Hey guys!
I hate to do this, but I am literally left with 0.22$ on my account after having to buy tampons yesterday, since between Dec. 21 and now neither of my two jobs could schedule me (I work as an extra, no filming during the holidays).
If any of you could help, even a little, here’s my Buy Me a Coffee link.
If you can’t donate, please share.
I literally just have to make 12$ so that, should my bank decide to take processing fees for keeping my account open, I won’t go below 0$ and get another fee for overdrawing.
Thank you!
I’m not sure I can define parameters. But I can tell you a story, an ancient legend among my people. It’s about an angry warrior who lived his life in conflict with the rest of his tribe, a man who couldn’t find peace, even with the help of his spirit guide. For years, he struggled with his discontent. But the only satisfaction he ever got came when he was in battle. This made him a hero among his tribe, but the warrior still longed for peace within himself. One day he and his war party were captured by a neighbouring tribe led by a woman warrior. She called on him to join her because her tribe was too small and weak to defend itself from all its enemies. The woman warrior was brave and beautiful and very wise. The angry warrior swore to himself that he would stay by her side, doing whatever he could to make her burden lighter. From that point on, her needs would come first. And in that way, the warrior began to know the true meaning of peace.
Is that really an ancient legend?
No. But that made it easier to say.
“Always.“
Where in Germany do you live? I want to have snow too, but around my hometown it's just really really cold. And no snow -.- can you maybe send some of it my way? ^^
Dafuq, it just started snowing here. Really big flakes. Our first snow of the season and I’m excstatic.
She got no standing ovation. She got no mainstream media lauds for her heroism. She got no kudos for leaving home, a much longer journey than that other senator, the one from Arizona, to get to DC, and there are no mainstream media stories on it that I can find… I only found out from a friend who spotted it on Twitter. She didn’t do it for publicity. Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii was just doing her job as a good politician, voting not to repeal the ACA so as to protect her constituents. She has Stage Four kidney cancer — that means scarce chances of survival — is recovering from a second surgery to remove part of a rib, and made sure she got to her seat in the Senate Chamber to vote “no” to whatever Republican wealth-care crap was thrown at her. But you’ll only find out about it on social media. Because she’s not a pale male, maybe?
