Okay, both theories are very interesting, but I always thought of something completely different.
We’ve been told that Cale is unusual because he doesn’t absorb the soul fragments in ancient powers to make them his own. But what if this is what makes them powerful?
In most fiction, souls hold immense power, enough to rival ten suns, as a TV show I can’t remember the name of once said.
I know it doesn’t make much sense, but think about it: the reason one can’t use the full power of an ancient power is that they don’t absorb the remnants of the souls of the ancient bearers. If they did, the surviving will of these fragments would help the current bearer (Cale) unlock the full potential of these powers.
For example, purifying dead mana, controlling trees, tracking divine artifacts, alerting to danger (“Are you trying to sacrifice yourself?”), etc.
And the reason nobody knows this is that the surviving wills of the ancient bearers, if they decide they don’t like you, will do everything possible to prevent you from absorbing them while also refusing to give you any advice or help.
The only way to avoid this would be to have a very strong will and/or soul or to know this information beforehand.
That’s my theory.
Why were ancient powers in TBOAH not considered strong? Let’s talk about it.
What was that thing in the beginning of the novel that talked about ancient powers not being powerful? And despite people having them, they weren’t used very much in The Birth of a Hero because of that?
Cale had said it before when he talked about the fiery thunderbolt in tboah when Pendrick had gotten it, saying that it was of equal power to like a lighter or something, nowhere as powerful as what they needed it for.
But when Cale got it, it’s suddenly just gods damnation?!?!?? And it had the power to purify dead mana and black magic like this whole time?? That needs to be a topic for a whole other post (I mean seriously, that’s overpowered af, and no one would’ve ever known because only Cale can hear the voices of ancient powers, so Pendrick would forever have absolutely no idea it could do that)
I mean, it could be the way he spent all that money just to give it more power in a way Pendrick would never be able to do because they’re so non-materialistic.
But still, it’s just such a big difference????
The Sound of the Wind, Toonka in TBOAH never used it, again, maybe just because it might’ve been a bit too similar to magic, but he also called it weak and just never used it!
The Unbreakable Shield was just never used period, despite its usefulness and utility.
I have no idea about the Sky-Eating Water because I think it also never got used.
But why does something about Cale make these powers stronger?
They’re not even fully combined with his soul! They’re not at full power!! What the hell???!??
I have a theory about this, but you have to hear me out-
So TBOAH was the story about the creation of a hero through suffering and overcoming adversity, right?
Maybe his ancient powers are so strong because of a, “high risk, high return” type thing?
For example, referencing one of my past posts, every time he coughs up blood from an ancient powers recoil, he should be dying. His plate is weak, it’s made of glass, and every time he uses one last their limit, that glass will get closer snd closer to breaking, that is, without the Crybaby ancient power.
The Crybaby ancient power serves as a cushion, a shock-absorber, for every time one of the other ancient powers tries to recoil against Cale’s glass plate.
Just think of it as, every time Cale has ever coughed up blood, he should’ve been dead.
And of course, Cale, with barely any self preservation instincts, or those mental blocks in his brain that would usually be like “oh using that much would be too harmful, let’s not,” Mr, I can used Instant for 5 seconds and come out looking like I jumped into a blender, who is willing to sacrifice himself at anytime for the ones he loves, will always use the ancient powers past the safe limit.
For taking such a large backlash, one that would, should, be strong enough to kill you, you must be rewarded with something pretty powerful, right? Balance and all that shit?
Does any of this make sense? It’s like 1 am right now

Don't remind me, I try to encourage everyone I know to read the novel because I need to be able to talk to someone from TCF before I go crazy and whenever I try to give a coherent synopsis I fill it with spoilers (⇀‸↼‶)
What's worse is that I recommended the novel to my parents, forgetting that the torture scenes are an essential part of understanding the story and now I'm afraid that they will steal my phone and computer if they ever actually read it, I just hope that if that happens now are hooked enough to ignore the gore ▓▒░(°◡°)░▒▓
Honestly the best advice I can give to someone who wants to start Trash Of The Count's Family is to never and I mean NEVER ask a TCF fan about what TCF is but ask a person who has read the manhwa casually.
