“What are you doing?”

Bruce startles suddenly as a young voice distracts him from the delicious kisses Clark happened to be giving him. “Dickie? Sweetheart what are you doing here?” Bruce questioned softly, pulling away from Clark’s hold and rushing over to his ward. “Are you okay? Did something happen?” Bruce questioned softly.

Dick didn’t seem to be paying attention as Bruce picked him up and cradled him in his arms, instead, he was entirely focused in on Clark standing awkwardly by the table they were just making out on.

“What were you doing?” Dick questioned again, making Clark squirm. The kid’s bright blue eyes were staring into his soul, no trace of the jovial warmth that they usually held.

“Well…” Bruce started, Clark could see his mind moving at a million miles per hour trying to find the best way to explain what happening to the 10 year old. “You know how I told you Clark and I are special friends?”

“Yes… I thought that it just meant best friends.” Dick scowled, finally looking away from Clark and pouting up at Bruce. “I didn’t know that meant kissy friends.”

Bruce made a face and Clark decided now was probably the best time for him to step in and say something. Clark cleared his throat softly and stepped closer to the two. “Um, Dick-“

Clark was cut off by a very sharp glare from the young boy, his lips curled back in a snarl that made the indestructible man pause.

“Chum-“

“Tati, I’m sleepy…” Dick suddenly whined, throwing his arms around Bruce’s neck and burying his face in his shoulder. “Can we go home now? Want you to read me a bedtime story…”

Bruce immediately melted, cooing softly as he patted Dick on the back. “Of course my love, let’s go home right now.” Bruce agreed, throwing Clark an apologetic smile. “I’ll see you later Kal.”

Clark couldn’t help the love sick smile spreading across his face as he watched Bruce walk away, however, Dick could very much help it. Clark’s smile slid off his face once he saw the evil glare the ten year old was throwing at him over Bruce’s shoulder.

He couldn’t help shivering from the chill he felt crawling up his back. “Shit.” Clark muttered, running a hand through his hair.

He had the smallest inkling he just ruined any good grace he had with the young boy due to his romantic relationship with Bruce. How is it that he’s so scared of such a little boy?

Dean has no fucking idea what he just did, but the guards are behind him and now the groom in his arms is going "Run! Run! Run!"

And now Dean is running to his Impala, stuffing Castiel in it, and speeding away with him because fuck his life

Will's kindness was the catalyst.

My number 1 biggest headcannon that I have for Season 5 and the overall story is that Will's kindness is what "caused" everything bad that happened to him. (i.e., Vecan being a creep) I know that sounds incredibly bad. Just let me explain!

One of the biggest traits Will has is his kindness. It has been established since the very beginning. The biggest tell is in season 2, when Joyce was trying to get through to a possessed Will, she told him the story of how he gave away his toy truck to a girl who was crying, cause she needed it more than him. We didn't get an age, but from the sounds of it, he was extremely young, maybe 4 or 5ish since he was calling Joyce Mommy. Young kids (toddlers and up to age 6ish) are naturally more selfish or self-centred. On average, 6+ is when they start to develop empathy and more awareness of others around them. With Will already having this awareness of others at such a young age just elaborates Will's kind and empathetic nature.

My headcannon is that Will was Vecna's Target from the beginning, it wasn't the wrong place at the wrong time. The second Jane/El opened the gate in 1983, Vecna wasted no time in grabbing Will. Though, the big question of why can be answered in many different ways. But the majority of them start the same. With a young Will meeting Henry.

I believe from what we saw so far of s5, Will is going to need to remember what happened to him in the upside down, like when Jane had to remember in s4. Memories are fickle things, and trauma can affect that heavily. Fogging up that memory, or completely blocking it, is our brains way to protect us. I am certain that Will doesn't have the best memories of his childhood outside the good ones, like being with Mike and eventually the rest of the party. Him not really remembering the Lego story is a big hint to this. And I'd bet money that a lot of it, if not all of Will's missing memories, is related to Lonnie. A lot of people who've been through child abuse, especially from a very young age, tend to have very little memories of it.

For the sake of this post, I won't go into detail of what I think Will's relationship with his pos father Lonnie was like. But I'm convinced that one summer, Lonnie needed extra cash for drugs or alcohol. He probably saw an ad in the newspaper for Hawkins Lab offering money for testing. Of course, he ain't gonna pick himself for all these tests. Why would he when he has the docile and quiet Will? I imagine Will would be pretty young here, but since he's a kid, Dr. Brenner could use him for some control tests for his super psychic kid army project, and who better to do these control tests on than Will, who has no connection whatsoever to this project. Who's supposed to be completely ordinary. But maybe, just maybe there was something small that showed up during one of these test that shouldn't have. Maybe, out of curiosity, Dr. Brenner offered more money to Lonnie. To bring Will in once a week for further tests.

