i do! well, only one that i like – i made her a couple years back just to see if making OCs is something i'd enjoy or not. so this is a throwback XD i'll see if i can find a picture, later.
hmm, honestly, i don't know much about her... she's, ah... a soccer player and older sister of many who works far too hard for her own good and is constantly drinking coffee. definitely the mom friend. she was pretty... traditional, i guess? and uptight as a teen, but she's relaxed since (she had it rough then). she's irish and moved to england when she was 13, she's set to inherit a coffee shop from her parents but doesn't like working there, she dreams to play soccer proffesionally, aaaaand... oh! she's trans and aromantic.
there you go, i suppose XD maybe i should try making a crazier one, next. i'd probably like that better.

for kaito....... well i've only ever seen this once, but a fic writer i like sometimes writes kaito with a chronic illness, like a version of the one he had in game but in a modern au, and i think that's so cool
AND I LOVE KOKICHI KING HORSE JOKES. i will never ever get sick of them – in fact, they are sickeningly rare!!! (unless i've been hanging around the wrong sides of the fandom....?)

ahhh....hmmmm. putting on my thinking cap for this one. for kaitoooo... i guess when people lean too heavily into his aggressive traits, cuz he's not THAT bad, guys.
my kokichi one is pretty similar. nothing you can do can really annoy me all that much unless you write him off as irredeemable

for kokichi, probably saiouma. mostly because it was the first dr ship i ever really got into, and now im just attached to them XD something about a guy like kokichi dragging an exhasperated shuichi around the place... and their wierd cat and mouse game – shuichi originally seeking kokichi out just cuz he HAS to know what the fuck is up with him and, eventually, getting endeared to him...... ? idk. they're cute. they're funny
and for kaito,,,, hmmmmm, maybe the training trio. they can each take turns smooching eachother

transmasc kaito is real but what's realer is overly supportive, not-quite-there-but-he's-got-the-spirit-ally kaito
i was tempted to put “other people do Not understand them” but mischaracterization happens with every character. and it's not, like, TOO bad with kaito
i would love to be his sidekick or something....
tbh people often portray shuichi as either too gentle or too blunt. no one can seem to get that sweet spot. also he's such a judger (/aff), which no one seems to remember
shuichi is definitely trans. the question is, are they transfem or transmasc??
he's the protagonist. he's MADE to be put into situations
i think a jar with sticks and leaves is shuichi's natural habitat
half the fandom gets kokichi and the other half...really doesn't. but then again, there are soooo many interpretations of kokichi, it really just comes down to how much you think he lied about. i quite like how ambiguous kokichi is as a character :3 it means theres lots of possibilities
i said “give them more torment” for all of them but with kokichi i really mean it !!!
same thing with “i have to get them out of the source material”. i really want to know what a not-fearing-for-his-life kokichi would act like....would he be any nicer ??
i did half for “transing their gender”, not becuase i'm insinuating he's half transgender, but because i enjoy trans interpretations and cis ones equally XD
i did half for “i would hate them irl” because i don't hate anyone, i just.... tend to assume the best, but if he was as much of a bully as he was in game, well, i would get irritated, eventually

with kokichi... hmm. yeah, no, probably not. no offense, kokichi, i still love you <3 it's less about his numerous flaws and more about the fact i'd never see him that way. and with kaito... maaann, i would mostly just want to be his friend, or something, but i guess maybe. he's a great guy! :D
16. What's your least favourite ship with this character?
theres not any one in particular that i actively hate, but just thinking about it... what character would work the absolute WORST with kokichi....? and i have to say tenko. i don't know, i've never actually seen anything with them, so maybe my mind could be changed. but i can't really imagine them together.
and as for kaito?? ahhh, that's harder cuz kaito gets along (and if he doesn't, he could get along) with most the characters.... but i suppose he didn't have the best relationship with ryoma. even if it weren't for the whole "oh, i'm going to shame you for being mentally unwell!!!" thing, kaito's idolization of ryoma wouldn't work in a romantic relationship. maybe in another world, they're like... mentor and student! or something XD

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?
i really like kokichi for a lot of reasons! i think one of the main ones is: his mannerisms, his vocabulary, his voice, even, and just the way he acts is... so theatrical, almost. it amuses me greatly XD another is, he's a super fun character to try and puzzle out. he's so confusing and multifaceted, i really enjoy putting on my 'detective googles' to try and understand the WHYS. i also really like how tragic his character arc was.
5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?
omigod, i have a PLAYLIST full of songs i could use to answer this. ok, hmm... let me think... perhaps the court jester by thquib? it's about an exiled jester attempting to take charge of a kingdom, instead of the king who he feels is destroying it. it makes me think of kokichi's attempt to usurp the mastermind's role. there's also a lot of talk about the jester not knowing if his memories are real or fake, and the emotional turmoil he experiences as a result of that, and you already know what i'm gonna compare that too.
....and i know it said 'song', singular, but i HAVE to mention to '2econd 2ight 2eer' by will wood XD it's a super fun, upbeat song and i think it encapsulates kokichi's mindset so well!! ignoring the obvious religious ...metaphors ? there's parts about... being a mischevious 'hard to swallow' person who speaks in riddles, and the second verse basically goes 'oh if only you knew what i knew, you would see through the pretty lies you want to keep believing' ...which i think is a sentiment kokichi might identify with, given his general cynicism... and “forget bored stiff, i got rigor mortis” and “how can i commit to reality when my third eyes open and i like what i see?” (which makes me think of his lying) and “the devil made me do it, but i also kinda wanted to ;)” which, LOL. honestly, a lot of will wood songs fit the vibe of kokichi, i think

hmmmm.... to be honest, i'm not the most creative person, so i don't have very many original headcannons. but i like the idea of kokichi enjoying drawing or music or dance, almost exclusively because i enjoy drawing and music and dance XD seeing characters i love do things i love is fun. (also, i saw that little doodle on that whiteboard... 👀)