Because we will never give you a simple answer. Oh no no no we:
Will spoil the everloving crap out of the novel. All of it. We just can't help ourselves. Never have I met a TCF fan who doesn't spoil the novel. I think we just forget that they are spoilers and that there are people that haven't read the novel. I have legitimately had someone ask me "What's an Eruhaben?" and I was confused for a solid 5 minutes until I remembered that there are people who haven't actually read the novel
Will not shut up. You will get a rundown of our top 10 favorite characters, top 10 favorite villains, top 10 favorite battles, top 10 favorite scenes, top 10 favorite angst scenes, etc. YOU GET THE POINT! Probably because we don't have a big fandom we get excited when new people join. You will have to read a 10 page essay it'snot a choice. There are multiple powerpoints the fans have made and I wish I was being sarcastic about this
Will scare you because we are insane overly enthusiastic about TCF. There are some inside jokes that only the fandom will get but we usually don't even try to be subtle we just go "Oh man I can't wait for Cale to be hurt so badly he's bleeding so profoundly and probably choking on his own blood! In canon!!" Or "He needs soggy apple pies or he will die!" Or "Why won't slacker life-chan return Cale's feelings?" Or "White Radish *cue laughing soundtrack*". You will think we are deranged but I can confirm none of us has been put in a mental asylum so far from what I'm aware of👍. We're just silly but our silly will concern people
Now if you find all these factors as things that will motivate you to read the novel than please welcome you'll fit in here just fine.
If not than please stick with the manhwa onlys please than try to read the novel at your own pace
(Just to be clear this entire post is meant for comedic purposes. The TCF fandom has some of the nicest and kindest people I've ever had the joy of meeting and I've made many great friends here. We welcome any new fan with open arms, warm hugs, apple pies and heavy angst lol. Never be afraid to interact with anyone here as we love to talk about our favorite novel)
When I was a newbie I came across a Calebab spoiler and the only reason I didn't stop reading was the lack of context and my curiosity (ノД`)
When I was a newbie I came across a Calebab spoiler and the only reason I didn't stop reading was the lack of context and my curiosity (ノД')
I'm really glad I didn't leave it but it's important for all newbies not to be filled with spoilers o(>m<)o
So I really like this idea (b ᴖ▽ᴖ)b
(gods I reblogged this on the wrong blog, I want to hide in a hole and die („ಡωಡ„) )
I have come to the conclusion that we, the TCF fandom, do not know how to talk about TCF without telling absolutely the entire story and filling people with spoilers.
"Wouldn’t you get angrier at people who are wearing a shabby version of the uniform that people would clearly notice wasn’t the real thing while messing around as them than at people with a perfect uniform messing around?" - Cale Henituse (Chapter 178)
This is an idea that has been brewing in my mind for a while and was confirmed in my head when I looked at the map of the western continent (o_ _)ノ彡
You see this, the desert of death and the Kingdom of Askosan are the same size, that means that there is nothing stopping the City of Life from becoming the Kingdom of Life ヽ(・∀・)ノ
It has already been confirmed to us in history that attempts have been made to create new cities in the Desert of Death, so it is not crazy to think that if more had been created, it would end up becoming a Kingdom with its own culture.
What's more, in chapter 316 we are told that only a necromancer will be the new king/queen of death because they are the ones who know the most about the pain that darkness can cause and still handle it ╰(▔∀▔)╯
Not only that, the Night's Exultation is a gem that belonged to the Queen of Death and gives us a great clue about what could be the main jewel of a crown or jewel that marks royalty ヽ(;▽;)ノ
Now that I've explained the reason why I came up with this AU, here are my ideas for it:
The divergence began when the Queen of Death founded the City of Life and appointed a family of dark elves to run it when she I couldn't do it anymore.
She designated this family with a magical huadian that would mark who is worthy to rule, so if one day the family were corrupted their right to rule would be eliminated and assigned to some other family that was worthy.
After the final battle againts the Queen of Death and the Church of the God of Sun it became common knowledge that the next King/Queen of Death would only be a necromancer and the most loyal dark elves built a palace in the capital which was sealed only to be opened when their next King arrived.
