Don't worry if your life is in chaos, you are like the universe itself and its law of entropy. もの久保 on Pivix
Moore House, Los Feliz, Los Angeles, California,
Built in 1965, the Moore House was designed by architect Craig Ellwood, who was known for creating homes that fused modernism with California’s breezy lifestyle.
Restauration by Woods + Dangaran
Phillip & Danielle’s Dazey Desert House in Palm Springs, California is an explosion of sunny color. Home buying is competitive in Los Angeles where they were looking, and they were getting in bidding wars, over bidding on homes they really didn’t like. They were also heartbroken when they lost houses they wanted.
Then, one day they went to Palm Springs for Modernism Week. They saw this house and on their way home, Dani went on Zillow, and there it was for sale!
The house was already sunny yellows, deep blues, and fiery oranges. All they did was touch up the paint, and make very few changes.
The kitchen was originally white.
The pegboard cabinets are original and so is the oven and cooktop, but they painted the doors.
Would you believe that Phillip does the cleaning? Dani says he’s very good at it.
They loved all the orange and started to buy orange things. Dani even got orange sunglasses.
This bright wall was inspired by Dani’s grandmother and Frida Kahlo.
The bedroom floors were originally gray, and they painted them to match the front door.
The office is off the master and the mural was a recent addition.
The guestroom was the only one to get a full makeover.
The “sour lemon” bathroom.
The yard is an oasis with lounge chairs, a beautiful dining table, and hot tub.
