I get asked a lot for tips with coloring black people, so i put together a little tutorial! (and bumps my kofi if you found this helpful)

a quick grass tutorial

I’ve never really wrote a tutorial before so apologies if this is bad

1. okay first thing I do is pick three colors, a mid, dark, and light. I like to check the colors in greyscale to make sure there’s enough contrast between each one.

I then plop down a blob of whatever my middle tone color is.

2. next, I take my dark color and just sort of randomly place it around. I try to make sure there’s a good amount of both the mid and dark tones spread throughout. I personally like to keep it kinda messy. I also have pen pressure on for both brush size and opacity, so I can have some blending action going on.

3. for the next step I do the exact same thing as before, except with the light color.

4. aight this is where we start adding details. see how you just have a bunch of colors and edges where two colors meet? use the eyedropper and go to an area where two colors meet, eyedrop a color, and then use that color to draw in your grass blades. I do this at every point where colors meet. should note I personally like to use a square brush, but you can really just use anything.

5. you can technically stop at the last step if you’re going for a more simple look, but to add more details I go to the “empty” areas of solid color and just draw in random strokes using a color nearby. it’s just a way to fill up the empty space.

6. basically more of the same idea of eyedropping and drawing. for more variety so things look interesting, I like to add random plant shapes.

7. and so the grass doesn’t look too plain, I add random dots of color and pretend it’s flowers and stuff.

and there you have it, this is how I approach drawing grass.

A quick messy something from a scene I loved in @andyyoureastarr‘s fic Time & Space! It’s one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read in my LIFE and I HIGHLY recommend it

Got sucked back into this fandom again, oops. Anyway, I love Simon with my entire gay heart  🐟

I wasn’t happy leaving the Tallest on the Yandere AU with the normal cannon desing so i gave them a cool uniform <3 

Now, talking about how they are on this AU. Red becomes more strict with irkens, making Zim go to Earth so he can conquer his first planet and making show he isn’t a coward like he normaly acts, however that doesn’t seem to work became Dib is making poor Zim become a more scared irken with time. Red thinks Dib will help Zim become a more brave irken, that’s why he doesn’t let Zim leave Earth even if he begs for it many time. “You won’t leave until you conquer Earth!” that’s what he said.

In other hand, Purple is a more merciful with Zim. He would let Zim leave Earth but that would make Red angry with him so he only sends medical supplies and food for Zim so he can take care of himself and survive that place. We could say he acts like a mother for Zim, somehow.

emergency commissions

So im in a bit of a pickle all of a sudden

Last night around 10pm I started feeling abdomincal pain, which ngl I just kinda ignored cause ya know, bodies are stupid. Fast forward some hours later and I’m whining/sobbing curled into a ball omw to the ER.

Surprise! I have kidney stones.

Before you ask: I’m/will be okay! Only one is really bad and the rest should be easy peasy. The morphine helps and the medicine they’re prescribing should also. But here’s the kick: I have really iffy insurance and this was a sudden, out of no where expense that I was really NOT prepared for.

Right now, I owe the hospital about $600 copay just for being admitted, not including the medicines, Iv-fluids, lab tests, cat-scan, and other equipment used. That incoming bill, as well as the other copays for the doctors they are sending me to and the prescriptions cost is a amount I don’t know will equal up yet.

So, yeah.

My commission info can be found here, as well as my Kofi and Patreon on there. It’s not stated in the post but I’m willing to do writing commissions as well. Hate to hijack your blogs but if you’re able to boost I’d appreciate it.

I’ve been so motivated and happy returning to ZADR. It’s amazing how wholesome and positive this ship is, there is such a feeling of spirit among the community from it and I love it. I love seeing the support ZADR shippers give each other. I’ve seen some really super inspiring artwork and artists and I look forward to coming here each day. This community is such a stark contrast to those that choose to only be negative, pessimistic and utterly horrible. This is the general difference I personally see in the fandom almost everyday: ZADR shippers: I love my mutuals! This is amazing and beautiful! Oh my god I love your work!! This is so cute! You’re an amazing artist.THIS IS ADORABLE. So inspiring and sweet! This ship is so joyful and fills me with rainbows! Anti ZADR: You’re all pedophiles!! Unfollow me if you ship ZADR! This ship is garbage! You support pedophilia because I say you do and Zim is an adult because I believe something that was never confirmed canon and you have to accept it even though the characters are fictional!! ZAGR is OKAY and acceptable because I say it is, but ZADR isn’t! I don’t want to be associated with you or that horrible ship!!! I’m going to block you because I HATE ZADR I’M SO MAD OVER A FICTIONAL SHIP!!!!!!  or the worst of all the blatant, obnoxious and beyond rude as all hell - ZADRS DO NOT INTERACT If I see that, then I automatically know you’re not worth even talking to. It says a lot about you as a person and how you treat others. Not all antis are this level, and I’ve even had one apologise to me for acting immature before and they turned out to be a nice person, but the good 55% I’ve seen are. I’ve come across accounts of art I wanted to reblog/retweet yet couldn’t simply for what I like. It’s so off-putting. It’s easier to ignore antis because they are trying to provoke reaction and don’t deserve the attention or the time. But the end of the day: It’s never okay to act like this or try to dictate over what people like in a fandom, just because you hate it yourself. If you want to distance yourself, fine. Just don’t take it out on everybody else while you’re at it because you’re so deeply invested in your personal hatred of a ship. I don’t care about being blocked, what I care about is when you purposefully go out of your way to be an ass to others. You don’t have to you know? Just enjoy what you like and leave it at that.

Eventually you reach this point where you realize, why the hell are you wasting your time performing for an audience that will never actually care about you or your well-being?

I did Dib and Zim’s references for this AU, well, now here we have Professor Membrane and Gaz.

Professor Membrane on the yandere AU is more known from the way he acts with Dib, going to the point of screaming at him and telling him many times how he hates him. However he acts neutral with Gaz since he likes her more, giving her even more attention.

On other hand, Gaz is totally different to the cannon one, being a total cutie with others. Dib is too overprotective with her, doing whatever he can to make her feel safe, however his way of doing that scares Gaz and makes her be terrified of him at times. Even tho she is scared of Dib sometimes that doesn’t stop her from cheering his brother up when he is on a sad mood. She also helps Zim without Dib knowing, she feels bad about him.