The ruling family began to rule and was recognized as an archduchy (The highest rank of nobility below royalty) and a branch of the royal family.
With the construction of more underground cities and towns, an aristocracy began to be created that will govern their respective territories, making sure to remain firm in the principles of always being faithful to their people and helping them in every way possible.
When humans began to escape from Dubori territory to the Desert of Death they were welcomed as citizens of the Kingdom of Life.
With each generation the population continued to increase in both humans, half-breeds and dark elves which caused the kingdom to grow and prosper while the culture developed obtaining things such as harem pants, the wearing of veils on the face and hair and hena tattoos
The archducal family remained faithful to the first queen and for generations humans and dark elves mixed, causing that although the most recent generation (Obante and his offspring) were mostly dark elves the percentage will vary.
At some point, Alberu's mother decided to travel the Continent and ended up as King Zed Crossman's concubine, but since they both fell in love, she did not care much about her new position.
Tasha didn't like this very much but accepted it until she found out that her sister was pregnant and immediately went to help her by disguising herself as a maid.
From here everything goes as canon until during a return visit to her native home Tasha ends up rescuing Mary who became a necromancer, the first in centuries.
During Mary's recovery in the capital's hospital someone leaked the information that the future Queen of Death had been born, and the entire Kingdom began to celebrate the arrival of the future Queen.
Due to the social pressure of taking the throne in the future when she is only 10 years old Mary felt overwhelmed and asked Tasha to stay with her.
Tasha accepted and during the time she took a break she and Mary formed a mother-daughter bond which was solidified when Tasha asked Mary if she could adopt her by blood.
Mary accepted and once the ritual was completed she became a dark elf half-blood, maintaining her status as a necromancer.
His web scars turned white due to the concentration of dead mana and he obtained the huadian of the archducal family in the same color.
I imagine that from here things would go as in canon with the exception that Mary would get lessons in etiquette and politics while she travels throughout the Kingdom of Life to meet her future subjects.
This one shot is the definition of everything I imagine about Rasheel, Archie and Bud's relationship. ☆ ~('▽^人) How the hell had I not found it until now!? (>m<)
I came across some photos of Nyakim Gatwech and remembering the images of Tasha in the manhwa that I saw, I was very disappointed, why doesn't she look anything like this angel of darkness? She is the definition of black pearl beauty! She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life! So why doesn't Tasha look anything alike?\\٩(๑`^´๑)۶//
Olienne is a character we all know but only because he was important to one of the protagonists.
Although their relationship is not delved into, the mere fact that Eruhaben was detained and had a time of mourning after discovering his death says it all (ಡ‸ಡ)
For a dragon that has lived 1000 years he should be used to death, but Olienne was different.
I like the idea that the two of them were close friends, not enough for it to be a Queerplatonic relationship but enough for them to leave traces on each other (*^^*)♡
(In fact, that's because I saw an interpretation like that in a fanfic and I loved it! Him being an otaku is an idea I had never seen before and I loved it.)
We don't know much about him in canon, but what we do know is that he was cheeky, he liked sculptures (he probably made them himself) and long baths, it took him fifteen years to be born and his attribute is wood, and it can be assumed that He was good at creating barriers.
I feel like he could have been used in a better way, his character is incredible and needs more depth but he could have complemented the family very well °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
Perhaps over time he and Eruhaben could have improved their relationship, becoming a romantic or queerplatonic couple who would adopt Cale and Rosalyn as his children (o´∀`o)
Why Rosalyn? Because I feel that if Olienne is as shameless as Eruhaben says, seeing that he took Rosa as her apprentice, he could contribute and over time they would develop a fairly healthy father-daughter relationship ♡\( ̄▽ ̄)/♡
Besides, during the battle of the jungle vs the empire he could have helped Cale make the trees collect the dead mana or even shoot down the airship.
And without mentioning Apitoyu, I haven't read beyond chapter 1042 at the time of writing this post but Olienne's participation in the war against the purple blood dragons and the church of the holy empire already has me salivating with anticipation ☆o(><;)○
"Have you ever felt so much pain that you wanted to die? We call the people who overcame such pain, ‘heroes.’" - Cale Henituse (Chapter 214)
The biggest hypocrite in the world that we all love (¬‿¬)
Cale: I want a slacker life.
