I’ve read a few stories about the not-deer cryptids of the Midwest, and decided to post this video I took last summer. I was riding a mini bike, and saw a deer in a field nearby. I whipped my phone out to take a video, but a few seconds into filming it, you can hear my voice crack. This Thing was not a deer. There were not enough joints. Or was it too many? It’s ears were too big, and it’s face looked like it was deformed severely. It’s eyes also faced forwards, something usually only found in predators. It walked strangely, and it’s neck was too long, accompanied by a body way too big for it. Directly after taking this video I jumped back on the mini bike and rode away at full speed. It still makes stomach sink when I think about it.

so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god

I Belong to You // Yandere Reactions.

How would yandere Bakugou, Dabi, Fumikage, Izuku, and Kirishima react to their darling developing Stockholm Syndrome and her devotion showing when somebody finally shows up to rescue her?  

Bakugou had finally been happy. It had taken so long and so much work, but your life together was so…perfect. His darling was finally settled down and he finally felt at peace. Maybe that peace was what caused this. Maybe he had gotten lax or lazy or something.

And maybe that was how this had happened.

Somehow or another, some wannabe hero had found out about everything. Bakugou stalking you so many years ago, your unsolved disappearance, all of it. They had managed to track down your new home, waiting until Bakugou’s guard was down to finally strike. He’d been in bed with you, sleeping soundly, when the shattering of the heavy door rang through house. Bakugou quickly bounded out of bed, bare feet pressing to the cool floor, as he urged you to stay there.

“Katsuki-”

“I’ll be fine,” he snapped quickly, “so do as you’re told.”

He rushed out of your bedroom, leaving his darling behind him and finding someone new in front of him. Upon seeing this stranger standing in his hallway, Bakugou assumed a battle stance and shouted out,

“Who the fuck are you?!”

“Me?” He laughed, “I’m a hero and you’re a liar.”

And then the story spilled out. The accusations, the details, this little hero knew everything that Bakugou had ever done. The violent attacks on rivals that had gone unsolved, the disappearance of a young girl and even a few killings, the little things that didn’t add up about Bakugou…Between kicks and punches and deafening explosions, everything came out.

“I’m going to take you down! I’m going to take her away from you!”

“No!”

Bakugou hadn’t noticed you leave the room, neither of them had. They’d both been too lost in their battle to see you standing there. But in an instance, you had attacked the intruder from behind, knocking him clean out with a several heavy blows. You brought down the metal table lamp again and again until he was out…and the house was finally silent. And for a moment, Bakugou was simply stunned. He didn’t even bark at you for disobeying him as he often did, he didn’t care about that at all. And with tears in your eyes, you forgot about the unconscious man and threw yourself in your husband’s arms.

“Katsuki! Are you okay?!” You asked him.

“I’m…I’m fine.”

“I’m sorry I didn’t listen! But I heard what he said…he was going to take me from you…and I was so scared, Katsuki!”

Tears streamed down your face as you pulled away a little, looking into Bakugou’s blood red eyes.

“I don’t ever want to leave you.”

And just like that, Bakugou knew that he had won. He’d won the fight and, even better, he’d won YOU. He had successfully broken you down and built you into his perfect little darling, devoted and loyal and loving…and he couldn’t be happier. Ignoring his bloodied lips, he kissed you passionately again and again, whispering to you in a gruff voice in between kisses.

“No one can ever take you from me.”

“You belong to me, baby.”

“I’ll NEVER let that happen.”

He means it. Bakugou’s reaction is going to be a determined one. He’s going to clean up this mess and fix EVERYTHING, starting with this pathetic whelp. And once this was all taken care of, Bakugou just might reward your love with a bit of his own.

Dabi wasn’t expecting this at all, any of it. How could he have expected such a mess? For the past few years, everything had been quiet and perfect. You had been perfect. A well behaved little slut. So this attack had blindsided him completely.

He had never seen it coming.

