I love writing fanfic because sometimes the characters just do what they want without my input. I certainly didn't intend for Lilia and Jade to be scheming together, and yet here they are. This is certainly not a nightmare duo that will cause problems on purpose, not at all
“Monster”
"I love writing so much," I say as I regret every life choice that has lead me to this point.
[about my own oc, who i created] in theory its possible she would say that, but we just dont know for sure
One advantage of not really having a strong sense of gender identity is that you’re very [shrug emoji] about how people gender you. Sometimes people call me by she/her pronouns and sometimes they go with he/him pronouns and on the internet people often default to they/them, and neither option is entirely right but also, fuck if I know what would be right, and I don’t particularly care. Therefore I’m perfectly happy to outsource my gender identity to the people around me who actually need to figure out which box to put me in. I don’t need to talk about myself in third person, so really my pronouns sound like a you problem.

Inspired by @originalaccountname's post about Atsushi's vision of Dazai being warped.
These are all panels where Dazai either appears as a memory or hallucination for different people. Probably not all of them, but a small collection I literally just gathered in the last hour.
----
Atsushi
I think it's interesting just how lifeless this hallucinated version of Dazai is. He doesn't smile, he doesn't joke. It really does just feel like Dazai's face placed over Atsushi's conscience to guide him forward.
Akutagawa
Scraggly little guy. There's mystery behind his eyes, he knows something you don't. Has never seen a hair brush in his life. Akutagawa's vision of Dazai always looks like he's the one in control and he knows it. But also, he looks so young.
Chuuya
This ones admittedly a little different because the 1st panel is from the fifteen manga BUT I'm counting it because I love the visual and it makes an interesting contrast to how Chuuya saw Dazai when they were both teens, to how he remembers him now. One a mastermind demon, the other a lost looking boy surrounded by demons.
Ango
Bratty, criminal child. Someone who needed to be saved. The handcuff representing Dazai as someone trapped by his past and Ango trying to pay penance by saving him from it. He envisions the boy he was, because his betrayal meant he never got to know the man Dazai became.
Ranpo
Happiest little guy out there! Considering how much Dazai says he admires Ranpo, it's not surprising that when Ranpo envisions the agency he sees Dazai smiling at him. This is the Dazai Ranpo wanted to protect, the smile and joy he never wanted to lose.
The Day of Fateweaving is a holiday in Nightbloom City meant to celebrate everlasting bonds between people. It is said that on this day, people used to cast spells with a partner that magically bound their destinies together, so that no matter what they would stay by each other’s sides. This spell was first said to have been cast by the Enigmatic Storytellers, a promise that they would always be together.
To symbolize these bonds, people weave friendship bracelets out of fiber, plants, fabric, and whatever other materials they can gather. Traditional ones are very simple, consisting of a woven brair in two colors; one that represents you, and one that represents the intended recipient of the bracelet— sometimes with a charm of some sort attached. However, plenty of people make them completely differently. Every relationship is unique, and as such, so are the bracelets.
Originally, they were meant to be exchanged with your best friend. However, the tradition has since been expanded, and people exchange bracelets with close friends, family members, and lovers. The only requirement is that you cherish this person deeply.
Usually, people will make the bracelets on Fateweaver’s Eve, and then exchange them on the Day of Fateweaving. It’s customary to wear any bracelet you receive for the entire day, and locals often wear shorter sleeves in order to display any bracelets they get.
This holiday is celebrated officially by Twined Fates Academy due to its association with their idols. On Fateweaver's Eve, workshops are set up so that people can gather materials for their bracelets and learn to make them if they don't know already.
It is around this time that the Promising Young Mages' Social takes place.
Yuu: So what's it like being one of the only non-crazy people here?
Silver: I have a feeling that will change very soon.