Cale: But to have a peaceful life, my family needs to have a peaceful life as well, and we need to live in a peaceful world too to not be bothered by anyone.
Cale: So let’s achieve world peace.
Cale: Then let’s do multiverse world peace because other worlds could also bother us and for an unknown reason I HAVE to be the one who does it instead of sending my subordinates and lazing around.
Cale: And while striving for world peace, something that nobody has been able to achieve so far, I’ll complain that I don’t want to work and say I’m weak.
Cale: Ah, I’m weak. *killing the strongest villain who tried to become god*
Cale: I want a slacker life. *trying to achieve world peace and working more than anyone else*
Cale: Sigh…
Reader: Sigh…
I know that in fanfiction and fanarts he has many fans, but it must be admitted that in the canon, apart from being a cat lover and a good butler, he was not much delved into ( ̄ヘ ̄)
He is known to be good at fighting with daggers and a spear, but at no point in the story is he seen fighting and I feel disappointed in that (# ̄ω ̄)
Also, now that I'm rereading the novel and reading the manhwa, I got the idea that Hans could be a good shaman (︶︹︺)
Why did it occur to me? For one thing only, cats (^• ω •^)
If Hans becomes a shaman there is no doubt that his animal companions would be cats, something he would definitely enjoy (づ ◕‿◕ )づ
If that ever became canon I would like to see how he and Jopis interact (O.O)
From my point of view there are only two options: they get along immediately or they fight like, well, cats and dogs ╮( ̄ω ̄;)╭
I would have liked to see him fight at some point and generally have more participation (¬_¬;)
His character has no background, what is his past? Where does he come from? How was he hired? Why did he become a butler? ლ(¯ロ¯"ლ)
I want to know all that and more, even better if he is given a positive character arc, advancement with his abilities, and good development (o^ ^o)
Becrock is a great villain in my view and his idea of how to mix living and dead mana was fascinating (✯◡✯)
I found his character very interesting and his story had too many holes and mysteries to solve so it seemed like a real waste that he no longer appeared after Rosalyn defeated him in battle (︶︹︺)
The fact that he got rid of his subordinates so easily is not an excuse for him not being given a well-deserved redemption or at least a relationship of frenemies and/or reluctant allies with Cale's group, after all DHB did exactly what himself and after being punished he was easily accepted as a member of the family and if everything goes as hinted in the Apitoyu arc he will soon receive a name (」><)」
(Don't get me wrong, I love the DHB (°◡°♡), but I feel that he is a good representative of this type of situation)
I really like the idea of him becoming Rosalyn's subordinate after all, he respects strength and Rosalyn defeating him will definitely show her strength to him probably having an energetic boss-non-energetic subordinate relationship ♡(。 - ω -)
And who knows? Maybe after that he will become the leader of the ghostly mana research sector (Living Mana + Dead Mana = Ghostly Mana) in the new magic tower ( ̇꒳ ̇ )
It's true Σ(O_O)
How had we not realized this (@_@) ?! They are literally almost throwing it in our faces (@´ー`)ノ゙!
That being said, do you think any other fanfiction tropes will become canon? (・_・;)
I am firm in my belief that TCF is writing its own crossovers and fanfictions into the story.
A story where what if everyone died except for Cale after the final battle against the White Star? Just check the Wind Island Test.
A time travel fix-it/everybody lives fic? The Sealed God's Test on Earth 2 technically counts.
An AU where the White Star wins and Cale loses, or maybe a world where Cale does not exist? Reading about Kim Rok Soo's past before the apocalypse or when he was a kid? What if Choi Han managed to save Harris Village? You can find all of that in the Sealed God's Temple!
What if TCF had a crossover? No problem! Do you want a necromancer world? A murim world? Or do you want a "Duke of the North Cale Henituse" world? Do you want a Demon King with that, or a side dish of the Divine Realm?