Which was utterly embarrassing for him, and a little dangerous for you both. It was pure coincidence that a League meeting was so rudely interrupted by a Pro Hero and his newly graduated sidekick. The coincidence grew twice more, once because you were simply there, sitting by his side. He DID like to show you off at meetings, even having the occasionally bit of fun. But there had been no fun tonight. When the heroes burst in, Dabi had protected you from the debris of brick and rock. Then he dragged you away to another room, quietly hissing for you to stay put and to stay quiet.

And then he returned to the fight.

It was vicious and violent and Dabi was fighting with everything that he had…until he saw the little sidekick sneaking away, heading towards the room he’d hidden you in. Fear bubbled up in his chest as he quickly rushed after him, bright blue fire following his every step. You’d been sitting quietly in the corner, expecting Dabi to burst in and take you away any second. He didn’t. The coincidence grew for the last time, as this sidekick had been your classmate. Your friend.

He found you there, wearing a little black dress that exposed your bruises and burns and the name so carefully burned into your soft skin: DABI.

“Y/N!”

He ran to you, only to be stopped by a furious Dabi. The villain grabbed him, throwing him down hard and tossing a heavy punch. The fight that ensued was brutal one but it ended with Dabi on top of the little hero, kneeling on his back and pining him to the ground.

“Y/N!” The hero cried out, “Run! I’ll take care of him!”

And you laughed. They were both shocked, watching as you stood up and adjusted your dress, exposing Dabi’s name a little more. Affectionately, you touched the burns and looked at your former friend with a small smile.  

“Why would I do that?” You asked. “Why would I ever leave Dabi? I love him.”

Your confession was enough to stun your former friend for a minuet, allowing Dabi to knock him out and stand up, grabbing you harshly. As you pulls you into his arms, he can’t stop himself from smiling and stealing a deep, hot kiss from your lips.  

“That’s my girl.”

Dabi’s reaction is sick pride. He’s absolutely proud of you, proud that you’re finally and fully his devoted little slut. And he’s going to reward you. The second Dabi gets you safely at home, he’s going to throw you to the bed, burn off that little dress, and fuck the daylights out of you. He’ll kiss you and bite you and give you a little heart shaped burn as a present, all while loudly proclaiming his LOVE for you.  

Fumikage had thought that everything was perfect. And to him, it truly was. The bits and pieces of his life had finally come together and he was happier then he’d ever been before. You had finally accepted your place as his darling and he couldn’t have been more overjoyed with it.

So, of course, everything had to suddenly go wrong.

Fumikage wasn’t sure what mistake he had made along the way (he always made a point of being careful…had he missed something?) or how this had even happened. But somehow, a some point, he must have left something behind. A crumb, a clue, something that had simply gone unnoticed by him…but not by someone else.

Not by him.

Staring at his friend and former classmate, Fumikage knew that everything he loved was on the line. His career as a pro hero, his reputation in the community, his life with you. He could lose all of it in only a matter of moments if he didn’t play his cards correctly.  

“You’re a monster!”

The words were spit our with cruelty, making Fumikage flinch. But he didn’t take his eyes off of his opponent nor did he move, knowing that you were right behind him. It had been a quiet afternoon at home when this intruder burst in, leaving you shaking behind your now husband. He couldn’t let anything happen to you. He couldn’t let you be taken from him.  

“I know what you may think,” Fumikage said quietly, “but you don’t know the whole story.”

“I know enough to see you for what you are! I’m taking her and-”

Who knows what he had been going to say. Because, though it was during his weaker period, Fumikage still attacked with everything he had. Not because he wanted, no, but because he HAD to. He couldn’t watch his love be stolen away from him without doing anything about it! Fumikage couldn’t lose you! It was a brutal fight, the worst Fumikage had ever faced. It was taking all of his strength and skill just to keep his head above water and, for a moment, it seemed like he was failing.

Like he was LOSING.

Fumikage heard you shout his name, your voice filled with desperation and fear. Then he heard something else: a loud, sickening crack. And for a moment, he was still stunned. His head buzzed painfully as you rushed to him, pulling him into your arms and resting he head on your lap.

