Jinx tries to blows Viktor up (again lol) but Jayce whacks the missile with his hammer before it can reach Viktor, and Viktor, seeing Jayce hurt, breaks out of the mind control.

I have nothing against platonic/queerplatonic jayvik but every time someone tries to explain why it would somehow be better than romantic jayvik all the reasons they give literally just also apply to romantic jayvik. Like any profound thoughts you have about the nature of their bond still apply if they happen to also kiss about it

A Great God Grove OC in a vague approximation of Yugo Limbo's style; their name is NumaLuma. They're the God of Freedom. They'd be the villain of GGG2 for secret reasons.
I also wonder if he helped him with certain things that would have been difficult for him as a Yordle. It's not exactly a disability in the traditional sense, but there's got to be a lot of things heimerdinger can't do as a (very!) small person in a world of much larger people, and I think the idea of Viktor, a disabled man himself, helping him out with that kind of thing is... Kind of nice? Like, I imagine he gets a little sick of having to be helped, so getting to do that for someone else makes him feel a little more independent. Viktor, dean's assistant and official getter-of-things-on-high-shelves.
An interesting aspect of Viktor's character I haven't seen anyone talk about is that he was the Dean's assistant for awhile. That's, like, a big job. If you're the assistant of The Man in charge, you're doing a lot; scheduling, mediating, doing the mundane work that's necessary but not something Heimterdinger would do. We see this in the way that Heimerdinger sends Viktor to collect Jayce and all of his illegal science stuff.
A job like that requires a lot. Communication skills, a willngness to do the uncomfortable work (confront people, deal with misshaps, etc so Heimerdinger didn't have to), organizational skills, etc. And a lot of being on the move; running errands, following Heimerdinger around, stuff like that.
I assume people would have known about Viktor because it's likely many of them would have gone through him to communicate with Heimerdinger (and vice versa).
The fact that Viktor is relatively introverted while still doing all of this is so impressive and a testament to both his abilities and the intensity of passion that motivated him.
imagine going to burger king and you're like can i have a chicken wrap which isn't a burger nor on the menu but isn't an unreasonable thing to order and they're like sorry we don't serve wraps but we can introduce you to our burger guy who makes the best burgers and then you go to the burger guy and he's like yeah i can make a burger and a wrap but i think you should go to the sushi bar next door because. i'm gonna fuck the wrap?

Mel doesn't make a move on Jayce in this AU because she assumes they're dating for real, like most people would. You'd think this would be out of character for her because she's good at reading people, so you'd think she'd be able to tell it was a sham. But no. The thing is, she's right: they are dating! They just don't know it yet.

(Viktor's like well that's not true non-monogamy is a common thing in Zaun and Jayce is like haha yeah but not here. You can't date people other than me. Here. Because of the appearances. I'm NOT jealous)

AU where Jayce brings Viktor to the hexcore as in the show, but instead of fusing it with Viktor, the hexcore demands a human sacrifice to bring Viktor back - a life for a life. Not wanting to sacrifice someone else, Jayce offers himself, and so the hexcore fuses Jayce's body with Viktor's to repair his body, creating a person I'm currently calling Vyce.
(Viktor and Jayce can still talk in a mind/dreamscape type of place similar to how vik and sky were doing it in s2, though)
Tbf Viktor did actually meet Jinx in the show and he was remarkably forgiving considering the circumstances. I think he would act pretty normal about it most of the time except occasionally jinx would say something like 'yeah that song really blew up' and viktor would be like 'yeah. just like you blew me up.' and jinx would be like um. sorry haha. And then every time Viktor wanted something from jinx afterwards like help with a project she'd be like but I don't wanna and he'd be like 'remember that time you killed me?' and she'd be like ok fine. He also does this to Jayce on several occasions
i love the arcane cute fan scenarios of ships going on a double date but I just can't take them seriously considering jinx and ekko hate caitlyn's guts, jinx and ekko have both actually killed viktor at different points and a caitvi jayvik double date would end up with the restaurant exploding and at least one child dead by the pure fact of jayce and vi being on the same space together