"There is no reason to be recorded in history. Live for peace and happiness instead." - The Henituse Family Motto
This fanart is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life ♡(。-ω-) ♡

Ok, I'm writing this at midnight and it's probably coming from my sleep-deprived mind, but here's an idea what I need to write down before I forget it ヽ( ̄~ ̄ )ノ:
Well we all know that the Wind Island test was just an illusion unlike the SGT on Earth 2 and this is because the Sound of the Wind would not have enough power to create an entire alternate dimension based on anyone's worst fears of the challenger who is going to do it σ( ̄、 ̄〃).
We also know that due to the curse Cale never tried to form bonds with Min Ah, So Hoon or the rest of Team 1 but they still cared about him and were just as loyal as any member of Cale's family ( ‾́ ◡ ‾́ ).
Well, what if that were the case for the butler boy we see in the Wind Island test (ᓀ ᓀ)?
Let's say that he became very worried about his master after seeing him act in such a strange way and he decided to follow him because of that same concern ~(>_<~).
This only grew after seeing the way he spoke (or rather questioned) everyone he crossed, it got even worse after seeing him pick up a book that he already hated too much to even approach (。•́︿•̀。).
Well, he follows him from afar, not close enough to hear him but close enough to see him.
He watches everything that happens in Super Rock Villa and after he enters the top floor he gets very worried because he can't see it without giving himself away.
He hears the sound of a book hitting the floor and, alarmed, runs in only to see him "commit suicide" (メ﹏メ)
He panics and while trying to stop him he accidentally falls out of the window with him, causing him to somehow reach the real world (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ.
Can you imagine his panic when he discovered that the world where he lived his entire life was nothing more than an illusion? That the monster that appeared in every horror story was real and was at its maximum power?
And that's not even counting the shock of trying to stop the suicide of a loved one and knowing that you're about to die only to wake up in a cave full of dead mana with a younger version of your lord ( : ౦ ‸ ౦ : ).
What's more, let's say that he cannot remember anything from before the moment the test began, there is not a single memory, only information full of holes that he knows is true until he no longer is, worse yet? He didn't even have a name! ლ(¯ロ¯"ლ)
Finding out all of that would give him an incredibly big identity crisis, the chaos of the destruction of Wind Island would definitely be worse with a preteen suffering from an identity crisis.
It's more thanks to him that everyone discovers that for an entire week Cale was trapped in an illusion of his worst fear and had to commit suicide to get out of it to get the flask and the whip (╥_╥)(they don't know that the flask could be obtained easily and Bud never tried to get him off the island so everyone thinks the test was to get the jar out and improve the Sound of the Wind ╮( ̄_ ̄)╭)
Eruhaben will feel incredibly guilty and will probably drink the entire flask, not wanting Cale's sacrifice to be in vain.
Bud will be worse than in canon thinking it was all his fault.
The children of "x" years of age on average will be very overprotective.
Ron and Beacrox will be more lenient than usual with Cale and at the bottom will be our butler boy.
Still in crisis, he decides to follow our young master, not knowing any life apart from him, despite questioning whether his affection for him was just another part of the illusion (ಡ‸ಡ).
Cale upon finding out this tells him to do what he wants and that if he is going to accompany them he will need a name or alias ( ̅́ ◡ ̅́ )
And he (Cale) ends up choosing Erjon as his name, which is of Albanian origin and means "our wind" (of course, the latter only after at least two hours of discussion about whether Cale will give him his name or Erjon should choose it, It turns out that even in a more than traumatized state of mind they are both incredibly stubborn)
I love this idea! (*♡∀♡)
Even better that the costumes are terrible and the acting is super exaggerated (⌒▽⌒)☆
I can already imagine Cale's slacker life evaporating with this play! (*≧ω≦*)
Raon hears about a theater play featuring Cale's group adventures. Cale really, REALLY doesn't wanna go and see it, but has little choice in the matter, once faced with the pleading faces of his children. Cale disguises himself of course, because he sure as hell doesn't wanna get recognized in the theater.
The play starts: Cale is introduced as a good-natured man, misunderstood and slandered by jealous folk (since people apparently decided that if Adin was the actual scum all along and his rep was a sham, why wouldn't the reverse be possible??) Apparently the musical decided that his past as a trash alcoholic never actually happened.