“Fumikage? Are you okay?”

His eyes roamed the room. Furniture was strewn around, tossed and wrecked in the fight. His foe lay unconscious on the floor. And a broken table leg lay next to him. He quickly realized what had happened and looked up at you.

“I am. I’m okay, darling.”

“Oh, thank goodness!” You cried out, quickly kissing his beak.

“I was so scared! When he said he was going to take me from you, I just…I couldn’t let that happen! I could never leave you…”

Despite how horribly this quiet day at home had gone, Fumikage was still happy. His reaction is one of soft, sweet joy. He DOES see himself as a monster for everything he’s done, he’s disgusted by his yandere side. But to know that you still love this monster…well, it’s a good feeling. Of course, he still has a mess to clean but afterwards…he’ll throw himself into your love, never, ever wanting to leave it behind.

Izuku was FINALLY happy. His dreams had finally come true and he was the happiest yandere that ever lived!! And how could he not be? He was a hero, beloved by all but especially by YOU. His lover. His darling. His wife. You were so well behaved now, so sweet and loving…and Izuku had been SO happy.

Until HE had ruined it.

It had been years ago, back in his UA days, when Izuku had taken you away from your friends and family and your stupid little boyfriend. He’d since forgotten about his former rival but it seemed as though Kentin had not forgotten about him…or you. Izuku had returned home to your horrified screams and had acted immediately. He followed your cries of fright through the house, each quick step bringing him closer to his darling.

“Let me go! Get OFF!!”

“Y/N!”

He ran to you, finding you struggling with…Kentin. It had been years since he’d seen the boy but he still knew him. How many times had Izuku watched you together? Kissing and cuddling and so much more…he hated him them and he hated him now. Grabbing your ex by the shoulders, Izuku threw him off of you and swooped you up, pulling you safely into his arms.

“Oh! Izuku!”

“It’s alright, honey, I’m here now.”

“Honey? Honey? Is that what she is to you?” Kentin stood up shakily, glaring at Izuku with venom. “Not your captive? Your slave?”

“Shut up!” Izuku snapped, pushing you behind him.

“You stole her! You’re a monster!”

“I love him!”

They both stopped. Though you were safely hidden from Kentin’s eyes, he could still see your hands wrapping around Izuku, grasping his shirt with tight fingers. Upon reflex, Izuku’s hands immediately went to yours, holding them softly.

“It’s not Izuku’s fault, none of this is is! He’s just…passionate. And loving! And brave! And I’m not going to leave him!!”

It was so beautiful that one would almost assume that he had trained you to say it. After all, Izuku had taught you to do and say many wonderful things over the years but this…this was better. This was REAL. This was you WANTING him and LOVING him and, oh, it was lovely!! With an overjoyed smile across his face, Izuku lifted your hand to his lips and gave it a sweet peck.

“Go hide, honey, I’ll take care of this,” he whispered softly, “I’ll come get you when it’s all over okay.”

You run away, leaving Izuku and his rival all alone. He probably should have taken care of this years ago but…whatever!

He’ll do so right now.

Izuku’s reaction is a mixed up, messed up kind of reaction. Half of him is more proud and in love then ever. You defended him! You refused to leave him! YOU LOVE HIM!! But the other half is furious that anyone would ever try to take you from him. To you, he’s going to be extra loving and extra sweet but to his rival…well, like I said. Izuku is going to take care of him. Quickly. Painfully. And all with a smile on his face.

Kirishima had been lost in total bliss. And who could blame him? The past couple of years had definitely been difficult but…everything was so lovely now. YOU were lovely and sweet and so, so in love. All that difficulty seemed so terribly worth it.  

But this…this is the most difficult thing your love had brought him.

How come life always had to give you a gut punch just when things were getting good? Kirishima had been able to score the tow of you a long, romantic vacation, something he had always dreamed of but never managed to get. First he was busy training you and then he was busy being a pro hero! But he had finally manged to get the time to take you away and everything was just perfect.