This is where Will meets Henry. In-between tests, I imagine Will was put in a room, maybe the rainbow room, but Henry would be there and talk to Will. My guess is that, similar to what he did with Jane, he'd try and encourage Will to use his negative emotions during these tests. Maybe he'd give Will example stories from Henry's own childhood. Realising how similar their experiences are. But instead, Will being the sweetie pie that he is, would instead try and comfort Henry, maybe he'd draw him a picture or give Henry something he owned like in the toy truck story, or simply a hug and I'm sorry you went trough this comment. Will's natural kindness and good-heartedness would completely throw Henry off. For someone who's gone through so much pain (by Lonnie) in such a short life shouldn't be as kind as they are. To have a heart still full of love and kindness for others is alien to Henry.

I believe Henry becomes somewhat obsessed with Will. (Not in a romantic sense) Henry isn't used to genuine kindness from anyone, and to have this small child freely give him that, he becomes "protective" of him.

Maybe when Henry (who becomes Vecna) in the upside down, he stalks Will, spies on him. Seeing the abuse Will goes through angers Vecna, makes him more and more sure that the world needs to burn, that he needs to protect Will from the world.

When the gate opens up again, Vecna wasted no time in grabbing Will. But something happened, the upside down changed, Will somehow changed it. It's probably how Will managed to escape from the Demogorgon/Vecna in the upside down. Will's power, a creative kind, activated when he was petrified. Vecna now has an even bigger reason to take Will now. Cause to Vecna, Will is "just like him." And together, they could re-shape the world.

Vecna never wanted to kill Will, unlike the other. He could have killed Will and taken his powers like Vecna did to the other psychic kids. Like he planned to do to Jane in season 3. But no, he wants Will to work with him, to have him be by his side. In S2, Will mentioned how the MF wanted everyone dead, but Will. Venca's anger towards Jane grows due to her saving Will, not once but twice. Vecna knows that Jane will always get in the way of his plan. So he changed his focus. Take out the powerful "dragon" that protects the treasure. (Season 3)

In Season 5, Vecnas is going to really push Will to "willingly" go to him. While our party is distracted with everything that is going on. I have a feeling that Vecna is going to show/torment Will with all the bad things that have happened. Exaggerated versions of events, like the Rink O'Mania. (The behind the scenes shot of Will in the Rink wearing the wrong outfit).

The sad thing is, Vecna's going to "win." (At least by the end of act 2) Will has a habit of not wanting to burden his family and friends with what's happening with/to him. That's the downside of Will's kindness. He doesn't believe he deserves the same kindness/love back. He believes he's being selfish just for asking for help. That's how Vecna's going to get Will at last, cause Will going to feel like he'll need to suffer alone, that it'll be selfish of him to ask or reach out for help.

But in season 2, we do see him reaching out to Mike. Mike makes him believe he's worthy of some of that love back. But, slowly, that belief is fading. In Season 3, he was a lot slower to "ask for help." Before he would have gone straight to Mike about what he's feeling, even if it's just about his mental health. But in S3, he took longer to tell Mike what's wrong. It wasn't until he knew for sure that it wasn't in his head and that it was, in fact, upside down related that he spoke out.

S4 was the first time we saw Will "lie" to Mike. Especially when it comes to how Will feels. All because Will wanted to help Mike. He wanted to make Mike happy again, even if it broke his own heart. Will gave up his own heart to give Mike some happiness by mending his relationship with Jane.

Will feels like a burden, a mistake, the problem in the group, and I have no doubt that Will is going to want to "be better" for the people he loves in S5. To Will, he needs to close himself off from the one "selfish" thing he gave himself, which was opening up to Mike, putting some of that burden he carried onto Mike's shoulders. He's going to feel like he needs to "man" up and take care of it on his own. But that is how he's going to "lose." Vecna is going to chisel away at Will's fears, traumas, and mind. Get Will weak enough to take over his body and mind. To finally make Will his once and for all.

But the turning point in this season is going to be Mike.

Cause Mike isn't going to back down. Will's going to try and push away from the special closeness he has with Mike. To try and burry the love and "selfish" need he has for Mike so far underground that it'll never see the light of day. But Mike is going to come running at Will with a shovel. He's going to ask and probe Will with questions. He's going to glue himself to Will's side. Will's going to get frustrated about it. He's going to snap at others cause Mike isn't going to leave him alone all the while dealing with Vecna tormenting him at the same time. And eventually, when Vecna finally takes over Wills body, Mike isn't moving. He's not leaving Will. Mike's going to run into the upside down for Will without hesitant.

