how long does it take you to plan out one of your house of the dragon stories?
In all honesty I don't really plan it out. I write out the basic plot of what I want. Like for my Demigods of Valyria series, I wrote out the names and godly parents for each kid before I later added what kind of mark I wanted for each one to have. In the Deal Of Gods and Humans I did a quick google search about Goddesses of Love and Fertility to get a good idea of what I wanted the statue to look out but it onky took me a few minutes.
Mostly I just write what I'm interested in at the moment. I have like 20 drafts of differen ideas that I'll probably never actually post. The longest its ever taken for me to write anything down is probably two hours of looking up names and the fourteen gods and symbols they would have.
Hope that helped!
Me when thinking about my future life and planning my future home life with my boyfriend X3š©·š
today is worst day, i am off killing myself.
+
our existence and future is predetermined by variables around us.
some things that make you better, and some things that don't.
when I consider that I imagine I should just off myself today.
I got shock figuring out I am 22, not 21 years old. I lost track of time so badly I forgot that. I thought I was 21 and convinced myself. But I actually am 22 now. Wow, last 5 years of my life were hell. In fact, I'd say everything after 12 was already hell. It was empty void. That's why I really hate videogames, why did I spend so much time playing garbage like Dark Souls? Jesus. Uh... Fuck, I am 22 years old, holy shit I am fucked. It's time to think about my future priorities. a month in mental asylum then few years of absolute suffering and misery, anything after 2015 is blurry to me, I feel like I stopped existing as entity. I wasted a lot of time on social media, a lot of time chasing nothingness, things that possess no power in the world.
And now it's actually 2025?! My brain feels like nothing has been happening and I was genuinely rotting away. I am glad I managed to release some of these touhou videos, I am glad I managed to bring churro back. But everything in my spirit feels miserable, it's pretty obvious I am not cutout for humanity's methodology. I haven't made any friends nor any partner, I do not have any form of support at all. Not even one of family. And with my personality, with my way of being, I doubt I'll ever be able to get any. My ego is in shambles and anger as of right now. It's funny right? It's a small detail but if I said 21 it would have made me FEEL as if I accomplished a little of something. By taking a date one year further now it makes me feel like I am REALLY LATE. After all, I took a while to condition myself to the premise of "atmosphere", this is how "things are supposed to be or play out". I feel insignificant today and like the world is jusjt gonna step on me to death and there's nothing I can do. I am people pleaser, because i felt socially forced to act like one. Like that was a means of survival that I half-hazardly accepted while not feeling it in my heart. Now even complaining makes me feel like age is crawling as penalty for speaking words here. Indeed, nobody really cares. It's all fake, people only care about things that cost zero risk. Associating yourself with something weak makes you weak, isn't that right?
So, what will be my priorities for the rest of my life?
I am definitely alone and I am also not strong to defeat the world on my own, I am tired of ironyposting. I am fucking tired of watching shit youtube content. I am tired of social media hijacking my mind (when really i would've preferred living in a tribe than this fucking -technocratic place) well.. 1. I will try to work on churro as much as I can so this site works and I will use my finance to support it. Since I won't ever have a child, I can share it with the site. It can be costly for future servers and for advertising on whenever I can, but it is my genuine goal to both spend my time and money on the site. That said, I cannot do it while also working, because a few hours aren't enough to code any substantial changes or fix bugs. I will work on trying to take a gambit of perfecting the site while NEET at the moment. My second goal is touhouposting, I thought that I will have periods where I upload videos on youtube and continue doing it. Playing videogames might not be good way to spend free time, but nobody really liked me and I don't communicate so I feel this is better efficient way than all these times I tried making friends. I will probably upload touhou videos every 4 days if my time allows it, but I will eventually run out of time to edit.
So, the touhou thing isn't eternal, give it like 5 years maybe max, I hope to end it at 3. They will be published even if I die but they ought to be entertaining videos.
With that said, gym and training play huge role of my daily life. So that also takes a lot of time.
And procrastinating, I gotta talk about the worst. I am bad at dealing with abstract things, they waste my time more than anything. I am already a loser incel the way I am but when I deal with something that doesn't have a clear goal it will be bothering me. I need to manage my time so I spend the LEAST time on things that requrie entertainment over work. This stuff is something that is hard to fight when you got addicted to brainrot.
yep, I'm probably gonna die. I wouldn't know anything anymore, it'd be nice to have son who would manage churro, maybe I can adopt somebody at very late age as ultra-cuck or something, I am getting tired of typing....
