Just made one for Ouroboros or O.B! I’m not as happy with this one compared to the others but it’s still cool!
I just realized that I never actually posted anything about a lot of my mha ocs so here’s a couple of them!
Ichiro Aikawa
Age: 15
Height: 5’5
Hair color and length: gray and shortish
Eye color: black
Sexuality: lesbian likes woman
Pronouns: they/them
Scars: mostly just a few here and there on their body.
Rat: this quirk gives its user the ability to transform into a rat along with being able to communicate with them. This quirk also gives its user rat ears which make their hearing two times better than most people’s, along with all of that, the quirk gives its user heightened intelligence that allows them to solve complicated math problems in their head. The downsides to this quirk are, due to the users heightened senses they can easily get overwhelmed in large crowds and need specially designed headphones that cover their human and rat ears, when quirk is overused the users hearing becomes more sensitive, their voice becomes squeakier and harder to understand, and they risk temporarily becoming dumber.

Hair color and length: pink, and shoulder length
Eye color: pink
Sexuality: lesbian/ likes woman
Pronouns: she/her
Scars: one scar across her nose and others scattered around her body
Quirk: Rosy floatation. This quirk gives its user the ability to float any item they touch. When the user touches an item and specifically is using their quirk the item will begin to glow pink and they can move it telepathically. When the quirk is in use the users hands and the item they’re floating glows pink. The downsides of this quirk are, when an item is touched and being controlled by the user the item will glow pink no matter what so people can tell when the quirk is in use, when the quirk is overused the user becomes exhausted and nauseous.

If she’s in mha she’ll actually have two quirks which will be my crystal shield quirk and my elven quirk!

I’ve remembered why I stopped writing on wattpad. It’s cuz I lose motivation too fast and can never finish stuff, so in a day or two I’m gonna post just a simple overview of Himiko’s past. But for now I’m gonna show you all another oc of mine

Age: 20/ five years older than class A

Sexuality: asexual/ doesn’t feel romantic love

Eye color: I can’t show it in picrews so I usually just go with random colors but her eyes are like streaks of different colors like the Netflix thing where it looks like string. That’s what her eyes look like
Hair color and length: dark brown and short
Skin tone: pale with a bit of a tan
Scars: one cheek scar, and other scars across her body
Quirk:
I did borrow this quirk from a fanfic on Ao3 called datastream
Datastream: this quirk gives its user the ability to see streams of data such as, a phone call, a YouTube video, text messages, or any other thing related to tech, and allows the user to access it doing so the user can see and or hear what the stream is and says. The user can also access cameras by tapping into their data stream doing so the user can jump from camera to camera or even tap into hero comms to contact a hero. The user does not have to touch the streams to enter them and is able to both be half in a stream and half still conscious so the user can have a conversation with a hero through a stream whilst still having a conversation with a friend physically. The downsides of this quirk are, even though the user can multitask and both interact with the world whilst still being in a stream if the user wants to fully dive into a stream they can no longer interact with the outside world using their physical body until they tap out of a stream, if fully in a stream the user becomes vulnerable to attack given that they are unable to fight back or even realize they’re being touched, moved, or spoken to, when quirk is overused the user becomes tired, gets headaches, and their eyes hurt as if they had been looking at a screen for too long, they also become more tired.
Sorry for giving up on writing all of Himiko’s back story but it’s never gonna get finished if I keep doing it this way
Also Toshiko is not a hero at first she’s actually a vigilante who then becomes an intelligence hero!

Quirk:
Angels feathers: this quirk gives its user the ability to take energy from the surrounding area/ people and use it to heal others or themself, the quirk is also a mutant type quirk and gives the user large white wings that glow when the quirk is used, much like Hawks’s quirk the user can detach these feathers and either control them or use them as swords. The user can also take their own energy and use it to heal others though they can only use it as a last resort since it takes away their own energy. The downsides of this quirk are, the user cannot heals themself or others if everything in the surrounding area is dead and they’ve already used their own energy to heal, if the all or most of the users feathers are destroyed it takes multiple days for them to fully grow back and the user cannot fly during that duration tho they can heal, when quirk is overused the users own wounds take longer to heal, the users wings become weaker, and the user becomes more tired and can be injured easier.