Choi Han is introduced, and the writers correctly investigated that he's from Harris Village and killed all the attackers, but was the only survivor. Cale is characterized as too righteous to let the matters be, and put this as his starting point to investigate Arm
Cale was portrayed to be humble and due to his bad rep, he wants to leave the Count's position to his brother Basen. (Real Cale is astonished, he doesn't want the position to be a SLACKER, not because of some self-sacrificial mindset!!!) But he requests to go to the capital to investigate more about Arm.
Choi Han comes along to investigate. On the way, they meet Mary. Cale isn't disgusted by her scars, and Mary promises to help the man in the future, should he ever need it.
In the capital, they're shown to meet badly disguised Rosalyn. The writers don't know about the assassination attempt, so they assume she went to investigate Arm, too. Apparently Rosalyn was credited in the musical for finding out about the mana bombs and dismantling them.
Cale and the Prince meet, and they have a whole number how instantly they recognized each other as kindred spirits. (Real Cale is dying on the inside watching this.)
Rosalyn stops the bombs in the background, and Cale stops the suicide bombers. The writers interpret Cale as having this power for a long time, but using it for the first time only in emergency, since he is a humble person who doesn't wish for glory.
Cale denies any rewards (completely untrue, Real Cale says to the kids, he took the Prince's money), and people of the Roan Kingdom start realizing just what a good person he is.
Cale goes to recover to the seashore, where he sees Toonka fighting some locals. (Those were the Whales, says Real Cale, not some mage thugs.) Cale breaks up the fight, and Toonka explains to Cale the situation in the Whipper Kingdom. Cale's idea of buying the magic tower doesn't come up here at all, and the scene makes a point that Cale and Toonka become friends.
The plot introduces us to the White Star, who is a completely crazy, power-hungry, cartoonish lunatic. Real Cale actually likes this representation a lot. He is plotting together with the Evil Imperial Prince, who is also cartoonishly evil. (Real Cale starts enjoying himself for the first time in the whole musical.)
To contrast the villains, the Just and Chivalrous Crown Prince Alberu has a number to drive the point how much he worries for his country, and the incoming wars. He thinks that perhaps with the help of Young Master Cale, they might be able to survive the incoming storms. (Real Cale is inwardly laughing hysterically, imagining Alberu's dumbfounded reaction to this scene, especially the part about Alberu's "unwavering trust in Cale's selfless heart".)
Meanwhile, Cale finished his recovery and goes to the Whipper Kingdom. His decision to buy the Magic Tower is shown to be a spur-of-a-moment thing, as the Whipper Kingdom needs money to continue fighting against the Empire, who the Crown Prince suspects is working with Arm. (Real Cale is disgusted how his very clever scam was turned into a selfless deed in this musical.) Toonka is indebted to Cale and loudly proclaims him his friend (since he does that in real life and the writers had sources)
Then Cale is shown to meet the Cat Children. Real Hong and On are irritated they came in so late. Raon is grumpy he isn't there at all. Real Cale comforts him that he had been hidden this whole time, of course they wouldn't know about him. The children say that the Queen of the Jungle is trapped in the Path of No Return, and Cale heroically helps rescue her. Cale uses his Water Ancient Power, which according to the writers, he found in the Ubarr shores during recovery. (Real Cale is surprised at the accidental accuracy.)
Cale saves the Jungle, and Litana has a number praising him. (Real Cale intentionally falls asleep to stop watching his character being portrayed as embarrassingly pure-hearted hero)
By the time he wakes up, the plot passed his "Heroic Actions" in the Empire and the war arc begins. Choi Han has a whole heroic solo number as he defeats Clopeh, who immediately is dazzled by the grace of his enemies, and joins them. (Real Cale is once again missed how completely off the mark the whole thing is, completely skipping Clopeh's torture and everything.)
We skip past various battles, and finally we arrive at the moment when the White Star shows up. He and Cale have a duet about destiny and all that jazz (mirroring the rumors started by the White Star's nonsense theory about Cale being "the messenger of the gods"). At this point, Real Cale has enough, and completely stops paying attention, to save his sanity.
