finally rewatching the west wing for the first time since I was 14; I hope to get back into all this again ;)
My body is but a #the west wing memes temple.
Merry Christmas (or happy Hanukkah)!!!
I hope everyone's having a great day :)

Don't forget to vote today (even though it's 5pm on the east coast and polls are probably closing soon)
I was thinking about SGTE, SGTJ today and I realized something.
Sam finding out about his father’s affair is a prominent topic in this episode (I haven’t seen the episode in a while so the importance levels of each plot might not be completely accurate). A smaller plot is the whole Peter’s Projection map thing.
I realized that the map plotline could sort of symbolize Sam’s whole world changing.
I’m not sure if I’m just crazy but I felt smart for a little while.
I’d just like to say that it’s like midnight and I just scrolled through this entire blog laughing harder than I’ve laughed in a long time so thank you for that
You just made my week!!! I'm so, so glad I made you laugh. That's honestly all I strive to do. Thank you so much, my nameless friend.
know there was something that, meant something that I left behind
insp.
i was watching that scene where josh is introducing sam to president santos and he’s all like IF I DON’T TAKE A VACATION I’LL PROBABLY DIE so is it cool if i go
and matt’s like if it didn’t involve a motorcade i’d drive you to the airport myself
and then they cut to sam AND SAM LOOKS LIKE THE HAPPIEST BOY. he’s like this man cares about my best friend and now i know i can trust him. MY BEST FRIEND PICKED A GOOD MAN TO BE PRESIDENT.
look how happy he is.
Daily reminder that Josh Lyman’s butt really looked like that GOTDAMN.
I have no idea when or who this is from but honestly I agree 100%
As I have no idea how to make gifs or anything, this is going to be a very short and bland post.
It's been a nice 19 years.
We’re a group. We’re a team. From the President and Leo on through, we’re a team. We win together, we lose together. We celebrate, and we mourn together. And defeats are softened, and victories sweetened because we did them together. And if you don’t like this team, then there’s the door.
It is so funny to me that this has so many notes
I'm not complaining; this is great
I just woke up to like 418 notifications and was like "did someone famous follow me" but NOPE everyone thought I was insulting the White House
This is the funniest thing
There is literally nothing about this image that isn’t making me laugh
One of my favorite moments in the entire show

Disclaimer:
This is pretty cheesy

The scene is on the oval office. No one is in there at the moment, but we can hear Josh Lyman's voice. Faint at first, but getting stronger.
"So, that's my proposition, Mr. President" (or something like that)
Then, the camera starts to pan up as Sam Seaborn says:
"Josh, I've known you forever; you can call me Sam"
Then BOOM close-up on Rob Lowe
The camera cuts to Josh, who nods slowly.
"Alright, Mr. President"
Josh walks out of the room as Sam shakes his head, smiling, exasperated.
Cut to a walk-and-talk down a White House hallway with Toby and CJ
CJ says:
"I can't believe he talked us into this"
To which Toby replies:
"I can't believe I'm allowed back in this building"
The two split paths but the camera follows Toby, who runs into Charlie.
"Where are you going?" Charlie asks.
"To see the president" Toby answers.
Cut back to the oval office, where Sam is now talking to Jed Bartlet. They're talking about what Sam should do about something (probably Qumar related, I don't know)
There's a knock on the door and Sam's personal assistant (maybe Ginger or Margaret? I really have no idea yet) walks in.
"Toby Ziegler, sir," (s)he says.
"Send him in," Bartlet says, standing up and walking towards the door.
Toby walks in, greets the former president, and prepares to talk to Sam. Now at the door, Bartlet says to Sam:
"You've got this, kid."
Sam smiles a little to himself as Bartlet leaves.
He turns to Toby and asks:
"What's next?"
Cue the very end of the theme song with the words "The West Wing" (the logo of course) and then under it: "Returning <whenever>"

I know it's cheesy as anything, but I love it. I think a West Wing fan might find it pretty cool as a reboot trailer. I need to find a way to work in Donna and Will and anyone else I missed. Will as the VP might be kinda cool...
I dunno.
I remember watching Election Day Part 2 and thinking "this is really, really sad but it's hard not to appreciate this acting" and it took a minute before I realized that they probably weren't acting.
I love this scene honestly lol