I’m coming up with a new character rn and I need suggestions

Now everything with question marks is undecided and I need your help with, same with what fandom. My friends aren’t much help
My questions are,
How tall should she be? Should I stick with five nine or make her taller, or shorter?
How old should she be? This will be important especially if she ends up in the mha fandom because if she’s older she’d be a hero and if she’s younger she’d be a student
And what fandom should I put her in? The options are

SO! I’ve been pondering the idea of an oc who has a support hero type quirk thats semi tied to her composure/emotions. I NEED HELP BADDD.. i’m not sure what kind of quirk would be fitting for her personality but also like actually useful…. I was thinking something that could be pink related or just generally cutesy (tysm for your time ^^)
Hey sorry it took me a week to answer I’ve been camping and haven’t had access to the internet for a while :)
Feeling Pink: when the user feels certain emotions they can help others in different ways. When the user is happy they can boost others moods causing them to be more determined and focused. When the user is sad they can cause their enemies to feel weakened and scared. When the user is angry they can cause their allies to become stronger and more durable. When they’re scared they can cause their allies to become more aware of their surroundings so they can better anticipate any attacks. Any other more minor emotions either do nothing or the same thing as whichever emotion they’re most similar to. When the quirk is in use the user and whoever is being affected with have a pink aura surrounding them. The downsides of this quirk are, the user cannot affect themself, the user is unable to force emotions but they are more emotional than most.
Hope this is what you wanted! I’m pretty happy with it especially since I didn’t really know what to do at first. :)

colored outlines or black outlines? {the og drawings were outlined in sharpie and mostly used other markers/pens}
so technically the black outlines are closer to the characters first designs, but i’m worried for some reason. like it still looks like my style, but it’s missing the colored outlines

does anyone have an idea on what to do for andieson’s scarring/rotting skin? she would scratch at it after charm learned that they were diagnosed with something that would make her eye and surrounding skin basically die

