What's this?!? Two posts in two days? Look at me go!
This cave/mine lot was inspired from a conversation at the PBK Discord a couple of days ago, where we were discussing how to build caves. I wanted to see if my ideas would work within the confines of the game with the CC I wanted to use.
Welcome to the 'Mine'! This lot is build primarily with @cindysimblr's Pagan Build Set, Tulipfera's Skyrim Caves, @sunmoon-starfactory's Mining Set and various deco rocks available at PBK.
Skelebro is my tester Sim and generously helped me check the playability of this lot.
The cavern isn't yet finished, but I'm super happy with that entry tunnel!

The Stillwater - second floor the study room / bedroom. not sure this room is playable with all the furnitures in such a narrow space.
also the first floor in patho is so large and the second floor so little, that i actually had to put the kitchen on the second floor in order for it to looks as much as possible to the original house.

hihi!! i was wondering if you have a list of all of the pathologic cc you use in your builds?
hey! well the only cc i use that is strictly pathologic are these paintings which are recolors by @renfree and after that it's a lot of different CC hoarded from a lot of different sources so i couldn't really make a list, but i can pinpoint to a specefic piece if you need to :)

no, i did'nt even know there were cheats for that. usually if my sims lose weight, it's because i make them work out for a promotion, but i don't get out of my way to keep them fit.

the founder of undonia : faye! i was in a wong kar wai phase, and fell in love with faye wong in the movie chungking express. so i tried to recreate her, and though it does not look like her at all, i think she turned out cute.

it really depends on the mood, but mostly gameplay (i know it's ironic looking at this tumblr)

i have like one or two of the best quality. usually i like to compliment simblrs that i admire, but i'm too shy to go any further

i have two disks with cc on it (a lot of it by peggy) that came with sims 2 magazines. also when i bought the sims 3 just after its realease, it came with a plumbob usb flash drive, and i lost it and i"m still mad about it.

i played vanilla for a loooong time, before discovering simblr and its many creators in 2017! first i was very maxis match, but now i mixed it with, not necessarily alpha cc, but like neon, apocalyptic and grunge stuff. very inspired by the ogs @pooklet and @skulldilocks as well as @leaf-storm

euuurg so much! @deedee-sims was the first one i discovered and inspired me. as i said pooklet, azaya and leaft-storm. also really liked @brattylulu, and @jahkatai when they were active, and more recently @katsurinssims, @applewatersugar and @andrevasims

i created the account in 2014 only to lurk at art and fandoms communities. then i began actually using it as a simblr last year.

i crop it and lighten it and color it a little if necessary. i'm too lazy to do something else

none the sims 2 and its many cc creators are fine as they are :)

here's a less complex build for once : The Bad Grief's Nest. i took a loooot of liberty with this one, so hardcore Pathologic fans may not really like it. oh well i wanted a little more colors than the original one. the sims who are gonna live there will sell illegal magical artefacts as well as prophesy futur and all (hence the crystal ball).
there's two little buildings surrounding the Nest. the one on the left is a bedroom, the second is empty at the moment, but it'll be where the sims will build the artefacts. again even if it is a departure from the original, i hope you'll still enjoy it.
TS2 Program - Duplicate File Finder (Working)
So here’s A WORKING Duplicate File Finder that doesn’t require payments or anything, Its easy AND IT WORKS. It's a MUST-have program! It can really save your game!
DOWNLOAD LINK.
Tutorial:
1) Install the program, find it and open it.
2) Click the "Add Path" button.
3) Then Find your Downloads Folder (or any folder you want to check if it has double files)
Following this path: This PC>Documents>EA Games>The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection>Downloads
Select it and Click the OK Button.
4) Select the "START SEARCH" Button.
5) Wait Until the program finds the double files. (It won't take long)
6) When the "Report" window pops, click the OK button.
For better viewing, maximize the program.
7) You need to drag the window that shows the double files, so you can see their full names and where they are.
8) Now you will see the Double Files.
Select each of one and click the "Delete Files" Button.
9) A window will pop asking you if you are sure to delete the selecting files.
Check the "Send to Recycle Bin" (to be safe) and Click the Yes Button.
10) Done. That's it!
i think that mary-sue tends to take a lot of shit and that it's sometimes unfair. not that she's a perfect character by any means, (the difference of treatment between angela and lilith is not acceptable), but she's an adoptive child.
and as so, even within a loving family it can be difficult to not always try to achieve perfection in the fear that you're not enough and that you might be abandonned again. she's a successful woman in her field of career, who gets CHEATED by her husband, but somehow she's the bad guy, and the one always depicted like a shrew, angry selfish mother, while daniel is the cool dad. you know as if he didn't have a part in the difference of treatment between his children.
that's why the video of juno birch turning her into a witch and burning shit to the ground is one of the most hilarious and satisfying thing of all time to me hahaha

Thank you, anon! 😭💖 I cracked open my folder full of supernatural gamefixes. Some of these are an absolute must for me, others are just for flavor. I don't include things like prettier skin/eyes overlays and such because everyone has different tastes and styles.
⚰️FOR VAMPIRES🦇
Vamp Daytime Indoors Decay Hack - A mod that stops decaying needs of vampires as long as they're indoors, giving them a chance to normally function during the day. However, I eventually switched to...
...Sunlight immunity for vamps - No more sunlight weakness! Why was this so important for me? Vampires can't hold basically any job because they cannot go out during the day. Large families of vampires are extremely hard to control, as sims are naturally suicidal and often get ideas such as, idk, cuddling together looking at clouds during daylight, completely unbothered by their burning flesh. So I use this mod to keep them safe (and myself sane). Despite their immunity, vampires still won't appear as walkbys and they cannot be called on the phone during the day. They still throw hissy fits at the sun. But they don't die. 😌
I know I said no cosmetic mods but... A vampire skin overlay that doesn't suck is an absolute must. It's absurd that non-transparent Maxis overlay turns black-skinned vampires pale white!😵 I personally use Semi-Transparent Vampire Default by Episims (which matches the set of skin defaults I use) but many other semi-transparent overlays exist out there.
Biting neck satisfies hunger need - I use version V.2, which separates "Bite Neck" interaction into "Embrace" (create new vampire) and "Bite Neck" (drink blood)

🌕FOR WEREWOLVES🐺
No more turning into a werewolf every night - I use version "LBFControllycantropy(3dayaweek-nopersonnalitychange))". This one was quite important for me. Vanilla lycanthropy is quite disruptive to the life of the sim with all its hunger need swings and personality changes. This mod allows them to have some better, less hairy nights 😉
No personality change for werewolves - Alternative mod if you still want the transformation to occur at normal intervals.
