I joined guard after I tried joining the band program but because the school I came from had an infamously bad program the director sent me down to the guard. I was heartbroken because I had my mallets and a piece I had been practicing for the last few months. Regardless, In the end, I’m way happier in Guard.
Usually I’m not like this but please follow this blog I wanna feel like it’s actually good for something because I’m particularly excited about making it
I’m really regretting leaving my flag bag in the band hall, I want to practice and do tricks. I mean the weather is kinda shitty but whatever. Wish me luck on not breaking anything. I’ve decided to link the Insta with the Tumblr and make my life a little easier making content for both, so if you want to go follow the insta you’re more than welcome.
When your told to do 100 drop spins

Crazy party crew
The emotional support squad
What if you live on the Great Plains? Then what?
The worst part of winter guard is not being able to practice outside
And gentle rain outside the bus leaves the walls chilly and the lights bending. But you’ve never been more comfortable in your life
those nighttime band bus rides where people are napping or singing or laughing or listening to music and there’s the faint glow of the streetlights passing by and everything feels right in the world