It's only when Will finally accepts that yes, it's not selfish to rely on others. That it's okay to ask and / or accept help. That he isn't being selfish for needing Mike cause lo and behold, Mike needs Will too. Its only when he finally accepts himself that he'll be able to stop Vecna.

Season 5 is no doubt going to be brutal and emotional. I'm not sure how exactly they're going to defeat Vecna once and for all, but I know Will's going to most likely give the final blow. But not without some sort of sacrifice, but one thing I know for sure is that Mike is going to be there for Will in the aftermath, and Will is finally going to be selfish for once and accept and take that love wholeheartedly.

worst feeling in the fucking world when the fandom falls victim to the delusions/lies that the character's feed themselves and than those lies are taken to be the True Essence of the characters

like i just finished rereading assassination classroom (for maybe the fifth time?) and focusing on karma + nagisa cus theyre my faves and like theyre fucking liars!!! ik its basically a dead fandom now so most of the content ive been looking at is years old at this point but like they would be sooooo happy to know accurate grasps of their characters are near nonexistent.

like karma WANTS you to think he's a cool genius lone wolf who only cares about his own abilities!! meanwhile basically every single action he takes in the second half of the manga proves each of those traits to be false outright!!!

like hes (sort of) a team player! he knows everyones strengths! hes thinking about other ppls feelings when it comes to the assassination! he's been putting in insane amounts of effort since he failed that one final!

nagisa WANTS you to believe that he's a fully selfless, weak, support player while being pretty much the exact opposite!! but he doesnt work in a team he works best alone! literally w express permission to work fully solo during the war arc! he wasnt thinking of how everyone else felt during his proposal to save korosensei! he wanted to be the one to kill korosensei (somewhat selfishly)!!

the narrative foils are narratively foiling and no one wants to give it the proper respect it deserves smh.

Sterek Modern Odyssey fic where sterek get together and have Eli however it is they manage whether via magic, mpreg, surrogacy, whatever, and then Stiles' paternity leave ends when Eli is a year or so old and he's immediately got assigned an undercover case. "I know it's inconvenient," his surprisingly understanding supervisor tells him, "but six months and you'll be done, and can choose to be reassigned temporarily or move to the research side of things" he's told. But it's not 6 months undercover. It's 10 years, with bigger cogs and moving parts than expected, not just with supernatural creature trafficking but also hunting, torture, "research", it's a mess, and with no communication with Derek other than the mate bond they have which allows for feeling transference, only able to reassure Derek he's okay and not dead, able to feel every proud moment that Derek has of Eli even though it's always tinged with sadness-not-quite-grief that Stiles knows is due to his absence, unable to even know who their son looks more like.

When finally, it's over.

Except it isn't entirely because then he gets kidnapped by a radical supernatural group who want to use him as an example of what will happen to humans when they're "in power" and they don't torture him but they don't exactly ensure he can stay healthy, only letting him keep up hygiene by virtue of some of their sensitive noses not wanting to deal with that side of a prisoner

Most of the group is lost to a pack of sirens who didn't care for domination over humans as long as they had their lagoon and a steady supply of victims, but Stiles escaped by being left far enough away that he wasn't initially noticed and knew he couldn't be won over by sirens, he knew his hearts desire was to go home and it would never be replicated here.

Has to figure out where the fuck he is now.

(Australia? How were they going to take over the human political system from Australia?!)

So now he manages to get to the embassy in Aus and get things started there, as far as getting a flight to Europe which would take him straight to California, once his identity has been checked and confirmed over a week or two there.

Plane goes down, now he's trapped with half the people initially on the plane while the rest are dead, in a country he doesn't know, and people need to stop wandering off. Turns out it was a group if harpies, one of their sisters flew too close and got caught in the engine, so several of this mismatch group get kidnapped, leading Stiles to have to rescue them with strict instructions for the rest of them. Has to kill multiple of them when negotiation doesn't work

Now that the group is back together, and have no clue where they are country wise or direction wise, combined with waiting several days for any sign of search and rescue which doesn’t appear, so they decide as a group where to go and start walking, going into the wreckage of the plane which mostly crashed and didn't explode or have extensive fire damage when landing and stripping it for all they could with regards to food and water, emergency blankets and first aid etc, with thankfully decent enough weather that other than having to become uncomfortably close in such a short period due to sharing heat on a night, there is nobody getting sick from extreme weather conditions aside from a few sniffles for a couple of days after it rained

They manage to find themselves a rural town, who only one person of their group speaks a broken amount of Kazakh but combined with that, some broken English from their kind hosts, and a pathetic game of charades, arranges for them to be taken to the closest place with the transport to get them to the embassy

Now Stiles is going through this process again and waiting until last, where most of the people have returned to Australia to finally have time to grieve the loved one they lost in the crash, but some are on flights to various places in Europe

Stiles is alone in flying to America

He hasn't really let it process yet that since he got kidnapped by that first group after his undercover work, he has been gone another almost 2 years. He doesn't even know how so much time was lost

One of the harpies comes looking for him, managing to find him while in the crowded airport and slice his sides open with her claws, causing him to be bleeding out in a foreign airport

Luckily he gets to the hospital in time, unluckily he falls into a coma for another year and a half

Nobody in the hospital knew who he was and he couldn't talk so nobody has been contacted and when he does wake up it takes time enough for him to come around and be able to tell them his info. Again.

