringing the bugs he catches to rohan’s studio and watching while he draws them, fascinated by the way rohan records them with an artist’s eye that’s so different from his own clinical way of observing the world.

it might not look like a grand gesture from the outside, but they both get it. it’s saying, i respect you enough to not hurt something you care about and i trust you enough to hand over this delicate thing to you. because can be hard to say “i love you” out loud, but it’s pretty easy to say, “hey, i found this cool bug and thought you’d like to see it.”

so yeah. jotahan’s love language is bugs. thanks for coming to my ted talk.