Until it suddenly wasn’t.

Who would have known that a friend of yours had finally discovered the truth? Who would have thought that you would be followed to your secluded vacation home, just to be so cruelly confronted? Now Kirishima was forced to face off with a friend, having no choice but to defend his love.

“You’re crazy!” He shouted, dodging one attack and throwing out his own.

“Me?! I’M the CRAZY one?! Think of what you’re doing to Y/N!! Locking her away, spying on her, keeping her away from everyone who cares about her!”

“She doesn’t need anyone else,” Kirishima snapped, “I care about her! I love her!!”

“No. Your obsessed with her!”

Kirishima was losing. But he couldn’t! He couldn’t lose this fight! What would happen to you if he did?  Blood was spit from his mouth as he struggled to fight, taking hit after hit but refusing to back down. Thoughts of you flashed through his mind, your sweet smile as you looked up at him, cuddling with you on the couch, you saying his name…

“Kiri!”

He hadn’t imagined that. And he wasn’t imaging you as you lifted up a heavy rock from the sand and bashed his opponents head in. There was a disgusting thud as they fell, the rock falling with them. And then you were running to his side, taking his hand in yours.

“Oh my god! Are you okay, baby?”

“I’m…I’m fine. I’m alright, babe, I’m good.”

And he was. Sure he was pretty beat up but…did that really matter right now? His heart was soaring with joy as Kirishima reached up, softly stroking your face.

“I love you, Y/N. So, so much…i can’t believe you did that for me.”

“Why wouldn’t I? I couldn’t let you get hurt! I love you too much to let such a thing happen, Kiri.”

Kirishima’s reaction is a love filled, over joyed reaction. Once he finishes dealing with the mess he’s made, he’ll go right back to enjoying your vacation. It’ll be romantic and wonderful and perfect…but nowhere near as perfect as you!

What is omegaverse?

What is omegaverse?

Omegaverse is an AU that sprouted from ideas originating in werewolf fanfiction. In the omegaverse, humans have wolf-like traits and take on one of three main dynamics: Alpha, Beta and Omega. These are sometimes referred to as a “secondary sex” as opposed to the “primary sex” male/female/other.

Alphas:

Tend to be leaders. They are protective and can be aggressive. They have a tendency to be easily swayed by emotion. They will not allow harm to come to their mates or loved ones. They are often naturally talented and/or charismatic, as well as strong. They can often be seen in positions of leadership. Alphas tend to be larger than betas and omegas. Alphas can be intimidating. They have what is called an “alpha voice” that can be used on betas and omegas which makes them more likely to obey.

Alphas can impregnate female betas, female omegas, or male omegas. Female alphas can not become pregnant, and if they do, likely cannot carry to term. Female alphas have a retractable penis and internal testicles. Alphas have the ability to form a “knot” to encourage pregnancy during mating. If this occurs, partners are stuck together until it goes away.

Betas:

Are the most common dynamic. They tend to have to become the peacemakers, being more emotionally stable than the other two dynamics. Betas are very versatile, and vary a lot from one to the next. They sometimes struggle under the shadow of alphas who seem to have an easy time excelling. However, due to their large numbers and their ability to more easily remain rational, they are in the majority in many places of work. Betas tend to be smaller than alphas, but larger than omegas. Betas are most similar to a regular human, with the males being able to impregnate others and the females able to become pregnant. Male betas can impregnage female betas, female omegas, or male omegas (the same dynamics that alphas can).

Omegas:

are able to become pregnant regardless of their primary sex. Omegas have a natural insitinct to nurture and have a tendency towards being submissive. Omegas go into heat at regular intervals, which causes alphas to become somewhat irrational around them. Because of this instability they cause and because of their reduced productivity during these times, omegas are (in some universes) seen as being inferior. They are sometimes underestimated. Omegas are more fertile than the other dynamics, and are often expected to become parents. Omegas are typically smaller than betas and alphas. Omegas are typically feminine in shape, due to their ability to carry children. A male omega’s body self-lubricates during heat/mating in order to facilitate mating.

