H0w they l0st their eye is s0mething 0f a mystery since they refuse t0 say h0w it happened.
The reas0n they 0nly have 0ne eye is actually n0t all that deep.
Back when I first drew them, I messed up 0ne 0f the eyes, s0 I scribbled it 0ut, and then I liked it, s0 I just scribble 0ut their left eye every time I draw them.
S0, yeah.

N0t t00 bad I think, th0ugh the face shape l00ks a bit weird.
Als0, I c0uldn’t find the right shade f0r their fringe, it’s s0mewhere in between the tw0 shades 0f blue.

I’m actually pretty happy with these 0nes.

When I was 14, I heard my dad talking to one of his friends. My dad’s friend was expecting their first child and found out it was going to be a boy. They wanted a girl. My dad told his friend that he and my mom wanted 2 kids, a girl and a boy. Their first child was a boy, my older brother. My dad said, looking back, he was so happy they had a boy first.
When I was born, he said they really wanted a daughter. So they decided to have a third child.
I learned at that point, I was never wanted.
There is no question that my sister is my dad’s favorite. Then my brother. Then me.
There is no question that my brother is my mom’s favorite. My sister is a close second. Most the time, I don’t even think she likes me.
Life has taught me that I am just a disposable cup.
Like this cup, I don’t have any value, once someone is done with what they want from me, I get discarded. When people are done with my friendship, or tired of my affection, or don’t need my help anymore, I get left behind. I am sometimes left on the table, or forgotten, or tossed in the trash. But all too often, I end up crushed along the side the road.
When I was in 2nd grade, my best friend had a sleepover for his friends. I wasn’t invited. I wasn’t popular enough, or good enough in sports, or cool enough. We had been best friends for 6 years, we grew up together. Then I was tossed aside. For the longest time, it hurt really bad. Now, it’s just a reminder of how little I’m worth.

I sure don’t remember taking my trash out, so someone must have snuck in and replaced it while I was asleep. I wonder who it was.
Oh hey there
I started a project. Picking up the trash around my building and in this dense area where a lot of our little critters hang out. I filled a single trash bag today before I figured out how difficult it’s actually going to be. This picture is after I finished.
I pulled multiple plastic bags and picked up about twenty discarded alcohol bottles from under the leaves.
Gross. I don’t understand how people can think this is okay. I smartly bought gloves to wear beforehand.
I really want to do something meaningful, and I feel like this is a good deed that I am capable of doing. I do want to purchase a rake to better get under the brambles and to scope for any snakes that might be underfoot.
Not to mention the area between buildings. When my neighbors aren’t parked there, I think I’ll go snatch up all the trash in that area. If nothing else, it’ll make me feel better.
I know this is kind of a medium project that could be done easily with more people, but I don’t have any local friends to recruit. After this, I might start walking the neighborhood to pick up trash off the side of the road.
Anyway, I’m proud of myself for this. Even if I only did one bag, it’s a start to make a difference.
I had to send this to my friend because everything I just said to her was fucking exhibit A.
Do you ever, like, realize that people in real life don’t actually speak in, for lack of a better term, tumblr-lingo when talking about television shows? Words like fandom, ships, OTP, or even season 2a, season 2b, don’t exist in their realm.
They literally just watch a TV show, and that’s it??? Maybe they’ll catch it again next week??? What even is that??
