Is it to much to ask to be only perceived as a vaguely masculine eldritch being of horrifying beauty?

‘The Last of Us’ Star Bella Ramsey Comes Out as Gender Fluid
“I’m very much just a person,” the 'Game of Thrones' alum said in an interview.

Bella Ramsey (Lyanna Mormont) has been in the news a lot because of The Last of Us now airing on HBO. In one recent interview she came out as nonbinary.

Ahead of the series’ debut, she sat down with The New York Times for an interview published online Wednesday and was candid about how she identifies.

“I guess my gender has always been very fluid,” Ramsey said. “Someone would call me ‘she’ or ‘her’ and I wouldn’t think about it, but I knew that if someone called me ‘he’ it was a bit exciting.”

[ … ]

As for pronouns, Ramsey said she would check “nonbinary” if it’s an option on a form. “I’m very much just a person,” she added. “Being gendered isn’t something that I particularly like, but in terms of pronouns, I really couldn’t care less.”

Genderfluid Shapeshifting?????

Hi!! So I think that I'm Genderfluid (I've been going with this label for like 5+ months, and have been using fluid gender labels for a long time before tthattt) And recently I started to realize that my face.. Changes...

So uh.. Most people know how boy's faces and girl's faces look different, right? My face can be one or the other, both at the same time, neither, or a combination. And it's not just my bias from already knowing my gender, since one of my friends had brought it up to me before (Boy day, and she had forced me to do a little photoshoot thing for her, and she had braided my hair, but the braid wasn't visible with how i had my head turned and stuff, and she had told me, "Move your braid! You look like a little boy!!" And um.. Boy day so in the end she did have forcefully move my hair, but wtvv) and then just recently I asked a different friend what gender my face looked like on an Agender day. He said Agender.

Is this just a thing that happens?? Other fluid gender people or flux gender people, please tell me if you've noticed stuff like this??? Does your face just.. Change to match ur Gender??? Please helpp =(

I Did Something For @switchnx

I did something for @switchnx

It's star and jewel woman!

Jewel woman (or Helen, as was her former civilian name and overall identity) is just chilling with star (formerly rock) jewel woman got dumped a lot by men but when she saw a gay couple, her egg cracked and she realized that she wanted to be a man... So she modified herself and became a drag king and gave herself a new civilian name... Paris. And called her new identity... Jewel man!

This reminds me of the time when I went into the city with a friend and we met their kinda weird Christian relative that proceeded to ask me if I was a boy or a girl because she seriously couldn’t tell. I know she probably hated having to ask that question (and also getting the answer “both and neither” from me) but it’s still one of my favorite moments of my life to this day🫧

hoodie.

you know, being gender-fluid is so full of possibilities until you realize that most of the time you just feel like a gremlin and end up wearing the same old hoodie that you’ve worn at least five times in the last week, like ok, gender is too tired today, so we’ll just wear the hoodie :)

I for one don’t think it would change much about the world because in a world of dragons they probably wouldn’t care that much about trans or non binary peeps like how hybrids are some dragons don’t like that but they still just mind there own business

Tell me your thoughts on trans or other gender (not just male or female) wings of fire dragons.

How it would work, what it would do, how it affects the WoF world, etc., in all canon timelines and tribes, just anything the mind comes up with.

I see trans ocs and fluid ocs all the time for this fandom, and I wanna see everybody's processes on it, whether it be simple or complex.

Spread word. I have no idea what this will conjure.

i've just come to a thought, about gender, and somehow, wigs (???)

🌸 (skip to part "🍄" for the real thought)

for context about myself, i struggle to identify gender as a big thing, like for me it has the same weight as eye color or haircut when i describe a person (so to me sexism and gender discrimination as well as the whole society dividing our population between "males" and "females" is nonsense)

instead, when i see someone, i encompass their main characteristics and link that to a face and when i can, a name. [Assumed] gender is often one of the characteristics that i remember the best, along with haircut and -color and height (i have no idea why) + a unique physical or vocal thing that stands out. But gender is at no point the main thing, I rather see the whole person (or what i know and remember about them), often including gender.

