[Sketchbook Spreads]: Doodle Friday – Lilith Edition
This week:
Took on the dark divine—my interpretation of Lilith, Queen of the Underworld and Mother of Demons.
Started with more human take—haunting eyes and regal energy.
Then, dialled up the demonic:
– Inspired by The Temptation of Adam and Eve (1512) by Michelangelo and Echidna—gave her a massive serpent tail coiled and commanding.
– Final form: gone full mythic monster—wings instead of hands, a nod to harpies and sirens, ready to snatch souls and rewrite nightmares.
✨ Late to Huevember, but here we are! ✨
This doubles as concept art for Celestial Creatures, which I’m super excited to expand on.
The blue cat isn’t my original design—it’s by my amazing friend, and I’ve adopted it with her blessing. 💙🐾
Each Hue has an Animal group and Night/Cosmos theme related to it.
A few more doodles for smaugust 2024. Not following any prompts, just trying to get back into doodling more frequently again.
My attempt at Smaugust 2024. Though I am randomly selecting prompts from multiple lists.
The first prompt shown is for fungi.
The second prompt is for amphibian.
The third prompt was venomous. I combined an adder which is my country's only native venomous snake with a Hoopoe bird which has a symbiotic relationship with a bacteria which produces noxious chemicals.
I have been making some posable insect themed dragon wings. I am planning to make some articulated paper dragon dolls/puppets for stop motion animation purposes. And also because I love derpy little dragons.
The orange and white one is based off a male orange tip butterfly and the other two are based off different species of lantern bugs.
They are made with watercolour paper, watercolour paint, ink and split pins
If you can access this on Netflix please, please watch Scavengers Reign. I can't describe how amazing it is. Stunning visuals, immaculate and fun world building with a spectacular array of alien fauna and flora, beautiful character driven storytelling.
I am going to start rewatching it as I can't get it out of my head. I really need a second series. Please watch this.
It can be a bit gory in places (but most of it isn't) and does deal with some heavy topics but these were handled in such a careful way so please don't let it put you off if you think you can handle it.

Some absolutely gorgeous illustrations. The first one is my absolute fave (dragons are wonderful) Happy birthday btw.
Hey sprouts! 🌱
I recently had a birthday and I would be grateful for a reblog of my favorite works at the moment! :9
I made a little dragon head out of polymer clay my brother thinks it look more like a chicken Dino hybrid and now I keep imagining it scratching around in a corn field making nervous chicken noises.
Some creeper concepts that I never posted here :P
