I wanted to announce my upcoming original comic series, Wellwishers, and the two main characters of it -- Vincent and Witherspoon! 😼 The comic itself isn't ready yet, but I have steadily been working on it behind the scenes -- in fact, I've been working on this project for ten years! I don't want to share too many details yet, lest I wander into spoiler territory, but I wanted to begin to share some fun sneak peeks and to introduce the main characters. Vincent and Witherspoon become unlikely best friends and have adventures in their strange, magic-filled world!
I'll be posting updates on the progress of the comic as they come in my Discord server, Gremlin's Secret Forest (follow the link in the Linktree in my bio to join)! It is a fun, wholesome community geared towards Christian creatives and fans of my comics.

I feel like theres an undeniable sense of coolness to Tove's drawings of snufkin with his face obscured
My very nice mutual @/imaplatypus_arts (on Instagram) and I did an art trade! We drew each others' ponysonas, hehe. 👀👏 This is my take on her ponysona, Turning Gears! (She did an absolutely splendid job on her side!) Now I'm feeling drawn in by the call of pony OCs (I used to have a lot of them a good while ago), maybe I'll bring back some of my older ponies again!

Here is my redesign of Shadow the Hedgehog! 👀👏 I'm honestly really happy with how this came out. I honestly feel like a laser blaster would be up Shadow's alley so I tried to design him one. What do you think about my interpretation of him? I'd really like to do Rouge the bat sometime soon!

And YES, more than half of these tropes fit Discord, that's why I cannot shake this scrunkly even 10+ years later...
(Especially since I really love the headcanons that say Discord was an artifically created being/homunculus... it's not canon but... it's not not canon either)

Character who starts out as an antagonist/villain and goes through a redemption arc
^ The above, but after they are redeemed, they still struggle to integrate in with 'the good guys' and have a long road of earning the trust of others
Homunculus/artificially created being who is misunderstood by others/longs to understand humanity
^ Especially when they are good but were created by someone evil
As an alternative take, a homunculus/artificially created being who was made by someone very good and struggles to live up to their creator's light
A very hard to get along with/seemingly jerk-y character who is actually extremely loving and sensitive deep down, and it shows around the people they trust
Siblings who are mirrors of the other (what they might be, could have been, and wish they were), who understand each other more deeply than anyone else but struggle to reconcile themselves to one another
Villains/antagonists who give the hero a terrible time but are actually really kind and considerate to their own associates (has a found family with all of their henchmen, has really good healthcare benefits and perks for their workers, is able to upkeep positive relationships and is actually respected)
