On this day twenty years ago, Rose Tyler tried to find out more about the mysterious man known as the Doctor by googling "doctor". Iconic shit.
Today I learned about an incredible artist named John Conrad Berkey. He created cover art for many science fiction books, and also created artwork for NASA! But he’s most famous for his incredible Star Wars illustrations.
George Lucas actually bought several John Berkey science fiction illustrations and used them to help pitch Star Wars to studios. And many of Berkey’s pervious artwork was used as inspiration for Star Wars’s visuals.
Berkey was later commissioned by LucasFilm to create posters for Star Wars, shown below:
"Berkey's imagination and expressionistic style quickly set him apart from other sci-fi illustrators. From a distance, his paintings appear very exacting and perfectly rendered. But upon closer inspection, they reveal a beautifully loose and freely abstract style."

Rare flint with their hair down :O
I like to think I am smart but I think I would fall for multiples of these.
I am the person who is convinced that me and my clone would be best buddies- provided they don't get an existential crisis and kill me on sight and provided we are similar enough. (I don't think I would kill them because of scientific curiosity and then we would become besties).
I would possibly excuse the murders in the house.
if I got bit by a zombie and stuff was hectic enough and I had too much on my mind I could actually forget.
I would also possibly go into the castle.
Would also summon a demon with my besties if it looked fun enough but I also do tend to be the "uh guys" one so that's 50/50
Just joined. lmao
thank u google thats exactly what i was looking for, not how many days she has been the prime minister of the united kingdom, her height in picometers. you can read my mind, google, its uncanny
HEARTBREAKING: band you just discovered doesn't have any other songs that sound like that
thinkin about a baby of my acquaintance & how when her parents are hanging out & chatting, she’ll almost fully participate in the conversation–politely watching who’s talking, saying something approx the same length & tone of what her parents are saying, occasionally using a questioning cadence & looking at someone specific for an answer, laughing when they laugh–doing everything except actually using any recognizable language
a very sketchy flint :)
parallel, they/he, inconsistent art style/ constantly experimenting