Let me preface this by saying I am by no means a scientist or have any professional qualification or degree in science. I am just an undiagnosed neurodivergent guy who likes to make lore accurate OCs.
This post made me think and research more about wyverians and their leg anatomy (and ears too but not sure how they work). So I went on the wiki and game art gallery archives and here are the results. The links will be put at the end of this post.
I will be going over the species by generations and add exceptions at the end because some characters are weirder than others.
Generation One (Monster Hunter and Monster Hunter Freedom) : There are no tall and more “humanoid” wyverians. They are all on the older and smaller side. All of them possess digitigrade feet with three toes on each. And the males possess a talon on each heel.
Some of them possess droopy ears while others don’t. The droopiness of their ears doesn’t seem to correlate with their specific age here.
Generation Two (Monster Hunter Dos and Monster Hunter Freedom 2) : We still see the old and short wyverians but we also see our first giant wyverian, the Great Elder and our first human sized characters ! As well as the first black wyverian character ! All of them have, or seem to have digitigrade feet. The old looking ones have the classic three toes and the males have the talon on their heel. The human sized adults have an unknown amount of toes, all of them being hidden by long dresses or shoes.
The ears again do not seem to be related to age, as there are old characters with up pointing ears and a younger female with drooping ears.
Generation Three (Monster Hunter Tri, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and Monster Hunter 3Ultimate) : No giant old wyverian this time. Only the short ones and the human sized adults. To begin this one with the old ones, they have again the classic digitigrade three toed feet but this time lack the heel talon. The only younger adults are more unclear, hiding their legs behind a hakama and a dress. They appear to be digitigrade again though, with again an unknown number of toes.
In this generation, the only wyverian with low pointy ears is the only female wyverian shown (on the wiki, I have not seen more). Not related to age then, and unclear about gender, I would need more examples and samples.
Generation four (Monster Hunter 4/Monster Hunter 4Ultimate, Monster Hunter Generation and Monster Hunter Generation Ultimate) : Lots of games in this one ! And quite a few characters and characteristics to go through. We have our classic old wyverians, with their digitigrade three toed feet, no heel talon for the males in this one either. The human sized adults seem to have variants with some plantigrade and digitigrade feet. The first of the series. And also the first children wyverian characters of the series ! It is unclear if they have digitigrade or plantigrade feet. The feet are too short and their clothes too baggy to see any important detail. Also, for the adults and children, their amount of toes is unclear, all of them have socks and shoes.
And again, the ears have no correlation between the ear shapes, gender and age.
Generation Five (Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise) : Quite a lot more new human sized adults in this generation. As well as a few older ones. All of them digitigrade. The older ones having three toes and no visible heel talons. The tall adults have four toes as shown on the post above. Not much more to say that hasn’t already been said before.
And there don’t seem to be a lot of new droopy ears, especially on tall characters.
Generation Six (Monster Hunter Wilds and future games ?) : We have quite a lot of new wyverians to look at ! And they are quite straight forward in this one. Multiple body types, we have the classic old wyverians, digitigrade legs, three toes and the males have their heel talons once again. There is a giant one too, but he is like the other old ones. Now, there are our tall humanoid wyverians. Digitigrade legs, three toes with quite short lower legs and long feet. Also interesting to note, the wyverians originating from the old world and the Forbidden Lands have the same anatomy. Now a new category of wyverians ! They share all physical characteristics with the tall humanoid wyverians, except that they are twice to three times their size and have a bigger than “human average” nose. And as I have seen so far, I have not noticed any children.
And this is where it gets interesting ears-wise. All the younger characters have elf-like pointed ears going outwards and upwards but the older ones have droopier ears. It seems related to age in this one.
(I have not yet had the time to take proper pictures of the Wilds wyverians, as I borrow someone's pc via parsec and don't want to disturb them by spending hours taking photos and screenshots of fictional character legs)
Spin-offs and unclear games (Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories Wings of Ruin) : There are quite a few wyverians in the Stories part of the franchise, especially the second game. And it is not quite half and half but in the adult wyverians, we have some with digitigrade feet, others with plantigrade feet. And we have tall adults, squat old folks and some children. The children seem to only have digitigrade feet with three toes. However, some adults have plantigrade feet with three or four toes, which doesn’t seem that common. For the elders, the majority have the classic digitigrade feet with three toes and do not have the heel talon. Some have other things going on.
And once again, the droopy ears don’t appear all that often and don’t seem related to age or gender.
Onto our exceptions and unclear categories ! Indeed, last but not least, I will name a few characters who do not fit in their generation standard or who I have not seen aside from wiki concept art. Unknown Guild master → an adult with digitigrade feet and four toes and up pointed ears.
Lady in a Dress → adult too, with strange looking legs but plantigrade feet and un unknown number of toes. Her ears are pointing downwards.
HR100 Guild Receptionist from MH Generation Frontier → Adult again with unclear leg disposition and unseen feet. Her ears are very long and low
Hojo from MH Rise → Just here because his ears are not seen anywhere else (I know it is a reference to the Buddha earlobes or a similar signification), same for his body type
Veggie Elder from MH4U → One of the rare old characters to possess plantigrade feet
Majek from MH Stories → one of the rare old characters to possess four toes. The shape of his feet is also unclear.
The Allhearken from MH Wilds → To my knowledge, she is the only older wyverian to not be squat and short.
Old Dede from MH Stories → His body type is unusual, he also possesses three toed plantigrade feet with a heel talon. HE IS ALSO GREEN. Obviously a yokai reference (Kappa I believe, correct me if I’m wrong)

So, i might get in a lil trouble for it, but i took some illustrations from the complete works of monster hunter world to create a reference sheet for wyvernians.
figured i’d share it for those that wanna create their own wyvernians.
since i’m not profiting, i figure it’s okay.
i did notice something odd that i don’t know if it’s design fail or just a variation among the race, but the larger more human-like wyvernians have four toes, the small squishy squat ones have three toes. their foot wear also seems to vary quite a bit. Though it seems just as common for them to just opt to… not… wear shoes. at all. particularly among those that doesn’t really go out much like the ecologist and third fleet captain.