Pups: Babies. Commonly between 1-3 are born at once.

Rut: in some universes, alphas experience rut regularly. This is similar to an omega’s heat, and causes them to want to mate. An omega’s heat can also cause an alpha to go into rut.

Presenting: when a person’s dynamic finally becomes apparent (usually during puberty or the teenage years).

Nesting: the trait of building a bed out of soft objects and one’s/one’s loved one’s things, typically seen in omegas.

Feral: to turn wild and animal-like, usually as a response to extreme stress. It is most commonly seen happen to alphas, then omegas, and less commonly to betas.

Slick: usually referring to the lubrication that is naturally created inside male omegas during heat or arousal.

Scenting: the act of rubbing one’s scent on another person or thing. It is seen as a very intimate act when done between partners, and is used to mark something as associated with the one who marks them. Scent glands are located on the back of one’s neck, behind/under the ears, and on the wrists. (Position may vary slightly from universe to universe)

Bonding: to bite a partner on the back of the neck, officially marking them as your partner. Alphas can do a bonding bite on any other dynamics. Betas can do a bonding bite on omegas or other betas. Omegas cannot do this bite. Bonding is an emotional experience that connects two people for an extended time. The mark from a bonding bite is long-lasting (and in some universes, permanent) so long as it was done by a dynamic that is capable of it.

Soul bond: in some universes, soulmates exist. A soul bond is the strongest bond.

what are some really important pointers you have for people who want to make animatics?

this is probably gonna be a bit long so just a heads up i guess?? also please note im not a student for anything in art and am not a professional i’m just giving out my opinions on this and things based on my own experience.

do thumbnailing 

you don’t always have to start it with the actual frame and the drawing for thumbnailing doesn’t have to be good. this is just to let you have a feel of what you want for the final frame. it also doesn’t have to be digital you can just doodle it in some paper you found lying about. this is also good for parts of your animatics where there’s lots of movement(like dancing!) 

thumbnailing is also good for parts where you have multiple ideas! doodle all your possible ideas and see which one is best for that scene

perspective/angled shots

these are super cool and can help with the atmosphere of the scene! for example:

they also just look really nice and interesting and fun

landscapes and backgrounds

you can’t always have just a bunch of people gathered around all in one frame, you gotta show the setting of the whole thing

this also allows for your characters to move around more! don’t always make them flat like this though(this doesn’t mean you can’t do this, just don’t do it all the time)

grab a ruler or if you don’t have one like me, zoom out completely and try to make straight lines(they don’t rlly have to be perfectly straight though! but don’t make them too slanted either)

and if you have sai, free deform it and set the perspective to 100% and then just mess around with it!

also remember to add buildings/furniture/etc if needed!!

do dynamic poses

these help the facial expressions of the character! a lot of people seem to just concentrate on just the face for emotion but body language is also important!

you can throw in some perspective into this as well!

make a LOT of frames

as mentioned above, movement is very exciting!! and you can show movement with those frames. it doesn’t even have to be a lot of movement like one second they were there and now they’re in an entirely different spot, subtle movement is also very good! 

try not to reuse the same frame too much! it might end up looking very awkward 

also try not to just erase and add things to the body of a character as if it were some kind of paper doll stuck to a wall like this:

it’ll end up looking very stiff and awkward. instead, just redraw the character completely! make them move around a bit

you don’t always have to make things super clean

you don’t have to do clean lineart, just doodle a frame and make it easy to read for everyone on what’s happening. especially because drawing hundreds of frames is already so time consuming and not to mention stressful. do yourself a favor and not tire yourself out more than you should.

Disassociation, numb dissconected indifference. Hey, touching my body is fine if I’m not in it, right?

What you should do:

1. Ask to touch me first

2. Don’t lunge for a hug like you’re entitled

3. Don’t get in my space if I don’t know you

4. Fucking listen when I say no, if you know what’s good for you and you like your bones where they are