🌼 (it was a long contextualization sorry)

so when it came to questioning my own gender, i struggled a lot and had a few theories, things i explored to know what i was the most comfortable with (i still don't have a clear answer btw)

one of the "theories" was gender fluidity, back when i was in highschool. The way i was thinking of it was : sometimes i feel more "masculine" and prefer to be perceived as someone with "masculine" characteristics, sometimes more "feminine" // ; but sometimes i felt like i was disgusted of being perceived as a woman, or as a man, (tbh most of the time i just hate to be perceived but that's not the point), so i tended towards a more neutral look, but, it was not only about gender. Those "masculine", "feminine" and "neutral" characteristics that i was looking for, actually had nothing to do with gender, because as i recall, i don't see gender. I was just biased by society stereotypes that we've been taught since birth. What was actually happening, is that those types of clothes + this mood i woke up with + these events in my day + these people or group of people i will meet was making me feel like "this is how i want to be perceived and/or this is how i would like to feel like today". It could be as "someone confident", "someone classy", "comfy in winter type", "dark sleep-deprived grrl", "rain and lost wave mood", "fit-in and not standing out type" etc.

so gender fluid I was not (maybe you consider I am but I don't think of myself like that)

🍄

so here's the actual thought about the wig and gender

when i was swinging through genders and "types of person i felt like at this exact moment" it felt like you have a wig (it works with many things other than wigs oc) over your natural hair, and it works like makeup, sometimes you put it on for you, sometimes for others, sometimes for both

and one day you feel like wearing long hair, but the other day shorter hair, or colored hair, depending on your own parameters of how you feel like and external parameters like what type of people you are going to meet. But also sometimes you don't want to put a wig on, and you just let your "natural" hair be as it is, and you don't care what the others think your hair looks like, they can think they are long or short, it's actually up to them depending of their criterias and it won't define you

it's accessory

and i feel like that about gender, if that makes sense

some like their hair or non-hair how it is, some like to style it a bit, some will change every week or a few times a decade, others will radically change one time and be happy with their last cut but in no way this alters who they are fundamentally

and gender doesn't define you, except if you want it to be for some reason, like if it's a way to resist or convey a message, but otherwise let anyone be who they want or feel like to be, it doesn't have to weigh so much in society (i'll stop here because i think people who got here already know the point i'm making)

I agree, i'm genderfluid and not girly as other girls are

Reposting a comment I made on a post and adding to it

x Reader fics need to handle writing “reader” better sometimes

As a 6ft afab person who’s built like a man and has never been super feminine and has a more unique haircut that’s shorter I hate to read about “readers” petite, small, pale body and her “long flowy straight hair”, etc.

Reader is meant to be ambiguous!! And if it’s important to the plot please mention it at the beginning!!! If it’s not important to the plot why is it being included???

Some people who are reading may be tall, fat, skinny, short, or even somewhere in between. The readers could have a hijab, 4c hair, locks, braids, long hair, short hair, wavy, no hair and even more.

Stop making all readers so sweet and innocent, I want a reader who’s petty and sassy sometimes. I’ve noticed also that so many readers are either too baby to do anything or over powered.

Personally I also hate reading about obviously toxic men and relationships that the reader goes back to because they are “so in love”, like no please let me deck that sucker and leave them in the dust and be happier.

Also, if you label your post with the tag “___ x reader” or titled with “___ x reader” and then make descriptions and then ADD A NAME!!! It’s not an x reader fic and I heavily want to block you.

Edit:

Hey hello! I just wanted to add that I heavily respect and love fic writers! So many have a talent that I will never reach or have and I appreciate your content being put out at all! I made this post as a 5 am ramble and was half delirious lol

People can write as they please and I’ll ignore it if I’m not interested or I’ll make slight internal edits to fit me if I am

More Fetti Widow art

Ok so here's my type I guess

I was going through old drawings and found that my three gender fluid charecters all have the same dress and build

This is weirdly coincidental as Swap Jevil was already built like a cake and his dress was modeled after Alphys date dress

314 was modeled after Alphys as well so she's round and squishy and has the same dress

Lastly Fetti Widow was modeled after my friend (who doesn't have Tumblr) and she has the same build, is gender fluid, and the dress was modeled after a cake with sprinkles so by mostly coincidence all three gender fluid charecters came out as plus sized with black dresses with polka dots

Which is my type I guess
