If you really think about it, history doesn't repeat itself, it sells remakes of the same story over and over again and won't stop selling it until we stop buying it.

If this actually happens you are supposed to take your friend to poison control/the hospital, once they're better you take them to therapy.

If they were truly your friend you would take them to the hospital and/or call poison control (Thank you @parttimepunner for the list of numbers, you have done a good thing) you would at least try to save their life by bringing them to the hospital instead of making them suffer until they take their last breath.

The right things aren't always easy to do, if you truly considered that your friend dying is a bad thing and if you truly could make sacrifices for them then you would have called either the hospital and/or poison control already and have been going to the hospital trying to comfort your friend as the paramedics (Thank you @oneshoeshort for saving lives) try to save them.

No more buts, no more cuts, and no more friend if you don't act quickly and call one of the numbers and if you need to ruin your day/night even more by letting your friend live.(Again, thank you @parttimepunner for the list of numbers and @oneshoeshort for saving lives)

There's no need to make their suffering worse by ruining the rest of them and making their suffering worse.

You know it's bad when Dream calls you a bad person, right? But if he says that he hates you it's much worse, because in canon he literally cannot hate people from his soul, so he literally broke his own soul because of how horrible you are.

What if Nightmare got shoved in a tub of water, would he be able to be passive again for a short amount of time or would he just corrupt the water or would he melt in it, because if that was the case what if he fell into a river? He would probably struggle to even get out in one piece, he probably would never be whole again and just be like, "Where am I!?" On the surface or in waterfall, he's super tiny just trying to get back to the castle and trying to find the rest of him.

What if Nim actually tried to have a relationship with her sons? Would the corruption process go faster or slower? Nim hated mortals but she would never want either one of the brothers to eat the apples, would try to comfort Nightmare or would she belittle him for crying and not being strong enough to protect the tree?

What if Neil met Nightmare? Would he like Nightmare the same as Dream and take him under his wing or would Neil be rude like he was at first to Dream? Would Neil go willingly to meet Nightmare at Dream's request? Would they bond over the fact that the village hates the both of them and they love Dream (as a brother or son that you lost)?

I’m a sucker for Good Dad Splinter ever since I watched TMNT ‘03. That rat was gifted sapience and his immediate instinct was kindness. I love that for him.

Rise Splinter lived a rollercoaster of a life, but as a Hollywood star he remembered the names of all his stunt guys and coworkers, and as a prisoner he cared for the rat that shared his cell. His sons are very close and physically affectionate, I think that says something about how he cares? That’s just how I like to headcanon him :)

It’s interesting to explore the idea that a seemingly monstrous transformation is what pushed him to be a kinder human
