Jay received his lightning powers from Edna.I originally considered this headcanon jossed with NS6, but we’ve got Zane with his ice powers and no biological parents, so receiving skills from adoptive parents due to their emotional connection has to be possible, right? IDK, I’m not married to this headcanon, but…

( Headcanon I AM married to: JAY BURNED THAT STUPID BOOK HIS DAD WROTE AFTER NS6. )

Episode 55 SPOILERS

A few thoughts about episode 55, Infamous:

Zane: "I am programmed to obey the law." Cue Jay looking at him and thinking, ‘We should fix that.’ And then Evil Zane! (This is wishful thinking at the moment, but who knows…?)

Also, I’m reasonably sure that the ‘local law enforcement’ heard what Zane was saying about being programmed to obey the laws. Which means the police may use it against him/the other Ninja.

ninjago ninjago pixal pixal love you guys lego photography things change not always for the better and we should do what we can to change them but not dwell on what we cannot fix and through it all remember that we are not alone and that hope remains this photoset was really challenging first time trying to tell a story in pictures but I think it was worth it despite the flower crown falling to pieces every other picture. i know things are really horrible for a lot of people right now and I wanted to express that somehow we'll make it through we must.
