I feel the same way :-/
I can’t be the only one noticing a lack of species. They touched on a bunch of beloved races but I’ve heard nothing about the Drell.
Are there no Drell in Mass Effect: Andromeda??
My life
If you wish to take part in any fandom, you need to accept and respect these three laws.
If you aren’t able to do that, then you need to realise that your actions are making fandom unsafe for creators. That you are stifling creativity.
Like vaccination, fandom only works if everyone respects these rules. Creators need to be free to make their fanart, fanfics and all other content without fear of being harassed or concern-trolled for their creative choices, no matter whether you happen to like that content or not.
The First Law of Fandom
Don’t Like; Don’t Read (DL;DR)
It is up to you what you see online. It is not anyone else’s place to tell you what you should or should not consume in terms of content; it is not up to anyone else to police the internet so that you do not see things you do not like. At the same time, it is not up to YOU to police fandom to protect yourself or anyone else, real or hypothetical.
There are tools out there to help protect you if you have triggers or squicks. Learn to use them, and to take care of your own mental health. If you are consuming fan-made content and you find that you are disliking it - STOP.
The Second Law of Fandom
Your Kink Is Not My Kink (YKINMK)
Simply put, this means that everyone likes different things. It’s not up to you to determine what creators are allowed to create. It’s not up to you to police fandom.
If you don’t like something, you can post meta about it or create contrarian content yourself, seek to convert other fans to your way of thinking.
But you have no right to say to any creator “I do not like this, therefore you should not create it. Nobody should like this. It should not exist.”
It’s not up to you to decide what other people are allowed to like or not like, to create or not to create. That’s censorship. Don’t do it.
The Third Law of Fandom
Ship And Let Ship (SALS)
Much (though not all) fandom is about shipping. There are as many possible ships as there are fans, maybe more. You may have an OTP (One True Pairing), you may have a NOTP, that pairing that makes you want to barf at the very thought of its existence.
It’s not up to you to police ships or to determine what other people are allowed to ship. Just because you find that one particular ship problematic or disgusting, does not mean that other people are not allowed to explore its possibilities in their fanworks.
You are free to create contrarian content, to write meta about why a particular ship is repulsive, to discuss it endlessly on your private blog with like-minded persons.
It is not appropriate to harass creators about their ships, it is not appropriate to demand they do not create any more fanworks about those ships, or that they create fanwork only in a manner that you deem appropriate.
These three laws add up to the following:
You are not paying for fanworks content, and you have no rights to it other than to choose to consume it, or not consume it. If you do choose to consume it, do not then attack the creator if it wasn’t to your taste. That’s the height of bad manners.
Be courteous in fandom. It makes the whole experience better for all of us.
Esp when your buying all the drinks
This me at work . . . I;m surrounded by back stabbers at work
Keep doing what you do! :3
I don’t know what’s going on but I’ve been getting a good amount of negative “criticism” about my cosplays lately. None of it has to do with my makeup, my costume or anything like that. Instead, it’s me being black that’s the problem. Almost every character I’ve done has made someone question why I’ve cosplayed them if they weren’t as dark as I am. People have called me horrible things, told me to stop cosplaying or to choose different characters. This sort of thing really brought me down because I already know I’m not “the best” cosplayer but for people to literally tell me I can’t cosplay something for a reason I can’t change? That’s ridiculous and honestly I don’t care anymore. Cosplaying is a hobby to me, I’ve made so many friends from it and I have so many great memories. I’m not gonna stop because some ignorant people fill my inbox with garbage. I’m gonna keep doing it for as long as I want and tbh I give zero fricks about anything negative people have to say about that. Everyone should cosplay who they want to. It doesn’t matter if you’re a different race, a different size, etc. Cosplay whoever makes you happy because I certainly will ♡
Yes! That’s not how you arrest someone! That’s just EVIL!

“You don’t look African”
Considering Africa is a continent with 54 different countries and over 3000 different ethnic groups, it really shouldn’t surprise people that there is no one set look for an African.
Afar people:
San people:
Amazigh people:
Oromo people:
Hausa people:
Masai people:
Edo people:
Wodaabe people:
These are just 8 of the over 3000 ethnic groups in Africa, and you can already see how beautiful and varied the people of Africa are.
This was my inspiration for Mileena’s teeth. When I get more practice, I will cosplay MKX’s version of Mileena’s teeth
My first Cosplay makeup as Mileena from Mortal Kombat. Strangely the eye makeup was more harder than the teeth
This is for International Clown week last month Aug 2-7 2015
So, when I started this page years ago, I wanted it to be a place where I post my comic art and what not. But, ever since my friend at the time and I had our fallout, I’ve had no motivation to draw. So instead of comic art and what not, I’m switching this page into my journey through makeup especially cosplay makeup. It’s fun, a lot faster than my drawing process and most of all it makes me happy. So sit back peeps and watch this lady paint her face and hopefully in the future, use her whole body for cosplay! :D

I lost a friend today and I don’t even remember the last time I cried this hard but Blake was everything man. So many laughs that he and I shared and he even laughed at all my corny jokes. Always made it a point to ask me how I’m doing when I looked down. Just an overall great person. I will never forget him. I saw this picture on Twitter a couple of weeks ago and I said “OH MY GOD IT’S BLAKE!!” and I never smiled so big, haha it’s my favorite picture. He was going to change the world, man. R.I.P Blake Brockington. #TransLivesMatter #LegalizeTrans
Yes please!
Amen to you!
like i realized a long time ago that a lot of ppl who write smut in fandoms aren’t necessarily writing the characters so much as projecting their kinks and fetishes onto their faves
which would be ok if so much of it wasn’t so disturbing and it didn’t compromise a fair chunk to a majority of fic content for cerain ships (much less smut content)
Perfect!
Do not forget Michael Brown
Do not forget how the media dehumanized him and tried to justify his murder
Do not forget how peaceful protests were painted as savage riots
Do not forget police armed with military grade weapons terrorized and arrested black civilians
Do not forget Darren Wilson being awarded over $400,000 in fundraiser donations for murdering an unarmed black child
Do not forget that this system was not built to defend us, but to control us
Do not forget Ferguson
Fashion Goddess, I bow before you
I hope I still see this hashtag 3 months later (and so on) from now so I can be proven wrong that these three words isn't just some phase that's gonna fade out in months or years to come.
Killer Bunny
When you think about it Ridley Scott is right. Look back at all the bible movies and animations that's been made. I mean it! Look at "Prince of Egypt", "Ben-Hur", "Ten Commandments", "King of Kings", that HBO animated series about Bible stories.
