You know what’s weird? Having been in the chonny jash fandom for just under two weeks. Specifically because of taken for a ride and time machine reprise, and the canon song order. Some (daresay most) of yall have been here for months, tinkering with the timeline, trying to figure out how it all fit together, meanwhile I joined, went absolutely feral for about a week, was handed the storyline, and went absolutely feral for another week for a slightly different reason.

As glad as I am to finally be here, I feel like I missed some of the experience of trying to piece it all together. Mind you (obligatory “haha mind joke” here), there’s still so much left to interpretation and theorization, and I’m indulging in that grey area of canon. But it’s a different grey area than it was when I found Jash’s music the other week.

Entrapta, in comparison, tends to drop from the ceiling if she wants to tell someone something.

I enjoy the concept of Hordak defaulting to looming over people from behind. Like, that is how he arrives to start a conversation. He means nothing negative by it; it's just his natural way of inserting himself into a social situation. No matter where he is.

People just see his tall shadow fall over them. They turn around slowly, and there he is. Glaring down at them. Stony-faced. Red eyes glowing. Deeply intimidating.

Only to ask them where the restroom is. Or to offer up the WiFi password he and Entrapta just finished decoding. Or to invite them to Sunday afternoon tea at the Crypto Castle.

I found your blog shortly after i lost my mind over hordak and then promptly made a tumblr account so i could follow the entrapdak side of tumblr. And then proceeded to lurk for two years because i’m Like That

me, watching a mutual’s hyperfixation develop in real time: oh wow bestie go off *raises glass*

I love that I became an actual active tumblr user during, what I at least assume to be, a disproportionately large assault of bots compared to the norm

I got an actual follower. Not a bot. A real person! For the first time in months, it feels like! (Maybe not quite but I block on auto-pilot when the blog has not interacted with my posts before or after following.)

Entrapdak is so gross, not only is Hordak like.. thousands of years old, Entrapta is clearly aroace.

There is an infinite supply of triangles and infinite demand for rhombi and we can't stop them from taking as many guns as they want.

I absolutely adore that the number of legs of both her and her dad is in question. Leg number uncertainty is clearly genetic

Frank I wish I had a pet dog :( I love dogs loads. What sort of dog would I get? I like big dogs. Can you please show me a picture of my ideal big dog?

OK this sounds really fun so I’m going to respond by describing my dog (who is not a big dog, just average-sized) and then saying something about where to get a big dog.

My dog is a border collie who has spent most of the year since she was a puppy living outside with me (but I’ve gotten her inside for the first time for the winter, and I’m going to try to keep her indoors for the next three months). She is incredibly smart, very curious, easy to train and trainable, but very sensitive to praise and her self-esteem is fragile.

A typical week for her:

- Monday: lots of barking and other activities in the house, maybe a visit to the library for a few hours to help me finish some book

- Tuesday: walks in the afternoon when the library is closed

- Wednesday: walks, usually with another dog as a companion but sometimes by myself

- Thursday: lots of walking and barking when I leave for the store and then when I come back.

- Friday: very tired out but lots of fun walks with my husband.

- Saturday: lots of playing in my yard until it’s time for walks.

- Sunday: sleep! (Well, most of the time.)

She’s also a weird one – after spending most of her time outside she really loves being inside, while she doesn’t like spending time with humans when we’re not inside the house. (She also really likes running laps around the local track at the gym – I suspect she’d like to be the one who did that.) I’d rather not have her be out on a leash in most situations but I’m willing to try because her leash training has gone well for her so far. I think I might get her a harness that would let her run laps without making her feel pressured, though.

I don’t really want to talk about her too much unless you ask, but she’s got a lot going for her.

Vampire: I’ve been studying explosives for 600 years now and I’m pretty good at it, so yes, I do believe I qualify as a “boomer”