Get idiots ready for the Toy Tour, reasonably hyped
Slam-dunk them onto the train
Introduce the nightmare critters - theyāre forced to share a train carriage
Make the critters go ā:0ā as theyāre given rooms while Dogday shits himself because he canāt sleep beside BigNap
Introduction to Ollie and the realisation theyāve turned into a dictator
Grand dinner night and the official announcement of the start of training
Slow realisation that the Toy Tour is rigorously controlled
Mass panic, leading to threats of Destroy-A-Toy
The Tour is now a concentration camp where anyone who objects is killed or threatened
Optional additional ideas:
Someoneās poisoned at the dinner party
Ollie teaches the other toys about things like racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia etc and theyāre all horrified because these toys have never seen those concepts before (at least, not that theyāre aware of)
Dogday makes friends with Infox, who is @thattiredgamerās OC; Kather, who is @i-am-in-the-mind-fuckās OC, and SourTail, who is @bazyboo13ās OC
Possibly a snippet or mention of the cult. Youāre not meant to know Destroy-A-Toyās being ruled by the kitty queen, but for those already in the know it would be great foreshadowing!
Teach the toys the Footloose dance because it would be really funny as a training exercise
The above are the things I gotta do forrrrr this series!
May be shabby now but Iāve got the plans! Stories take time! Especially since this is more an original fic instead of a what-if :)
I now have a plan in place for all the Smoke Room Spiderweb Characters I plan to draw and then do a small post about.
To the two people who actually care about this rewrite, stay tuned. This'll probably take a long time.

Iāve got a lot of questions about this during my Art Center time, so I drew it ! This system came from when I had to manage my time during art high school (8am-5pm everyday) with 2 waitress jobs. Everybody has different working method, but I will be more than happy if anyone gets new idea from it !Ā

how im preparing for 2025ā.ą³ąæ*:dš¬š
MY MANIFESTING LIST ;
every year i always make a list of the things that i wanna manifest in 2025, i dont always complete it in the first sitting bcuz i add onto it as the year progresses but i like to have a basic framework of everything that im manifesting in that year.
also along with my manifest list for 2025, i also create a 2025 vision board because it motivates me and reminds me of all the amazing things that im going to experience in 2025.
REFLECTING ON THIS YEAR ;
so in my notion i have a section called the 'monthly digest' where every single month i break down the 4 weeks of the month and everything that i did in them in relation to my goals. after every month i write a little summary.
so with that being said i have a LOT to go back to and reflect on so that i can see what i accomplished this year and what i can do better in the next year. this reflection system that i have is so helpful so i'll set one up for 2025 so that i can also have that at my disposal.
BREAKING UP THE NEXT YEAR ;
i break up my year into 4 quarters (each lasting 3 months) that way i can see my year broken up and i have a clear plan and i can be organized. quarter one (january - march) quarter two (april - june) so on and so forth. and after every quarter i do a little analysis.
something else that i wanna try for next year is giving myself quarterly themes. like for each quarter of the year i'll focus on a different aspect of myself, i think that could be funā¦š¬š
PREPARATIONS ;
im wrapping up some things like my projects, assignments and things of that nature so that i can go into the next year on a clean slate. furthermore im making plans for new years eve, and january and making sure that i've already set some things in motion.
all in all, with everything in motion and everything set in place im going into the new year INCREDIBLY confident šš
November 2016
I have just been looking back to the power point and hand out that I made for the training day I gave to my colleagues in L'Arche back in 2009. It was the subject of one of the thrice yearly (I think they were) training days that I organised for the support assistants who worked in the the day provision workshops. I really continue to feel strongly about the links between Montessori philosophy/education and good practice for working with people with learning disabilities. Don't get me wrong I am open to other methods and love learning new skills, however, my Montessori training and work has remained a constant source of inspiration. I hope you will find my thoughts interesting!
Later that same year (2009), when I was first seriously working towards working in the museum sector, I was invited by the the then leader of the education team to carry out a week or two's work experience at the London Transport Museum. As part of that work experience I carried out several observations of how nursery aged children interacted with the museum - as it was then. I then wrote up extensive notes into a report for the museum, which included my reflections and suggestions for ways forward.
