what if one day, for 24 hours, everyone on tumblr turned into whatever their url is

as an eldest daughter, i sometimes commit the grave sin of having emotions

Every girl has had the experience where a creepy guy asks for our number and we don’t want to give it to him, but we also don’t want to get gutted in a back alley. “Give him a fake number!” I hear you call, okay and then he says “okay let me call you real quick!” Because they are learning. “Give them your number and then block them!” Okay and then they can plug it into something like Spokeo, pay $10 and know everything about you. So what do you do?

First pick a fake name, I use Jessica, then download the Google Voice app, hook it up to your email, pick a number, and set up a fake greeting with your fake name. You can set it to ring your actual phone like a normal call or text but they don’t have real info on you.

Go forth and don’t get murdered, ladies!

Netflix ERASED HOMOSEXUALITY IN EVANGELION

This was important for a 90s anime

This was important to the characters

Netflix did not hide around the fact

Netflix removed an early representation of homosexuality that wasn’t fan service in anime

They made the gay character straight!!

They wrote out a characters depth and made the scene shallow because they took out the fact a character was gay.

They litteraly released an anime in pride month and wrote out huge themes of homosexuality, healthy gay love, telling someone that love is the cure to helping someone not telling them to ‘man up’ or ‘be a man.’

If this goes silent, then have fun with Netflix thinking it’s okay to write out gay undertones for their own personal narrative

So apparently Tumblr ate my original post about this but:

A couple weeks ago I’m going to get lunch and as I open the fridge, my mother attempts to communicate to me that any chicken currently in the fridge is ok for people to eat, because the chicken that was intended for the dog to eat has been used up.

What she actually says is, “That’s human chicken.”

After taking a minute to process all horrible implications of the phrase “human chicken”, I decide to go a different route and hold the tupperware of chicken out to my sister, saying, “Behold, a man!”

This was evidently the wrong choice, as it meant I had to explain to my parents who Diogenes was, thereby cementing the incident in their minds and leading to me, just now, opening the fridge to see the following incredibly cursed image:
