welp here goes:

Maven: "Is it hot in here, or just you" - followed by me serenading him with a one woman hamilton production (cus he likes the theatre ya see)

Mare: "Are you lightning? Cuz I wanna make you McQueen" - and then I would choose literally anything over her (i sensed a recurring theme in the books and it seemed to end well for all parties 🥰)

Cal: "Are you a campfire? cuz I want s'more" - and then i'd pull out marshmellows and we'd make s'mores

Kilorn: "Are you a fisherman? Cuz i'm hooked" - before becoming a fish and doing the macarana (in my head he isn't exactly straight so idk what to do for him)

Iris Cygnet: "Am I drowning or just looking into your eyes?" - and then she'd probably actually drown me but like in a cool fun way

Evangeline: I am not getting in the way of my fave girl kissers, but if i did - "Are you a steel drum? Because the rhythm of your heartbeat is music to my ears"

Im actually well proud of some of these, I guess thats why they call me the best skibidi rizzler

Official 2025 Red Queen fandom "GRAMMYS" AWARDS

I have had this idea for a while and decided to put it into action and see if other fans are interested. Posters on tumblr for the RQ series fandom will be given awards for different things. These people dedicate much work to feed the fandom and I wanted to find a way to appreciate them. I have in mind art categories, humor, ships, and others. I will be open to suggestions, too! If I tag you that means I know you for posting Red Queen things, I don't usually post anything on my account so if you can, reblog and get the word out to other fans and people who follow you. It would help a lot! You don't have to but it would mean a lot and show support. For everyone who sees this I would love your help and votes if we decide to get this started. I’d probably just say I preferred him to cal, idk my dude is just so starved of *actual* love and affection I think anything could sway him (or not, a little bird DID tell me that he could have a crush on this girl called mae? Mace? Mare?)

I just think if you matched his freak enough then he would be a goner, as you pointed outbI am a bit of a rizzler tho so here are some *specific* lines I’d use:

(Dw the high school au is coming together nicely, I just accidentally wrote the second chapter first somehow??)

Maven would definitely sing taste by Sabrina Carpenter to mare about cal like,

(I tried to add some lines that I thought really screamed maven but then I ended up with the entire song so, yeah just enjoy these)

I wish mare had chosen maven cuz not only did it make more sense but they would’ve served so hard too, like mare could’ve pulled a Catherine the Great and overthrown maven but he could just chill in the castle and they’d still low-key “date”? Court? Get freaky? Either way they would’ve been such a power couple like attahshdbejdb

Like, hello? Two fire benders/wielders with daddy issues who want to kill each other and take the throne? Ummm

Cuz your telling me your don’t hear Maven saying “I’m about to celebrate becoming an only child”

I don’t know who’s who, cuz Azula and Maven deffo share similarities - insanity, stealing the throne, feeling not good enough, general evilness but in Maven and Zukos eyes, Azula and Cal are considered prodigies and like the best of the best so….

But zuko and Cal share similarities too, leaving/being forced from your home, going on a quest to reestablish your honour and ending up on the “heroes” side

I forgot to mention all the parallels to shows as well, like with Macbeth, how ambition can be a curse, Lady Macbeth as Elara pushing Maven (Macbeth) then going kinda insane (seeing daggers, hearing his mother) and ultimately ending in tragedy

Or Les Mis/Cabaret, the people rising up (I haven't actually seen it but I listen to the soundtrack it's good and there are deffo some parallels)

Lmk if there are any more, my brain loves picking things apart and seeing how they fit together (I just got that english lit dog in me bro)

I wish in the RQ books they explored Maven's love for theatre, like it's so ironic how he says he loves plays and shows but then you find out his whole life is pretty much an act. I think it would be so interesting to know why he liked it too, did he like the actors ability to pretend? The chance to escape the real world? I was so surprised that VA like never mentioned it again, maybe because by the time we got to his pov so much was happening? but then Cal never mentioned it either so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've come to the realisation that this is a hyperfixation atp so here are parallels/links/things that remind me of Red Queen (most are maven because ........ ) *update after i finished typing all this, they're all mavem .....................yeah, heh he heh hehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhagaggaaahhhaaaahhhh)

Aegon Targaryen in House of the Dragon really really reminds me of Maven like especially the whole stealing your siblings throne. He also looks like how I pictured him too y'know (just really blonde)

Then of course theres King George in Hamilton, I'll send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love like c'mon that just screams mareven

Mare and Maven in rq 1 reallllly reminded me of katpee (katniss and peeta) like a forced relationship, having to perform for the people, when I read rq the first time i was really hoping they would *fix* maven a similar way to how they helped peeta in mockingjay

What do the silvers even look like?

Like i was thinking about it and realised how strange they would look, like any undertones or pink in our skin would be silver for them like...

their mouths, their tounges, when i first read the books i kinda just pictured a silver blush maybe twighlight esque looking y'know? but like they'd be so freaking silver

please tell me I'm not the only one who took this long to realise

I just saw a fic where mare was in on mavens plan and they ruled together, it was really short, I’m pretty sure it was less than a thousand words but I’m low-key considering something similar but multi part, like a good long fic