Turns out, the kids didn't like it. It was much too inaccurate, and Raon wasn't in it. Cale comforts them that of course it was bad, because Raon wasn't in it. Raon decides he should start writing that biography with Mary, Clopeh and Dodori, much to Cale's horror.
I just read TCF chapter 1036 and the ending is one of the cutest things I've ever seen (◕‿◕)♡
~ Spoiler alert for chapters 1032 to 1036 ~
Kendall and Rasheel's fight was beautiful, pure art (^་།^)
The way the attributes of "Victory" and "Indomitability" interacted was a marvel (* ̄▽ ̄)b
Archie going to help was something I considered kind of cute, after all, Rasheel and Bud think they're the only sane ones, even when it's the opposite (¬ ¬), so I think they could be very good friends and this interaction made me proves it (⁀ᗢ⁀).
Changing the subject the complete beating that Rasheel gave to Kendall once she managed to land the first blow was incredible, it was not only physical, but also mental ∑d (° ∀ ° d).
He destroyed her ideology and self-esteem with every blow and phrase he uttered \ (٥⁀ ▽ ⁀) /
And what I liked the most, Rasheel being a Tsun-Tsun (/// ̄ ̄///), after all he himself said that any attention other than a beating was a waste of time for someone who treated him him and his companions as toys to destroy.
SUPER CUTE! (o^ ^o)
Furthermore, it also turns out that Rasheel is just as reckless and oblivious as Cale is by not recognizing the concern that Raon and Cale feel for him after seeing him so hurt, seeking praise instead of trying to understand it (︶︹︺).
In fact, what I liked most about these chapters was the end of 1036.
Raon, the cute one (ノ ´ з `) ノ, decided that Rasheel needed cake to cure him, but he wasn't going to give her his human's apple pie.
He instead gave him Walnut Cake! (❤ω❤)
He is so cute! ( = ⩊ = )
Is it weird that he wants Rasheel to get hurt more so Raon keeps giving him pecan pie (¯ . ¯٥)?
Ok, well I'm going to be honest, I love the secondary characters in this novel and I want more to appear (o^▽^o)
It's as simple as that and I'm going to rant about how they deserved to appear more or have greater importance and participation (;⌣̀_⌣́)
Let's start with Sully, you remember him? I highly doubt it Σ(▼□▼メ) He is one of the characters who most deserved greater importance (」゜ロ゜)」
He and his grandmother are the only human elementalists in the entire novel ( ̄□ ̄」) ! Why in the name of all the gods is it not of greater importance (╬ Ò﹏Ó) !?
Not only that, it only appeared twice! TWICE! ヽ( `д´*)ノ
Heck, his elemental can literally purify dead mana after it started imitating the fire of destruction ヾ( ̄O ̄)ツ
What's more, his elemental is a baby! And he's already powerful enough for the world tree to throw him out for fear of being incinerated! Why don't they respect his canonical power and make him participate more (>m<) ?!
I really like the responsible older brother-annoying younger brother dynamic that the two of them have ( ◡‿◡ ♡)
Why couldn't they in canon, don't I know? Give him a good character arc (#><) ?!
His character is so underrated that after he leaves with the elves he is never mentioned, what the hell happened to him?! Disappeared out of nowhere or what ヽ( ̄д ̄)ノ?!
