there’s a group of engineer student studying behind me and one of them just said “hey, hey don’t ever let anything take that away from you. that’s your equation. don’t give the book any credit for that.”
“Could anyone who had never seen stars possibly imagine what infinity is, when, most likely, the very concept of infinity first appeared among humans inspired, once upon a time, by the nocturnal vault of the heavens?”

"Slowly, slowly, his soul was filled with bitterness at the fact that he had stood a step away from enlightenment, from the most real enlightenment, but he hadn’t been resolute, he hadn’t dare give himself to the flow of the tunnel’s ether, and now he would be left to wander in the darkness for his whole life because he was once too afraid of the light of authentic knowledge."

So I listened to 'seagulls stop it now' and now youtube thinks it is an actual song that I would listen in my actual song listening time
DUDE! this changes everything!
@vampireapologist Oh well, “ Earth Abides“ when it starts everything kind of had already happened so it goes more for the community building style, being a more calm post-apocalyptic novel.
What genre do you prefer then?
Do you like the apocalyptic novel genre? some time ago you recommended "Bones of faerie" and I think another one
Actually, I kind of hate it, haha! Not that it’s bad or anything! The stories just stress me out!! I was melancholy for days after finishing Bones of Faerie, even though it was excellent! The only reason I recommended “Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet” is that it takes place thousands of years after the apocalypse, and the conflict is different.
But yeah, I can’t really indulge in much “end times” stuff, because it freaks me out!
