Decided to still post this on Sunday even though this was technically finished in the middle of the week. And man, what a rough week it has been. But it’ll get better next week (I hope).
As I mentioned in the last post, I’ve decided to make these daily doodles a solo January thing to better focus on school and all my other responsibilities. If a calendar doodle strikes my fancy in the future, I’ll likely make it and post it here, but they won’t be a regular weekly thing anymore. (Not to mention I’m running out of different general poses to use =^=)
This was fun though! I got to draw many snarky faces.

Another WHOOF of a week. But I do quite like how most of these turned out! I’m on the home stretch now- I’ve decided I’m going to keep making these daily doodles until January ends, and then I’ll be cutting back on them. More about that in that post probably.

WHOOF. This weekend has been something. And judging by how the past few days have gone with my posts and doodles, I think it’s safe to say I’m going to start making weekly posts of these quote doodles. It’ll be less stress on me to make a post every day and also give me leeway if I fall behind a day but catch up the next.

I kind of gave up caring much about making today’s doodle look nice. It’s been a long week and I’m tired and these are mostly for me to relax and scribble, so I’m gonna relax and scribble.
Also as a note she has no idea what she’s talking about where anxiety’s concerned, she’s not the anxious one in my brain xD

College is starting like a TRUCK for me… I think soon I might start doing weekly updates for these pictures. That’ll give me less stress of having to both make and post a doodle every day, and I can give more focus to my schoolwork and keep my mental sanity intact.
But for this one I knew exactly what position I wanted her to be in. I imagine her elbows are resting on some sort of surface, I would’ve drawn it if I had the room.

This calendar has one page for the weekend days, it seems. It’s not my favorite thing with calendars, but was extra useful this weekend as I’m on the road most of the day today. So I was able to doodle this out yesterday, and post today! Most of these weekend-quote posts will likely happen on Sundays.
I took the quote to heart, and since this weekend could be my last, I decided to ink this doodle as well. I don’t usually use ink as I’m extremely of messing up the line work, but since it may be my last day I decided to go for it. I like how it turned out!! I need to practice using ink more.

I figured at some point the quotes would turn to something she wouldn’t actually say, but I did not expect it to be a quote like this that started it out 😆

I was on the road all day coming home from a family vacation so here I am posting this late at night again xD
I think at some point I might change to posting these doodles every week, if I run out of things to say for each individual day. We’ll see as the year progresses.

I’ve never seen Elan Gale’s Instagram, but from what I’ve seen of the calendar so far *cough*thebackoftheboxanddayone*cough*, these snarky sarcastic quotes are right up my alley for my snarky sarcastic side. So I thought, why not do a fun thing and doodle said snarky sarcastic side personified saying these quotes each day? And then expose those doodles to the eyes of the world?

And here’s the sketch. I think most of my posts will be more of this kind of sketchy doodle, especially with college starting back up next week, but I wanted to go a bit extra for this first day.

The maths fandom is wild. “Real” and “imaginary” numbers? I think you mean canon and non-canon. You guys seriously go “this is my number oc his name is i and he is the square root of -1” when in numbers canon lore it’s actually impossible to square root a negative but sure whatever. “Complex numbers”? I think you mean a character x oc ship. “f(x) = 3x - 5”? That is self-insert fanfiction.
