What had happened to you for you turn into this Beast...?
Whenever a new fantasy/historical drama comes out I eagerly look forward to the rants from the handful of people I follow on here who are deeply into historical fashion and costuming. It's like
Apparently a part of the reason why farmed bees stay in the beehives that humans build for them is because the farm hives are safer and sturdier. I don't know how a busy Discord server's worth of bugs that only have one brain cell each would logically conclude that the humans protect them from outside threats, illness and parasites, but if I understood right, the bees would be free to move away and build a new nest somewhere else any time they'd want, and they simply choose not to.
You know how in almost every culture, people have some concept of "if I sacrifice something that I made/grew/produced to the Gods, they will ward me and my harvest from evil"?
So, in a way, don't the bees willingly sacrifice a part of their harvest to an entity not only far greater than them, but nearly beyond their comprehension, in exchange for protection against natural forces wildly outside of their own control?
So tell me, beekeepers, what are you to your bees, if not a mildly eldritch God?

Pre-canon, pre confidence spike Papyrus centric. Good angst and bros miscommunicating. Struck a bit close to home tbh. Seeing Papyrus before his bravado might be a bit jarring, but the interactions between the brothers more than made up for it to me personally. I really, REALLY enjoyed the way Sans is written here. Biscia stamp of approval.

I'm not sure if the author is ever going to turn this into a full fledged story, but even as a vignette it is extremely fucking funny.

Probably my favorite crossover fic idea of all time. Formatted like a WTNV episode, has segments both with AND without the monsters. Marked as incomplete (I'm assuming the author wants to eventually add new vignettes) but the final chapter is a special segment about Chara, Frisk and Flowey that is so flooring and clever it ties the entire work together perfectly either way.

the thing that sucks is that people love saying sleep early is good etc etc and yeah it is. I've seen some benefits before. but I think it sucks to ignore that late night is the only time with any freedom. I think it sucks to not acknowledge the dread in waking up and it's a work day again

You have a fairly large amount of Uub content (WAY more than the majority of DB artists/writers tbh) and you also seem to agree with the Janemba Kid Buu besties headcanon, so I wonder what it'd be like if you combined them?
Kid Buu and Janemba meet before time itself, becoming besties, only for Buu to one day dissapear, everything it once adored now contorted and warped. It leaves hell for the first time in eons, pulling any energy from the residents of hell it can (there seems to be far more than last time it formed, but it doesn't care to count them) and appearing in front of two figures. Goku, the one who aided in taking its form before and... Buu, but not Buu. A strange not quite Buu, apparently called "Uub" as Goku tells him to hide behind him. This confuses Janemba. Buu didn't hide, he fought and maimed until he either won or got bored. He teleports to him, and simply tries to speak with his old friend.
Uub doesn't know who this strange red person is, but he somehow knew his name was Janemba, even before Goku said it with more panic than he had ever seen on the man. But, stranger still, some itch on his subconscious, thoughts he wouldn't learn aren't his own till many years later, tell him to comfort this creature. He doesn't fear Janemba, even as he draws a sword. He knows that Janemba would never hurt him, even though he doesn't know how.
He sees a friend in him.
... Janemba is confused, shocked, every emotion under the sun. And Goku, always one for a risk for the greater good, powers down and tells Janemba what happened to Buu and Uub. Janemba is even more shocked, but he partly gets it. He feels saddened, betrayed and worse seeing Buu move on without him, but sensing his energy shows that he is the happiest he had ever seen him. Buu was always a conflicted soul, one that would bounce between happy and saddened, in control to following orders in a single second, and seeing Buu- no... Uub smiling at him with so little worry on his face is enough for him to move on. He gives a smile, the rare kind he hasn't done ever since he lost Buu, his face taking a moment to even remember how, before dissapearing back to his home.
(And if Goku would later feel a surge of power months later, only to find a child with an origin that even he wouldn't need to ask Bulma's help for, then he would be sure to tell Uub... eventually. Not Vegeta though, not till the child is much older)
[I appreciate you reading this far for what is basically fanfic. I originally planned for this to be shorter and focus more on their potential interactions as reincarnations, but the ideas for the start of it got away from me until I had all this written out]
i 100% forgot to answer this when i got it forever ago but. this is so cute and nice but anon i have to tell you. i have written a scenario almost exactly like this in me and my friend moths dms ages ago THIS IS NOT TO DETRACT from your very fun janemba and uub story, I love it a lot! but I do think it's very real of us uub buu and janemba enjoyers to have the same mind

Daroach: *confidently* You wanna kiss me so bad it makes you look like an idiot!

*DMK turns sharply and grabs a startled Daroach by his cape with one hand, removing his mask with the other*

*DMK yanks Daroach forward into a firm kiss, nearly knocking the rat off balance; DMK's wings unfurl behind him, and a fierce blush spreads over both of their faces*

*DMK then shoves Daroach away, who reels back on one foot with hearts in his eyes, grinning like a fool*

for years i attended knight school in hopes of becoming a hero who rescues beautiful maidens from danger (wyrms, wolves etc). unfortunately due to Feminism the maidens have all started rescuing themselves thus rendering me obsolete

gohan is the funniest ever version of a burnt out gifted kid because the thing he’s burnt out on is having superpowered martial arts abilities. by every other metric he’s a very stable and successful adult man but nobody in his life except his wife and mother care about that shit, and they all call him a washed up loser because he doesn’t want to shoot energy beams at aliens anymore.
