Alright y'all I've seen enough people complain about this by now it's starting to get annoying

Yes, we all know these two skin tones are exactly the same. And I'll admit, I was upset about it too when I first saw it.

So why have it? Why did they give us this useless skintone?

Simple, suit completion and server demands.

We all know that the skin warm ray is exactly the same as this new skin. But what some people forget, I think, is that warm ray is already part of a suit, and therefore can't be applied to another. What does this have to do with anything? I'm sure you've noticed by now that there's no default skintone makeup in this suit, which is something people have been asking for; dark skin exclusive suits and makeups.

Well, if they wanted to be able to give the dark skinned makeup and only the dark skinned makeup as the server keeps begging for, they'd need to be able to give it in the default pose version without it looking like Nikki's doing blackface or something. So they'd need a skintone for it.

So then, they could just make it a new skintone, right? Wrong.

If they did that, people would complain because there's a high chance they'll never use it again, like they did with the suits that go with hacker's secret and heart of ghost.

Guys, they're trying their best, here. But there's no way to give only the dark skinned makeup and have it versatile with preexisting skintones unless they do this, or don't give a default pose version at all. Otherwise, they'd have to go back to giving the default skintone as the default pose version and have the dark skinned makeup be a completion prize again, which many people complained about.

I'm in no way on the devs' side about a lot of things, but this one case in particular just feels kinda dumb to me.

Anyway thank you for coming to my TED talk. Please, let's just all enjoy Barbie's birthday celebration event in peace? This is our first ever collab, and we should just try to enjoy it. Having an extra "useless" skintone ain't that deep.