The FBI sends his old supervisor out specifically to collect him. He got lost 3 fucking times on what was only supposed to be a six month mission

"I think I want to work in research from now on," Stiles tells him, still kinda groggy from his morning pain meds.

"I think it's best you take a sabbatical for a while and decide if you even wanna come back, or want to spend all your time with your boy and husband from here on out."

It takes 2 weeks of pushing himself enough to make quick progress but not enough to injure himself for Stiles to be allowed to leave, with instructions regarding his need for supervision and crutches/a cane

Anyway, it's been 14 years, and he can finally come home to Derek and Eli.

Eli, all this time, has been aware of Stiles as his other parent and why he's not around, and Derek never wants to admit that there's a chance he's dead, even when he didn't feel anything for the time of his coma. Stiles has always been a presence in his life, that is his tata even if he's never really met him. His dad says it's like he never left with how similar they are clumsiness-wise, how Eli's sass will only get worse when he learns directly from Stiles. How he took photos and videos of every moment no matter how insignificant it seemed so that Derek has a comprehensive timeline he can show Stiles when he gets back. His dad never gave up hope, so he never did either, even when it seemed pointless or the other kids mocked or pitied him.

Derek can feel the bond awaken more the closer Stiles gets on the plane. The FBI hasnt contacted him this time because Stiles didn't want to get his hopes up in case anything happened again. But Derek can feel it and becomes jumpy and nervous the more hours pass, as Stiles gets closer to US soil, before he can feel excitement that's not his own bubbling in his chest and relief, overwhelming relief once Stiles, unknown to him still, lands on the runway, once he's safely out of the plane, and it's almost too much to contain in his body, far too restless, desperate to run so leaves Eli a note for when he gets home from school, and goes into the preserve

Eli returns home and thinks nothing of it, and then there's a knock at the door, and he opens it of course. Stiles promptly bursts into tears, "Eli?" And Eli knows deep in his soul that this is his other dad, even if he didn't recognise him from all the pictures around the house, didn't know all the stories back to front, he can feel it down to his very bones that this man was supposed to have been here to raise him

Derek returns from his run to the open door and Eli quietly crying into Stiles' arms while Stiles himself sobs while still trying to comfort Eli. "Stiles?" He can't quite believe his eyes, locked with Stiles' own, but suddenly all his feelings the past few days make sense.

"I'm home," he whispers

so y'know the scene at the end of season three where Derek hallucinates stiles when he's like. dying? yeah au where that keeps happening but overtime, as stiles gets more and more magic, he actually is there. the post FBI raid is weird because Derek keeps waiting for stiles to disappear and stiles is just like AH FUCK NY TOE

anyway this all comes to a head in the movie, where stiles is in a magic coma both healing Derek and being pissed that no one called him. and Isaac's like Hey sheriff... your kid is kinda... sorta... bound to that guy you just had a funeral for?? yeah sorry they'll be ok in like a week. anyway do you know where Derek's pup is?? they'll both be really cry-y and I need someone else to get caught in that

Little rant :

I don't hate Scott, I just prefer Stiles's character over his because of the movie , the movie felt like really horribly written fanfiction by a misunderstood Scott fan.

1. In the movie, Scott's character development is thrown in the drain thanks to I'm guessing the bad writing ? It feels like he's just trying too hard to live out his high school glories.

2. Scott didn't lose anyone significant in his life aside from Allison and it made no sense to say Scott is still in love with Allison and to make them get together after like 15 years.

3. Scott knows damn well the trauma that Kate inflicted on Derek by bringing his whole family down. Then why would he just let Derek sacrifice himself knowing that he finally found a family and that Eli will lose his family, it makes no sense for his character

Rather than blaming Scott for being a shitty friend/ Alpha, it's time we blame the terrible writing .

Scott's character had a lot more depth in the TV show than in the movie and the movie managed to undo all his growth within that time frame.

Hey! Im trying to find a fic where Derek is single father to Eli and starts dating stiles. Eli hates stiles and tries to get rid of him but it doesn’t work. Eventually Derek breaks up with stiles for Eli but is like so depressed and sad and Eli can’t stand it so he gets them back together. If anyone can find this fic, I know you can!!
