Good morning peeps. Hope youβre having a great morning. Make your self some coffee, tea, hot chocolate or whatever you like to drink in the morning. Eat some breakfast, even if itβs just a small bite. Have a great day.
some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, βwhatβs the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?β and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is βunofficialβ, and we know thatβs not the right word, but itβs the only word we can come up withβ¦until finally itβs like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is βartificialβ.
Iβve decided 6 am is my bed time
Β Β Β Stormcalling is a very old category of weather magic which is used with the intent of creating, summoning and controlling storms. There are many methods for carrying out this act, but one of the simplest forms of Stormcalling is to simply whistle. One long whistled note imitates the sound of the wind itself, and the witch can visualize the blowing winds and coming storms while producing the sound in order to enact their will on the weather.Β
Β Β Β Some witches will also use the same method, but gently blow air from their mouths instead, which may be useful in situations where you may want to summon the wind or call a storm but would draw unwanted attention by whistling aloud. You can experiment with the tone and harshness of the note, perhaps using higher, sharper notes to manipulate harsher winds and storms. Varying tones can be used to demonstrate changes in the wind as well, starting loud and harsh and becoming soft and low in order to slow the wind and calm the weather.

itβd be so cool to justβ¦ make it rainβ¦ for dramatic effect. So now Iβm gonna learn weather magick and make some kind of spell that requires only words, and Iβm gonna whisper it before falling to my knees and sobbing loudly

if you want to get the full experience of understanding what youβre reading on witchblr, close read it.
yβall can look at the picture below and get what i mean, but iβm going to repurpose this just for when iβm reading things on here. feel free to use it to help you!

know why youβre seeking this information. be intentional in your research. are you reading to grasp a complex concept? are you reading for inspiration for your own spells? are you reading to see what new thing you should try? what are you seeking? what do you want to know? what do you want to verify?
and whatever the reason is for your research, is tumblr the best place to do it? ESPECIALLY if youβre trying to understand something deep and complex? this is your reminder to get off of here and use external sources in your research btw.