The following text is the hand out that I created for L'Arche and then adapted for the London Transport Museum. The actual notes and the power point are not included here. Let me know what you think and if you are interested in hearing more or perhaps even asking me for some consultancy? (Better get something about work in there!) :)
Just please bear in mind that I wrote the handout back in 2009. My role at the time was Day Provision Co-ordinator and I supervised the then five different workshop leaders. It wonder if I what I would write the same and different if I was compiling an up to date list...
The handout is/was as follows:
Questions: (Inspired by the Montessori Method)
What do you think the workshop does well and has to offer the people with learning disabilities who come to it?
What aspects do people like about working in the workshop? What is unique about the workshop?
What things do you feel the workshop could do better with in what it offers people with learning disabilities? Are people as independent and in control as possible?
Environment: (How the workshop space is set up.)
Is there order in the environment?
Does everything have its place?
Do people know where to find everything they need without the help of an assistant?
Can the people reach everything?
Is everything within their reach appropriate? (So you donāt need to say no or stop someone from taking something.)
Are there any unnecessary distractions in the physical space? (E.g. large colourful pictures and or objects.)
Are people working in a space that is appropriate for them? (E.g. sitting, standing and with where in the room they are and who else is near where they are working.)
Is there enough opportunity for movement in the work place and within the activities themselves?
Daily routine: (Timing of things)
Is the timing of daily events clear?
Does everyone know what is happening and when?
Is the routine as it is working for everyone or do people require changes?
Is everyone clear about the work they are doing, goals/expectations, boundaries?
Activities/Work: (In the environment)
Are they suitable for people?
Are they too difficult? If they are, is there a simpler or part activity that could take its place?
Have you observed, broken down and tried the different movements needed for an activity?
Could some people be challenged more?
What new skills could people learn and be involved in?
Is there a particular skill that the people are expressing a desire to refine? If yes, how can you support them with this?
Are people choosing their activities?
Do the activities have a clear purpose and meaning?
Are there any jobs that assistants are doing, that adults with learning disabilities could be doing? (E.g. getting cups and taking them back at tea break.) Remember we are enabling people to be as independent as possible. What may seem hard work the time will be worth it in the long run.)
Assistants: (As teachers)
Do you have a positive attitude to everyone in the workshop?
Is there favouritism?
Are you aware of your prejudices?
Do you approach people in a positive way?
Are you careful about not criticising their work, even in a subtle way? (You can show the activity at another point, rather than criticise at the time. Or look at the appropriateness of the activity)
Do you value all activities and work the same?
Do you allow people to take their time and repeat where necessary? Do you give people time to finish their work cycle?
Are you doing too much for people? (Think about even the small things/parts of the process.)
Do you ensure that you donāt interfere when the person is concentrating on their work? (Even by speaking to them with a positive comment! Concentration is a very important skill to develop.)
Do you make sure that you donāt constantly praise people? (People should not rely on others to feel good. The aim is that it comes from within.)
Are assistants clear with people about when the person can make a decision and when they can not?
Are people allowed to make all possible decisions?
Do you take time to sit back and observe?
What areas do you feel you need more support in?
Some quotes about Montessori education.
āAn adult can substitute himself for a child by acting in his place, but also by subtly imposing his own will, substituting it for that of the child. When this happens it is no longer the child that acts but the adult working through the child,ā Montessori.
āThe most important discovery is that a child returns to a normal state through workā¦. A childās desire to work represents a vital instinct since he cannot organise his personality without working; a man builds himself through working.ā Ā Montessori
'It is important for us to know the nature of a childās work. When a child works, he does not do so to attain some further goal. His objective is the work itself, and when he has repeated an exercise and brought his own activities to an end, this end is independent of external factors.ā
āIt is necessary for the child to have this order and stability in the environment because he is constructing himself out of the elements of the environment⦠it is his foundation.ā Ā Montessori
āA childās different inner sensibilities enable him to choose from his complex environment what is suitable and necessary for his growth. They make the child sensitive to some things, but leave him indifferent to others. When a particular sensitiveness is aroused in a child. It is like a light that shines on some objects but not on others, making of them his whole worldā Ā Montessori