I feel like he could have been given more involvement for example in the Molden Kingdom (←_←)
He could have helped purify the dead mana in the labyrinth and probably helped create more chaos, we must not forget that no matter how innocent Sully is, his elemental was raised by our favorite wind elemental (Chaos! Destruction! Love! Thanks! \(≧▽≦))
I also feel like he might have become good friends with Toonka and Harold for some reason and I think the interactions between the three of them would be really fun ヽ(o^―^o)ノ
Edit: I just realized the implications of Sully's elemental (who I will now call Spark) accompanying Cale to Sha-Orlen (*^ω^)
The idea that they turn Sully and Spark into the Saint of the God of Purification (Cale does not count for them, he is the incarnation of their god) by thinking that the flame of purification is alive and it is Sully who takes care of it and thus misinterpreting everything the situation believing that her god had left her in her care ( ̄ω ̄)
I think that at some point GoP would offer him the position of real Saint so that his followers won't be praising the wrong person and Sully (due to lack of sleep caused by escaping from the most fanatical) accepts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I bet you all you want that he's going to complain about "his god" to Cage for months after that ┐(︶▽︶)┌
Oh my gods! This is the best idea in the world! ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ
Canonically Ohn recreated the world tree's blizzard so the idea that she can create frost is perfect ( ̄ε ̄@) , better yet, she could learn to imitate fog on the path of no return ヽ(・∀・)ノ
Fog capable of disorienting you and distorting magic? Yes please! 人(_ _*)
Furthermore, capsain (what makes chilies and others spicy) is a poison, imagine Hong simply creating spicy fire capable of reaching meters away, it will be quite a shit show ╰(▔∀▔)╯
(Also Hong, Cale, Choi Han, Sui Khan and CJS enjoying extra spicy Korean food while everyone else looks at them like crazy is an image that now lives rent-free in my head \(T∇T)/)
[TCF Masterlist]
This is for the Nightingale!AU that is currently in the works. Ohn and Hong getting new powers. Hong having flammable poison is already canon (see Battle in Ubarr Territory) but I went a different route.
CHETTER TERRITORY - Ohn
"Ohn, what are you reading?"
"Something, from there."
The silver cat used her tail to point at the lower tier of one of the shelves. Every so often, she would make a small noise of interest. Cale and Ohn were currently sitting in the library in Chetter Estate. In a few days time, they would need to go the Eric-hyung's mansion.
"Ohn, some of your fog is coming out."
"I know... Cale-nya! How do they feel?"
Cale tilted his head in questioning.
"Like are they really cold? Or really hot? Or what?"
Perplexed by the question, Cale plunges one of his hand into a dense fog. He says that it feels like fog, colder than room and slightly wet but it's just fog... He watched as the silver cat frowned in concentration before feeling the changes to his hand. The fog seemed to get a degree colder, and slightly denser.
"Why don't we try this out again once we leave Gilbert's estate.
While they were on the road, Cale had Ohn try the fog again. This time, it was much colder than when she first tried. After a few more days of practice, there was a thin layer of frost on his hand when it was lifted from the fog. Ohn's new fog was also very heavy, according to when she tried it on a small rabbit during a hunt. The small creature was visibly struggling against the dense weight and eventually fell unconscious from the cold.
Huh... Neat...
WHEELSMAN TERRITORY - Hong
"ERIC HYUNG WHAT DID YOU FEED HIM?!"
"I DON'T KNOW?!"
"OHN! COVER YOUR BROTHER IN YOUR FROST FOG"
"Mreeeow!"
"Oh wow, you got yourself some powerful creatures."
Cale glared at his hyung, who looked back apologetically. Once Hong emerged from the chilly fog, with damp fur no less, he was bundled up in a towel by the red-haired son of the count and brought into a room in the Wheelsman Estate.
"So... Hong can breathe fire now... And also set himself on fire. As if the poison was not enough.. Haaaaaa."
Dinner time was a-
"With all due respect Eric-hyung, I do not trust you to feed Hong and Ohn, especially after what happened this afternoon."
The lord and lady of the house looked intrigued, then horrified after hearing the kitten has apparently unlocked the ability of fire after Eric fed it something, and has burned a portion of the garden.
I can't help but imagine Rok Soo feeling bad for everything he put Cale through (╥﹏╥)
I bet Ron and Beacrox would be particularly overprotective of their adopted son/little brother (; ̄Д ̄) and the thought of how they would react to Cale using Instant now lives in my head and I can't stop imagining the theories they would make. do 。.:☆:・'(⌒―⌒*)))
Also, I love the idea that Hans and Hillsman took their work seriously before (*^^*)♡
If anyone sees this and decides to make a fic please tag me (´。• ω •。`), I will die happy with that fic (っ˘ω˘ς )
He didn't realize that all of his scars were going to what was going to be his future body until he woke up as Cale Henituse.
