☆⁠ I like to think that Roger doesn't know the appropriate time for things. So like the most tragic thing could happen and he'd make a disturbing comment about how like a certain animal breeds or something

☆⁠ Roger also trauma dumps a lot on accident. And again, at the worst time. Maybe that's just his way of coping-

☆⁠ ANYWHO back to Jack and Roger I like to think that Jack gives Roger horrible nicknames like "Rog-dog" and "Rogg-ie" and "sunshine lolipops" and in response Roger just pulls up an embarrassing secret Jack has or something (or just calls him c#)

Ralph was sitting on the ocean’s edge, where the ocean and the land meet, and he fiddled with the conch.

Piggy and Simon walked over to where Ralph sat, sitting across from him, on the sand.

“Guys.. Can I ask you something?” Ralph asked, staring at the water.

Piggy nodded and Simon spoke up, “Yeah. What’s up?”

Ralph stopped fiddling with the conch and looked up. “Be honest, please.”

Piggy raised an eyebrow and cleaned his glasses off. “Honest about what?” he asked, frowning

Ralph handed Simon the conch as he stood up to pace in a small circle. “Am I… A bad leader…? Because nobody seems to listen to me except for you two. The rest listen to Jack.”

Simon and Piggy exchanged a glance and Simon stood up.

“Don't think that way, Ralph.”

Ralph raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean?”

“You’re such a good chief, Jack’s just a jerk.” Simon said, and Piggy nodded enthusiastically

Piggy stood up as Simon handed back the conch to Ralph.

Piggy pointed at Ralph’s chest. “Your kindness and compassion makes you a good leader. Despite you wanting to fit in, you’re still kind and compassionate”

Ralph had to wipe his eyes to hide his tears, “You two mean that?”

Piggy and Simon nodded.

“Always.” Simon said, smiling

“Forever.” Piggy added, hugging Ralph

ONE SHOT - Death - 128 Words

Simon… Simon’s dead

Piggy and Ralph backed away from the mob and headed off to one of the shelters.

Once there, Piggy let out a small cry. “Simon- What happened?!”

Ralph let out a confused groan, “I don't know… I don't know… he’s gone….”

Piggy froze. “He ain’t gone, Ralph!” He said, incredulously.

Ralph looked up at Piggy, “Piggy…”

“He’s still alive! They just killed a pig, that’s it!”

“Piggy..”

“He’s not dead though. He can’t be. He’s Simon!”

“Oh, Piggy…”

“He’s Simon… He’s not dead…”

Ralph enveloped Piggy in a tight hug, quietly.

Piggy let out a pained cry, and broke into sobs.

Ralph began to cry as well, upon hearing Piggy’s sobs.

“He’s really gone, Ralph?” Piggy asked, shakily

“I think so Piggy, I think so.”

Since yesterday (March 21st) was my birthday I think it would be fitting to share My LOTF OC

☆⁠ First of all, I'm really surprised that there wasn't a Charlie or Charles mentioned in the book. Considering it was 1950's England.

☆⁠ANYWHO, this is Charles. He doesn't have a last name because I don't think there's any importance-

☆⁠ Part of the choir

☆⁠ Died.

☆⁠ Cause of death: stress, heat exhaustion, dehydration, and lack of sleep

☆⁠ He didn't like the island at all because 1) too hot 2) it's an island 3) he doesn't like changes and inconsistency 4) he can't draw :)

☆ I like to think that he died after Jack and Ralph split and the whole hunting tribe was made. Mainly because he liked being with Ralph because he just wanted to get rescued, but also he likes Jack because of the choir. So the split and the major decision of who to go without too much stress on him and he passed away in his sleep that night.

I tried drawing some post-Island stuff yesterday but I eventually lost motivation because I kept messing it up

working on smth (trynna draw differently) but might not be able to show it for a few hours because I got a thing that most if my apps go off for the night TvT

we are people. some of us are kids. i am a child. nex could have been me. nex could have been my best friend. nex could have been another queer friend or kid at my school. the world fights us and hurts us and beats us and we're just trying to fucking survive while our schools and our parents and our friends and etc turn their backs on us while people are beating us to the ground and nobody understands except for the trans community, nobody is there for these trans kids except the trans community and the world has decided they hate us for trying to be happy. i don't know what to do anymore.

I see so many fanarts of lotf and I love them all like literally every one I saw ‘til now are so gorgeous and I love the art styles sosomuch!!

also because I am back in my drawing phase and trying to better myself and find my style it’s very inspiring to see all those talented artist drawing

I’m scared to copy someone tho and I know I should draw more but I usually forget it or I am too lazy to ;-;

mostly probably because your account colors are green, and like.. that’s kinda how i associate things to colors- like for example a good song i like, “when you sleep” by my bloody valentine. i associate that with pink/hot pink because the album cover thingy is hot pink.

your green is like a lighter/paler green though, i feel like darker greens seem.. moodier? i dunno how to describe that. but you seem like a pale green (i LOVE pale/greyish colors) like fun n bubbly n nice, there are probably better words for it but

ahh, work as in internships :) I have a weird lil special class thing where I am in school and in internships like it’s better for me to learn with having practical stuff instead of just theoretical yk? it’s new for us and it sometimes overwhelms me with the changes but I feel a lot more comfortable in that class.

anyhow, damnit I forgot everything I wanted to say again ;-;

it’s alright to go to sleep early! it’s good actually :3 I usually get about 6 hours of sleep a night (if I got school or work the next day) wich is pretty good for me.

I’m a minor (not comfortable telling my age, sorry), amateur artist and a local lotf enjoyer. even tho I just got into lotf a few weeks or days ago I am already obsessed /pos!!

I use tone tags because it is easier for me to understand stuff like that (I’m a bit stupid) so feel free to do the same for me!

also I sometimes act a bit weird, like I forget stuff very easily and can only really focus on stuff I like, I sometimes just run around and get really upset when my plans get ruined or some stuff that sound weird or feels weird, it just hurts my body smh🧍‍♂️

also I think that’s quite interesting, I looked into neurodivergency for a few years (like research) and I found stuff that really match me but my therapist said “nah” bc I can hold eye contact and have some friends (I’m mostly just trying to avoid conflict and the ones I feel comfy with all the time are 2 [wich is good, don’t get me wrong, but many people think that I’ve got that perfect life and that sometimes irritates me /nm]) anyways what I wanted to say I don’t feel so comfy with my therapist anyways and I don’t act with them like I would with ppl I feel comfy with but that’s just how it is. I am trying not to think about it too much because I am scared to gaslight myself (I got told that I am maybe just gaslighting myself into neurodivergency or such) BUT ANYWAYS idk I forgot-

look. i’m sick and fucking tired of seeing such horrible and inhumane responses to the global strike for palestine happening this week. it’s not just some “tumblr phenomenon”. nobody is forcing you to take off work. nobody is forcing you to take off school. use your brains and figure out that the strike is for justice in palestine. the point is to DO WHAT YOU CAN. even if that just means reblogging posts, telling a friend who might be able to do more, participate in the boycotts, make informative posts yourselves. i know that is all do-able to the majority of you. have a heart. this is not supposed to be comfortable. this is not supposed to be nice. innocent lives in Gaza are being killed by the second and the strike is to keep up the pressure for a ceasefire.
